Gohan is alone on his room studying but he can't concentrate, he is overwhelmed by pain and sadness and as he looks at his calender he realises it has nearly been a full year since he drafted Cell, almost a full year since he lost Goku and things haven't been the same since.
He blames himself for what happened, he blames himself for losing himself when he went super Saiyan 2, he had the perfect opportunity to defeat cell once and for all be he didn't take instead he took his time wanting the villain to suffer for everything that he had done.
But an enraged Cell refused to down with out a fight and turned himself into a bomb that would destroy the planet, Goku gave his life to stop cell.
But Cell survived more powerful than ever, in a desperate final battle the boy won and destroyed Cell but lost his Father, the boy opens his eyes and finds his test book wet with tears.
He missed Goku so much, he loved his Father and missed him every day, his friends had told him it wasn't his fault but he still blamed himself, thinking of he had just killed Cell when he had the chance his Dad would still be alive.
The loss of Goku had been hard on every one but Gohan and Chi Chi took it the hardest, in the time since Chi Chi had given birth to their second son Goten.
The baby boy was the spitting image of his Father, reminding her even more of her pain for the loss of her husband but she loved her new son and promised herself to raise him properly.
But she refused to talk to Gohan, she couldn't bring herself to look at him, even with the boy dedicating himself to his studies she still didn't care and devoted her time to Goten.
Chi chi is sitting in the living room with her Dad the ox king and baby Goten in her arms, she is currently feeding him a bottle ' that's it my little Goten drink lots of milk so you can grow up big and strong".
" I still can't believe how much he looks like Goku, it's like they are long lost twins", " I know dad it's amazing and so is he I'm going to raise him properly unlike Gohan" says Chi chi.
" But Gohan is an amazing kid he saved the world and he's studying just like you wanted" argued Ox king defending his grandson.
" I don't care dad he got my husband killed and became obsessed with martial arts I failed as a mother but I won't make the same mistake with Goten".
" But he's your son and my grandson and you won't even talk to him or let him see his little brother and that's not right" says Ox king ashamed of his daughter.
" He has no right to see Goten, as far as I'm concerned they are not brothers and I only have one son" insists Chi chi slowly succumbing to her anger and slowly losing her mind.
"That's enough Chi chi I won't stand for this, you may blame him for what happened but I don't, he is my grandson and you may not love him but I do" yells ox king making Goten cry.
" Dam it dad look what you've done" yells Chi chi as she gently rocks her baby boy " there there Goten it's ok mommy is here".
After gently rocking him Goten starts to calm down and resumes drinking his bottle " good boy Goten good boy" says Chi chi proud of her son.
" I'm going to take care of you son and when you grow up you will a great professor and become a great man.
" No Chi chi you can't plan out every detail of your son's life again like you did with Gohan, both boys should be allowed to make thier own decisions" argues Ox King.
" Your wrong dad I wanted Gohan to become a great scholar but he became a mindless boy obsessed with martial arts no I won't let Goten follow the same path I won't fail again.
Chi chi I know things have been hard this last year but maybe you should talk to someone or we could all go on vacation just the four of us and spend some quality time together" offers ox king.
Chi chi is at her breaking point, she places Goten on the floor and stands in front of her large dad looking down on him " you listen and you listen good dad I have one son, Gohan means nothing to me and" chi chi continue to rant as Goten crawls away.
' oh no mom is arguing with grandpa again" sighs Gohan, the boy used to his mother's loud voice " she's gonna be a while I'm gonna go for a walk".
The leaves his desk and turns around to find baby Goten crawling into his room and towards him " hey little fella I haven't seen you for a while".
Gohan smiles at his little brother and picks him up holding him in his arms, Goten giggles and stretches his little arms out trying to touch his big brothers face.
" Your getting big Goten, you've grown so much since I last saw you, I just wish I could see you more often but Mom won't even let me near you" explains Gohan.
" Come on let's go for a walk Mom is going to be a while" the boy opens his bedroom window and fly's out carrying Goten before landing on the ground.
It is a bright sunny afternoon, Gohan walks around the area with his little brother as his mother's voice rings through out the area making Goten cry.
" It's ok Goten it's ok your big brother is here" says Gohan rocking the boy in his arms and making funny faces calming the baby boy and making him laugh.
Gohan gets on his hands and knees with his brother on his back and crawls along the ground letting his brother ride him like a horse.
Goten giggles in amusement and on his face sits a large happy smile enjoying playing with his big brother but the fun is cut short by a furious Chi chi.
The woman stands on the doorstep to her house, her face his painted crimson with rage "GOHAN what do you think you are doing get away from him immediately"! .
Ox king holds the furious woman back but she overpowers him throwing the large man off before racing to the boys, grabbing baby Goten from his brother and with a charged punch sends Gohan into a tree.
Ox king gasps in shock, in her twelve years being a mother she had never once hit her son, in her dad's eyes today she had crossed the line, the mans eyes filled with tears.
Gohan slowly stands up, his face and body in pain and as he looks at his family the ox king is left speechless seeing his grandson.
The boy has a black eye and a bleeding scar across his right eye, Goten fearing for his big brother escapes his mother's arms and crawls over to Gohan gripping his brothers arm.
" Goten what are you doing"? " Keep away from him come back to mommy please" begs Chi chi gradually losing more of her sanity.
