Chapter 1: The Beginning

Chapter Text

Within the deep crevices of the crumbling factory, fighting to survive made every moment a miracle while being far below the playtime factory.

As you trekked along the concrete hallways and broken pipelines, the seering heat and quiet hiss reminded you once again of your predicament. No help, no supplies, no food. The hunger slowly grows unbearable as the last bit of will slowly slips from your grasp.

Collapsing from exhaustion, you tucked yourself by the padded cells and finally fell asleep, leaning against one of the rusted cabinets.

Slight creeks and drips are the only sounds that echo throughout the empty room, the solumn drawings covering the walls where a child once stood, the lights flickering with the reminder of darkness.

Feeling the cloak of a thick sticky substance wakes you up abruptly, looking up at a multi colored humanoid character.
Startled, of course, back peddling against the wall is the first thing you jump to doing.

" hey, hey! It's fine, I'm a friend! " The ' toy ' yells, causing you to hesitantly come to a stop, looking at him with apprehensive curiosity. The commercials were famous, of course you recognized him after a moment of looking at his designs closely.
Doey, the maluable clayish toy that kids had played with for hours on end after the release.

He looked down at you with an odd sense of joy. " finally, thank goodness your awake!" He picked you up easily as he spun you around, his strength shown as he held you like there was a feather within his grasp.

" Doey, right?.. " a quiet tone had been your accustomed normal, staying quiet was the only way to survive down there. His loud voice and abundant amount of energy would cause headaches, you already counted on it. He stopped spinning, smiling with an underlying sense of joy, but something was off. He seemed normal, but the slight feeling of unease he gave had just kept you.. On edge.

He nodded vigorously, walking around what seemed to be more crumbling concrete, a goal certainly in his mind. He continued to hold you close as he walked, seemingly ignoring any sense of self preservation as he continued to speak in a loud tone, in the middle of the wreckage.

" can you please set me down?.. " your quiet request lead him to glance down at you, but otherwise he ignored your request completely. This caused your concern as being almost limp in his grasp lead to thrashing, panicked movements as Doey kept walking, smiling as the clay wrapped farther across your body with an immediate constrictive grip.

A door slammed closed before you finally stopped thrashing, looking around what seemed to be a weakened campgrounds, surrounding toys watching the two of you.

" welcome to your new home! " Doey smiled down at you, finally setting you down as he looked around at the other toys. " we have a new friend in our midst! "

Though, that didn't really keep you in one place.

His abrupt actions lead you to quickly try to leave, ducking to the other side of the camp as the lights flickered and the other plushies went back to their own business.

Except Doey.

He followed, rushing to grab ahold of your arm as he pulled you back to the camp.
" hey, it's okay here! I'm just trying to help, okay? " he smiles, but his grip stays tight.

The smallest gestures felt forced, but he still dragged you back to the camp, ableit rushed.
