Deep, red curtains were opened to admit a picturesque lighting that blossomed in the grandiose bedroom. A vanity, built out of the finest ivory marble with ornate engravings, stood proudly off to the side. Three queens, with the most different personalities, busied themselves in front of it; expensive and lavish makeup cosmetics were littered across the vanity. Laughter bubbled from the cosmetic table, while the gentle healer and mighty king sat around at their leisure, waiting.
Golden Cheese leaned closer to the mirror, puffing her hair out into the exact shape she craved for, turning her head in different directions to examine it. Satisfied, she pulled herself away to give White Lily her turn. Leaning in herself, she closed her fuchsia eye and applied a light, shadowy-green eyeshadow carefully. Brushing the soft brush successfully on one eye, she moved to the other.
“Is this good…?” White Lily turned to her lovers next to her. Golden Cheese and Hollyberry moved closer towards Lily's face, taking in all her dainty features.
“Simply marvelous , my dear! Ouh, you darling thing! ” Golden Cheese lifted her chin tenderly, pinching her cheek with a smile plastered on her face.
“Ah! You’ve truly got the steady hand for that, dear!” Hollyberry complimented, leaning into the mirror as she clipped on dashing, gold earrings to match her usual royal red and pink aesthetic.
“...Thank you…” White Lily felt her face heat up at the compliments, moving on to finish getting ready. “...Should I use a blush, dears?”
“Not with the pretty pink already on your face!” Hollyberry laughed loudly, tapping off a blush brush and applying it onto herself. Cheese giggled lightly, clipping intricate, jeweled earrings onto her own ears.
“Y-you know what I meant…!”
“Of course I did, love. Here, let me put it on your lovely, little face, I’ll only put a bit…” Hollyberry teased as she moved towards White Lily. Waiting for Lily’s flusteredness to pass, she then happily applied a soft blush onto Lily’s cheeks.
“ Aww, aren't you the cutest, Lily, dear!” Golden Cheese watched from the large, vanity mirror, applying mascara skillfully onto her lavish eyelashes.
“H-hush now…” The two laughed as White Lily turned away, both planting pecking kisses to Lily’s soft lips. They all turned back to the mirror, aiming to finish off their last remaining touches.
“You boys bored back there~?” Golden Cheese teasingly snickered, turning over her shoulder towards one of the many couches in Hollyberry's bedroom. Her wings swayed gracefully, matching her always flirtatious manner. The two sat together on one of the couches as Pure Vanilla’s gaze was outside the magnificent windows, and Dark Cacao’s was in a book.
“Not at all, dear…” Pure Vanilla’s gaze broke from the window and turned towards Cacao, moving his staff to examine the pages of the book.
“Hm.” Dark Cacao absently responded to Golden Cheese, feeling Vanilla lean his head on his shoulder. He wrapped his arm around Pure Vanilla, giving him a chaste kiss on his lips.
“Ah yes, I wonder what that grumble meant…” Hollyberry clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes, fixing her hair in the mirror.
“The grump is immersed in a book, he will not respond to you. Not that he uses his words much, anyway… ” Golden Cheese rolled her own eyes, insulting Cacao playfully.
“I can still hear you, darling.” In his low, gravel tone, Dark Cacao responded with a small bout of attitude, not moving his attention from the book. It earned a brazen smile from Cheese, admiring herself in the mirror.
“Heaven knows I’ll never get over his voice…” Hollyberry whispered quietly, shaking her head as she opened a drawer full of more cosmetics, lipstick, in particular. White Lily nodded enthusiastically in agreement, moving her eyes to the drawer of a multitude of different shades of lipstick.
“Ugh, he’s divine…” Golden Cheese shook her head and stood back, looking herself up and down in the mirror. She spun herself in every direction, a smile was wide on her face. “I believe this to be my most exquisite outfit yet, don't you agree? I just need to find the correct shade of lipstick to match superbly…”
“You look radiant , dear…Everything you wear suits you wonderfully...” White Lily smiled, kissing one of Cheese’s hands softly.
“Stunning, as always, love.” Hollyberry admired Golden Cheese ushering her back over to kiss her. “But you make that remark everytime you wear an outfit…”
“Oh hush up, Holly…” She ran her jeweled hands down her sides, primping herself. Her dress was tighter fitting, it molded her body in the exact way Golden Cheese adored, and in one of her favorite colors; teal. The teal dress has beautiful golden accents, which was only fit for Golden Sovereign, as well as a cheeky slit running up modestly on the side.
