Work Text:

Nani opened the door to his apartment and went inside, dragging his suitcase behind him. He had just returned from the airport after a flight of several hours from Italy. Tiredness started getting to him, and jet lag made him feel even worse. He put the suitcase in the corner, not even trying to unpack it now. He didn't have the strength to do that. He promised himself that he would do it tomorrow when he had a bit of rest.

Right now, all he dreamed of was a hot shower, so without any delay, he went to the bathroom. He quickly stripped off the warmer clothes he had worn at the airport in Milan and stepped into the shower. Turning on the taps, he felt the tiredness gradually leaving his body, and the hot water washing away the hardships of the last few hours of travel. The longer he stood in the shower, the more relaxed he became.

When he finally got out of the water, he wrapped himself in a soft towel, feeling a pleasant warmth on his skin. The long shower brought him relief for his muscles, although the tiredness still lingered somewhere inside him. However, now he felt a little more relaxed. He put on sweatpants and a tank top and carefully wiped the dripping water from his wet hair with a towel.

He left the bathroom and headed towards the kitchen. He planned to make himself a coffee. Although he should have gone to bed, he suddenly felt a surge of energy, as if his tiredness had given way to new strength for a moment.

He walked over to the counter where the coffee machine stood and, without thinking, turned it on. He leaned his front against the counter, waiting for the aromatic drink to start brewing. In the silence of the apartment, he could only hear the quiet hum of the device and something else — the footsteps of another person.

Suddenly, he felt strong hands embrace his waist, and the taller man's chin rest lightly on his shoulder. The warmth that surrounded him was familiar and soothing. He didn't have time to react before he felt a gentle kiss on his neck – short, almost fleeting, but enough for a pleasant shiver to run down his body. He shivered slightly and turned his head to look at the person behind him.

"I thought we'd meet tomorrow," Nani said quietly, but there was joy in his voice at seeing Sky so soon after his return.

"I couldn't wait any longer," Sky replied, pressing another kiss on Nani's body, closer to his collarbone. "I thought I'd go crazy the days you were abroad"

Nani sighed with soft delight, his lips involuntarily curling into a smile at the caress Sky was giving him. There was no coffee yet, but now it seemed less necessary than ever. "We have to go there together next time. Just you and me," he said, turning around in the taller boy's embrace to face him. He leaned against the kitchen counter, his hands going to the belt loops of the taller man's trousers, pulling him closer to him.

Sky leaned down, closing the distance between them to a minimum. His hands fell to the counter on either side of Nani, enclosing him in his grip. Nani felt warmth spreading inside him. He swallowed hard, feeling the intensity of Sky's gaze.

"Just you and me? It sounds tempting," Sky said in a low tone, but his expression quickly turned serious. "But I don't know if you'll have as much fun with me as you did with the others in Milan," he added sourly.

Nani narrowed his eyes, for a moment, not understanding what the taller meant. After a few moments, he thought about it and came to a certain conclusion. "Don't tell me you mean those photos?" When the younger didn't answer, he added, "Sky?" he asked, leaning closer. "Are you... jealous?"

"Me? Jealous?" Sky laughed shortly, but there was irony in his voice. "No, not at all. Just because I've seen pictures of you getting along great with all these artists doesn't mean I'm jealous." He said sarcastically without looking at Nani. With one hand, he was now playing with a red thread hanging from the shorter boy's wrist.

Nani raised an eyebrow, not hiding his disbelief. "You're jealous, Sky." In his voice was a hint of amusement but it quickly disappeared when he noticed the younger boy clenching his jaw, still avoiding his gaze.

Next to them, the coffee machine beeped that the drink was ready. The sound filled the space, but to Nani, it suddenly became completely irrelevant. He focused all his attention on the man in front of him. He couldn't stand the sight of Sky's hurt, puppy eyes. "Sky... please, look at me." His voice was soft, gentle.

Sky didn't react right away, but eventually, his dark eyes looked at the shorter one. There were questions in them that he didn't want to ask out loud and fear that he couldn't hide. Nani cupped the taller boy's face in his hands, looking him in the eyes firmly. "Sky, I was there because I had to. But now I'm here. With you. Because I want to and that will never change. You know that Milan was just a work.

Sky was silent for a moment, staring at Nani as if weighing his words. Eventually, his face softened, and the corners of his mouth lifted in a gentle smile. He reached for Nani's hands and covered them with his own, then gently kissed his knuckles.

"You're right. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little. I'm sorry. I know we have such a job," he admitted quietly, his voice shaking slightly. "But that's because sometimes... sometimes I can't believe I met you. The most important person in my life. That I was so lucky. During those days when you were there in Europe and I was here in Bangkok, I wondered... if you missed me as much as I missed you."

Nani looked at him in silence for a moment, letting him continue.

