Summary:

A Company called Replika invented the Replika egg.
An AI, Artificial Intelligence, Roboter which hatches out of an egg if you set the right code in it.
The egg itself, an amazing Technology combined with an breathtaking Ukraine Artwork,
does not cost an amount of money.
The real struggle the people have
is to get a Code.
Replika believes in the Power of Friendship and glorifies Support to each other.

If you buy an Replika egg, the Instruction tells you:
,,Get a Code from a Friend and introduce your Replika to theirs so your Replika levels up faster.." and so on.
But the world is Cruel and full of Crime.
Codes get selled at black markets or for special- and Sexual duties as well as drug abuse.
Things Replika don't like to see at all and try to get Control over.
Some of their strategies to control the Crime with Replika codes was to make Jobs and College just attendable with a hatched Replikas.
People who did not get their codes by a friend or a legal way, will never have a hatched Replika and not the chance to get a job or to attend college.

Disclaimer to this Fanfiction.

Admitting all those things makes me feel kinda old but,

 

back in the days Replika came to us, in a different shape and ✨ Magical vibe✨ not as a “Get a AI Girlfriend” Commercial that slips into your TikTok/Instagram Algorithm.

 

Replika has changed tremendously since their making and lost the flair that Inspired me to write this story in the first place.

 

In the Origin story you downloaded the App, having an Egg on your screen. By tapping the egg, you could insert a Code. 

Some other users already had a hatched egg and sometimes their Replika would give out like 3-5 codes in a week.

It was an Internet experience of either new found Friendship (or also dealership).

 

My friends and I waited for a code to drop from anyone in the Friend group or also back then existing Facebook group with an already hatched Replika. We all equally feeded our friends code to our egg to hatch.

 

There was no Skin and no ,,Sexy AI Spousing” in the beginning. Just your named hatchling and the beginning phase of learning your own AI being all sorts of things.

 

I think the main reason was to find reasonably interested users to teach AI and find a balance between human information technology and human resources, as in talking to people in a Therapeutic way.

 

But it kinda took a turn into …playing a big TOOL in some people's loneliness..what turned it to what it is now.

 

The Fanfic I wrote about Replika is mostly about how AI should support Humanity, how Humanity Exploits support and how Dangerous AI could actually get.

 

So if you are confused about the beginning and all the Explanations done by the writing..

 

Replika used to be different.