“ What do you boys think, hm~? How absolutely darling do I look?” Craving her other partner’s attention, Golden Cheese moved confidently towards them. Her heels clicked boldly as she stopped in front of them, grabbing the book from Dark Cacao's hands to gain their attention faster. Her prize, bright smile grew sly watching them study her intently.
“My, you look breathtakingly striking, my dear…” Pure Vanilla’s staff ran its eye up and down Golden Cheese, grasping every part of her body. He put his hand out for Golden Cheese to take, in which she did, his delicate, warm hands squeezed herself fondly. He then kissed each knuckle lovingly. “Such a fine woman you are, dear…”
Golden Cheese giggled as her smirk grew and blush spread on her face. She turned to Dark Cacao and tilted her head playfully, biting slightly at her lip watching his stern face never change. He reached out his arm and pulled her closer, staring up at her from the couch. His deep, purple eyes showed such a strong admiration for Golden Cheese, making someone as confident as her slightly lose her composer.
“You're simply hypnotized by me…Looking at me with those doting eyes of yours…” Cheese’s heart pounded out of her chest as she felt his other hand moved around her waist. Her wings fluttered in anticipation from the gesture.
“ Hm? You have a sudden problem with this? Your subconscious request for attention is being granted, dear…” Dark Cacao traced gentle circles on her waist with his thumbs, watching her face fluster more. “But…maybe I am simply enamored by you, my love…”
“How could you not be? ” Pure Vanilla joined in, seizing the opportunity of a rarely flustered Golden Cheese.
He moved closer to Cheese as Dark Cacao gently pulled her down to sit between them. Golden Cheese rubbed Pure Vanilla’s cheek to which he leaned into, opening his half-lidded eyes. He placed his hand over hers and turned his face to kiss her palm. On the other side, Dark Cacao slipped his hand between her thighs from the slit of the dress, kissing lightly at her jawline and down to her neck. Golden Cheese gasped slightly, squeezing her thighs together on instinct and extending her wings. She let Pure Vanilla lean closer, placing his own hand on her thigh, squeezing it softly. Golden Cheese smirkingly sighed at the boys wrapped around her finger; it could not be helped how dauntingly beautiful she was.
“ I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we still have to finish readying ourselves. And, as much as I would love to watch you three keep at that; keep your hands off of each other… ” Hollyberry disciplined the three on the couch, putting a soft, blush-colored lipstick on White Lily. She turned to them after finishing, seeing Golden Cheese narrow her eyes in rebellion while Dark Cacao and Pure Vanilla lingered over her.
“Come here, Golden Cheese, and both of you get your hands off ; I know you know better than that.” Hollyberry finished her statement sternly, but laughed as both Pure Vanilla and Dark Cacao lifted their hands away in obedience. She rolled her eyes as she smacked her lips together after applying her own pinkish lipstick. Cheese huffed a sigh as she stood up, before moving to walk back to the vanity, Dark Cacao kissed her hand tenderly. His eyes prying at hers, feeling heat rise to her own face.
“You are truly shameless…” White Lily teased Golden Cheese as she walked back to the vanity and scanned through the drawer.
“What can I say? My beauty has got them simply marveled ~” Cheese giggled looking back at the couch where the two of them were sitting, now they had decided to get up, walking towards the vanity. Golden Cheese smiled as she leaned into Dark Cacao, who wrapped his strong arms around her. He peered at both White Lily and Hollyberry, moving his eyes shamelessly about them.
“You both look utterly mesmerizing…” Dark Cacao spoke eloquently, earning a gasp from White Lily and a laugh from Hollyberry.
“Well, aren't you a handsome poet, hm?” Hollyberry stood up and kissed Dark Cacao affectionately, letting it last for a sweet while. It left a playful lipstick stain on Dark Cacao’s lips, to which Hollyberry smiled at, going back for another kiss. Golden Cheese watched slyly.
“Yes, you two looked just as captivating…I wouldn't want to spend all my time on just Goldie… ” Pure Vanilla kissed White Lily sweetly, staining his own lips with lipstick.
“O-oh dear, Vani, you’ve got lipstick on your lips…” White Lily pressed her thumb lightly onto his dainty lips, feeling them curve into a small smile.