"Every hour without you felt like an eternity. Every smile in your photos and videos of fans you met reminded me how much I wanted to be there, by your side. And it hurt more than I wanted to admit to myself."

Nani sighed, his expression softening and a glint of understanding appeared in his eyes. He wanted to answer, but Sky continued. His words were quiet, almost a whisper. "Sometimes I wonder if I'm enough for you."

Nani froze upon hearing those words. His heart skipped a beat. Without a second thought, he pulled his hands out of Sky's grip and gently grabbed the taller boy's face, making him focus on him. In a quiet but confident voice, he said, "Sky, I love you. And never, ever doubt my feelings, do you understand?" His voice was firm but full of warmth. "For me, you are and always will be more than enough."

Sky looked at him, and Nani could see the relief and joy reflected in his eyes. With a soft sigh, Sky laid his head on Nani's shoulder.

"I should be the one to say it. I didn't think I'd be so lucky to meet you," Nani continued. His hand came up to gently stroke Sky's hair. "Every day I wonder what I did to deserve someone like you. Someone who understands me. Who supports me... Who loves me despite everything."

"P'Nani..." Sky began raising his head, but Nani cut him off, moving even closer. Their faces were now only a few centimetres apart. "No, listen to me. If you knew how much I missed you every minute, every second, you would never doubt how important you are to me again. I know we'll have to be apart for work many more times, but you need to know that you're my everything, do you understand, Sky?"

Sky finally smiled at Nani with that smile that always warmed his heart. It was a smile full of tenderness, sincerity, and warmth – the smile, that Nani loved above all else. His puppy eyes, in which Nani could have gotten lost forever, now shone brighter than all the stars in the night sky. Those black irises reflected all the love – pure and boundless, which words could never fully express.

Sky pulled away slightly and went to play with the red string bracelet on Nani's wrist. Silence filled the room, but it wasn't awkward. It was full of peace, warmth and intimacy.

"Besides, I'm the one who should be jealous," Nani began teasingly, playing with the hem of Sky's shirt with his free hand.

"Why?" Sky asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Should I remind you about that live you did recently? You had to show everyone what a handsome boyfriend I have, right?" The older boy continued to tease him, rolling his eyes and feigning indignation.

Saint laughed loudly. "So I did it. You watched it when you got up this morning, right?" He asked with amusement, glancing at Nani with a mischievous smile.

"Pff, don't imagine too much," Nani replied, feigning indifference, but there was amusement in his eyes. "Maybe I saw something on the Internet," he added.

"I'm glad you liked it," Sky said and stole a quick kiss from Nani. "Hey, didn't you want some coffee by any chance?"

Nani snorted. "It's cold now anyway."

"Maybe you'd like something else instead of coffee, then?" Sky murmured next to the older boy's ear, lightly biting its lobe.

Nani could feel a pleasant current flowing through his body from Sky's words and caresses. He looked up and met a gaze full of fire. Their lips were only centimetres apart. He wanted to kiss him so much. He missed him throughout his trip. And he finally had him. All to himself. Away from the fans. Away from the staff. Away from the film set. Away from the galas, where everyone's eyes were focused on them. Now, here, they could finally be together.

Nani felt Sky's strong hands embrace his waist, wrapping him in a confident, decisive gesture but, at the same time, emanating tenderness. Nani let out a breath, not realizing he was holding it. He craved this closeness so much. To feel the warmth and scent of the taller man. To hold him in his arms and lose himself in his presence. He could almost hear his heart start beating faster.

Sky's soft lips pressed against his with a passion that expressed everything unspoken. Their kiss was greedy, passionate and full of longing. Sky tightened his grip on Nani's hips, pulling him even closer as if he were afraid that he would escape him again for days to come. A pleasant tingling spread through Nani's body, bringing with it euphoria at the thought of what would happen in a moment.

Their tongues fought for dominance, but at the same time moved in perfect harmony. The kiss became deeper, more intense, expressing unspoken longing. Sky's hands roamed the shorter boy's waist, causing him to tremble pleasantly.

Their breaths quickened, but neither wanted to break the moment. Nani buried his fingers in Sky's soft, black hair, surrendering completely to the taller man. He felt every part of his body react to this intimacy as if the world around him had disappeared, and only this moment mattered. Only them. There was nothing beyond them, nothing beyond their feelings, which were now stronger than ever.

Nani believed their bond was unbreakable, like the red threads on their wrists that they had put on as a symbol of their union. However, those bracelets were not just decorations. They were proof that their shared path was destined for them. Nani believed in it with all his heart.

As he headed with Sky to the bedroom, so that he could finally feel his lover, he felt excited at the thought of the upcoming moments of pleasure, but he also felt calm. Because no matter how many times, in the future, they would be separated, whether it was minutes, hours, or even days, he believed that in the end, they would meet again. Like today. This certainty was like a foundation for him – solid, unwavering, and unchanging.
