Gi-hun opened his eyes slightly, only to be attacked by the sun which was standing right outside of the windows. He quickly put a hand over his eyes, rolling over and spreading his arms and legs over the bed. Burying his face into his partners pillow, he let himself find comfort in the familiar smell. Even while they were going to sleep, In-ho always needed to smell his best. Gi-hun loved that about him, even during insignificant events , like sleeping and eating food, In-ho always looked and smelled his best for his boyfriend. Gi-hun raised his head, looking over at the alarm clock on the bedside table, he squinted slightly, trying to see the time on the clock. 10:23am. Knowing his boyfriend, he would already be up and ready and halfway through his day by now.
grumpily, he got up and walked over to their shared closet, nearly tripping over his pair of slippers. He opened the door to the closet, looking at his vast collection of clothes. he pondered for a minute (not really) before deciding to borrow one of In-ho's favourite hoodies, a light grey one which had the numbers "001 456" printed on the back in gold. Gi-hun smiled at it, even if In-ho didn't want to admit it, his boyfriend was so cheesy sometimes and it was just another thing Gi-hun loved about him. He put it on, making sure to put the hood over his head.
He walked out of their shared bed room, looking at the pictures on the wall as he passed. He stopped at one, their first date. they had gone to a semi-fancy restaurant (Gi-huns treat) and just talked about their life the whole time. Gi-hun got a warm feeling when ever he saw those pictures. it was one of the first times he truly felt loved and wanted by another human being. he had never felt that way before , and it was the best feeling in the world.
taking his eyes off of the pictures, he continued his way down the corridor, walking into the sun filled living room. even though he has lived there for over a year, he still cannot get used to how bright his boyfriend's ( well, their ) house is.
"good morning , sleepy head" a voice practically sang from the kitchen. looking over, he saw In-ho making something in a pan while also setting up the table for the two of them to eat at. walking over, he wrapped his hands around his boyfriends waist, pressing his lips against the back of his neck, leaving soft kisses on his skin. In-ho put the cups down onto the counter before turning around and wrapping his arms around his boyfriends neck. smiling , Gi-hun pulled In-ho into a soft, careful kiss, both of them not wanting to ruin this perfect morning. annoyingly, Gi-hun had to break away from his boyfriends hypnotising kiss , giving him an apologetic peck before speaking
"good morning, baby, what are you making?" a very sleepy Gi-hun whispered, his voice barely above a whisper.
"well, i decided to make us some scrambled eggs and toast. i decided not to make anything too extreme since we have a dinner reservation later" he pressed a kiss against Gi-hun's forehead , "also darling, i left the suit you like on the hanger, it should be near where our coats are"
"thank you In-ho" Gi-hun walked around the counter and sat and the empty chair, before resting his head on his arms. 2 years ago. 2 years ago today they had gotten together. 2 years of just pure love and warmth every day. he really loved In-ho. he was the best thing that had ever happened to him.
no matter what, they would stay together, even if the world wanted them apart, even if the universe wanted them apart, they would stay together. they were meant for eachother. In-ho and Gi-hun , Gi-hun and In-ho.