“Oh, you aren’t the only one, Vani, dear…” Golden Cheese gestured behind her as she applied her own lipstick mischievously. “Holly, you told me to stop just so you could take my spot? How devilishly crude… ”
Hollyberry and Dark Cacao broke from their upteenth kiss, breathing slightly heavy. She turned back towards the other three, her smile proud and wide. “The big guy just needed his own attention…I simply couldn't resist myself…”
“Your face is full of lipstick, dear…” Pure Vanilla walked over and rubbed his thumb over his lips, smudging some on his finger. White Lily followed him, planting a quick kiss on Cacao herself. The two smallers giggled, seeing his unchanging frown, lipstick filled face, and blush that made his face warmer. “Don’t be so displeased, dear…”
“Vani, dear, come here…” White Lily, twisted open her lipstick as Pure Vanilla tilted his head in confusion. Hollyberry laughed and Dark Cacao narrowed his eyes as White Lily put lipstick on a confused Vanilla, while Golden Cheese came up behind them. “...There, now you can do it too…”
“Ah, I see…” Pure Vanilla’s eyes crinkled in a smile, he leaned closer to White Lily, kissing her cheek as she giggled, leaving a subtle mark behind. He subconsciously touched his lips. “This lipstick feels quite odd on my lips…”
“You’ve never worn lipstick before…Come on, love, give me a kiss on the cheek too!” Hollyberry and Pure Vanilla laughed as he leaned in and gave her a kiss as well. Meanwhile, White Lily and Golden Cheese turned their attention to try and have Dark Cacao join their game; putting lipstick on the king proved to be a challenge.
“Ah! Stop moving, you dummy! This shade is perfect for you!” Golden Cheese tried to grab his face to keep him steady while White Lily attempted to put it on him.
“Y-yes, dear, please! You’ll look wonderful…!” Lily and Cheese laughed, losing focus on Cacao as he moved away from them, practically sulking.
“Oh, it is not perilous, dear…Let them have fun…” Pure Vanilla took Dark Cacao’s arm as Hollyberry kissed Vanilla’s cheek. The brooding king turned to see that Pure Vanilla and Hollyberry had done a number on each other as well, the many lipstick stains were plenty of evidence. “It’ll smudge off when you kiss someone, it is only a game…Do not be so proper.”
“Hold on, girls! Vani’s working his convincing magic…” Hollyberry stopped White Lily and Golden Cheese from their mission, pointing towards the other two. They eagerly waited for Dark Cacao’s verdict, trying to keep their hopes up.
“The last thing I will do is have makeup on…” Cacao grumbled to Pure Vanilla, clasping his arms behind his back.
“And yet, you do already have it on your face…You’ve got pretty lips marks all over your handsome face…” Pure Vanilla started poking a few, the girls behind him stifled their laughter as Cacao narrowed his eyes in annoyance.
“Hm.”
“Oh, please , my dear? We will clean it off afterwards…”
“...” Dark Cacao’s gaze moved between the four of them, their beautiful, bright smiles aimed straight at his heart. He truly did not want to disappoint.
“...Hmpf.”
“Oh joyous day, my loves!” Hollyberry shouted with excitement, she kissed Pure Vanilla’s cheek quickly as a thank you. White Lily’s usually shy smile grew larger, while Golden Cheese spun in excitement.
“Yes, thank you, Vani!” Golden Cheese’s voice rang beautifully, she hugged him tightly.
“What would we do without you, love?” White Lily sighed watching Hollyberry and Golden Cheese usher Dark Cacao into a chair.
“Oh, he doesn’t mind, he simply didn’t want to admit it, and of course…” Vanilla smiled sweetly, watching the girls bicker by the lipstick drawer to find the king’s perfect shade for this once-and-a-lifetime opportunity. “...Be easy with him, you know he’ll get quite annoyed quickly…”
Pure Vanilla walked over and took Cacao’s hand as they both watched the other three debate between two, very similar-looking shades. Dark Cacao smiled ever-so-slightly watching them. He looked back at Pure Vanilla, interlocking their hands and kissing his sweetly.
“They do know we still have an event to attend to, yes?” Dark Cacao mumbled, shaking his head.
“Ah … I suppose they forgot…” Vanilla sat on the arm rest of the chair, letting his waist be held by Cacao. “Need I remind them?”
“...No, a reminder of a mediocre party is not worth ending their witty game…”
“ Oh how sweet of you, dear… Has your flusteredness gotten to your head? All those kisses made you momentarily mushy?” Vanilla whispered, giggling, he knew Dark Cacao already feels that way. Teasing him was an extra amenity.
“ Hmpf … I suppose …”
