It felt wrong to want her more than money right now.
She felt like silk under my fingers, however
She breathed like the sound of rustling dollars, however
She smelt like the most expensive fragrance, however.
So when I looked over the woman in bed next to me I sighed and realized that I would spend every cent on her. Even if she was evil and nothing would compensate me for that. Even if her bounty would set me for life.
Kafka was perfect. The embodiment of wine and fine dining. My undoing. The best sex I would ever have. The woman would kill me, that much I know. The IPC would remind me of how poor of an investment this is.
“good morning” I greeted as I saw her turn to look at me, her eyes were blurry I am sure. Her slender fingers extend to pull my shoulder towards herself.
“Ah same to you” she purred back, “what a honor it is to sleep in your room”
“You know that this is when you should be leaving without a word”
”Ah but what about you then, my dear?” Kafka retorted as she traced from my shoulder to my collar bone, “I am not a woman of rude one night stands.”
”I find that hard to believe”
”not for women like you. Good girls like you are rare in this vast universe.” Kafka sat up now as she spoke, her limbs unfurling from the fetal position she was in.
“I doubt that”
Kafka narrowed her eyes, “tsk tsk, your words cut deep, my dear. Maybe you should stop talking, saying such devious things”
She cupped my face and pulled me closer, her voice soft and scary “I would hate for you to think I would waste time on someone who was anything less than perfection”
That flattery stung, like good whiskey. God I wish I had something witty to retort, but I was putty in her hands. Kafka had me hook line and sinker.
Kafka took a strand of loose red hair, twirling it around her fingers, suddenly tugging a little, “Alright I suppose i should leave.”
I sighed and rolled my eyes a little, “I need you to”
Kafka leaned over and took my chin, “Kiss me goodbye?” Though it felt wrong to call it a question, more of a friendly demand
I leaned over and kissed her. Letting her slink out of my room afterwards to go spur more chaos in the universe.