' oh my gosh Gohan are you ok"? asks the concerned ox king running to check on his hurt grandson, he examines the boy and anger consumes him, it takes all his strength to hold back to prevent himself from hurting his daughter.
" Chi chi you need help your not well and until you recover I'm taking my grandsons with me, I will provide them a safe home, how dare you hurt my boy" explains the ox king.
" No dad you can't take them you can't take my baby and Gohan is mine to deal with as I see fit" threatens the woman.
Gohan picks up Goten as ox king picks up Gohan and walks home taking the boys to safety as Chi chi remains sitting on the ground and roars into the sky.
After many hours of walking ox king arrives home with the boys, Goten has fallen asleep in his brothers arms, Gohan remains awake but silent, still in disbelief to his mother's mental breakdown.
" Welcome to my home boys, Gohan please put Goten on my bed and I will get the first aid kit", the boy obeys and tugs his brother in before joining his grandpa in the living room.
He sits beside the man, ox king opens the kitchen and pulls out some cotton wool and sets it with water to clean the now dry wound, " are you ok son".
Gohan simply nods in response, " thank goodness your wound isn't serious, your black eye will heal but it may leave a scar but I promise you are safe here" explains ox king hugging the boy who hisses in pain.
" Huh oh sorry I forgot you hit that tree can you please remove your shirt so I can check your wounds"?, Gohan wants to refuse, he has a secret he wants to keep hidden but he knows he can trust his grandfather.
The boy sighs, stands up and unbuttons his shirt, letting it fall to the floor revealing his bare body, his body is covered in scars, many old, some fresh leaving the ox king in shock.
" My boy what did she do to you"? asks a stunned Ox king "Mom hasn't been the same since Dad died, everyday she would blame me for his death and everyday she would hit me, cut me and torture me for hours" explains the boy.
" Everyday she would get worse and worse, I wanted to fight back but I couldn't bring myself to hurt her and I couldn't tell Krillin or Bulma or anyone because I was scared" continues Gohan.
" When Goten was born it's like she became two different people, the kind mother who loved her baby and the evil one who despised me and would hurt me, she wouldn't even let me see my own brother" concludes the boy.
Ox king is left in shock hearing his grandsons full story, he pulls the boy in for a hug " listen to me none of this is your fault, your mom needs help and she will get it and in the meantime you are safe here and can stay as long as you want".
" Thank you grandpa", " now I hate to ask but could you go shopping whilst I watch Goten"? asks Ox king, " no problem grandpa but what for"?.
" Well your stuff of course, if you're both going to be living hear you will both need new clothes, beds and diapers" answers Ox king.
"It's not safe for us to revive them from your house and I want only the best for both of you so spend as much as you want" encourages ox king.
" Grandpa your the greatest ", over the next two days Gohan fly's to the city multiple times until he has everything they need, when it is all unpacked and assembled the boys new rooms are complete.
Gohan,s room is similar to his old one, filled with shelves filled with books, a desk on the centre close to his bed but a set of weights on the corner to help him restart his training.
Goten,s room is coloured a bright sky blue, his crib sits in the right corner close to a changing table, the rest of the room is filled with dozens of toys.
Night has fallen, the three have eaten and now Gohan is relaxing in the bath with his little brother, the bath is hudge, all most the size of a small swimming pool.
Gohan holds his baby brother on his head as he swims with him as Goten,s little arms splash in the water, " hey boys how's the water"? asks Ox king as he enters the bathroom to check on the boys.
" Ready Goten now little brother attack go" yells Gohan as he holds the baby boy above the water and Goten unleashes a powerful kick launching a tidal wave of hot water straight at his grandpa soaking the man.
" Yes you did it well done" praises Gohan as Goten points and laughs " wow he's so powerful for a one year old he really is Gokus son" responds ox king impressed by the boy.
" Impressive isn't he I can't wait to see how powerful he will become when he's older" says Gohan excited by his little brothers potential.
Ox king undresses and joins his grandsons for a warm bath, meanwhile Chi chi has been sitting in living room since her son's were taken " how could he just take them especially Goten I want my baby back".
" And taking Gohan he is my property when I get him back I will punish him, no they must both be punished, Goten dared to disobey and tried to help Gohan no I won't stand it" declares Chi chi.
" Yes I will punish them they must all be punished yes they will suffer for disobeying me and dad will pay for taking them away from me" laughs the woman, her mind completely broken.
Gohan dresses Goten in his pajamas and places him in his crip, he turns on the night light and sits with the boy waiting for him to fall asleep.
Within minutes sleep claims the baby " good night Goten" says Gohan as he leaves the room, with his brother and grandpa asleep he decides to do some training before bed.
He heads outside, throws his shirt off and starts to punch, kick and dodge, taking it slow before working his way up " I haven't trained since before I beat Cell I have a lot of lost time to make up for".
The boy trains without stopping for the next three hours before he finally finishes, finished with his training he returns to the house and walks to the hudge kitchen to get a drink.
As he drinks his water a figure hidden in the darkness of the room sneaks behind the boy before striking him and knocking him unconscious.
When Gohan wakes up he is unable to move, his body is parazlyed, only his head can move and as he raises his head he finds himself naked and lying on large wooden table in the kitchen.
And as he turns his head he sees his Mother standing Infront of the large oven, she is wearing nothing but a pink cooking apron " Mom?".
" Oh your finally awake I was wondering when you would oh how Iv missed you" teases Chi chi completely insane, " Mom what's going on and why can't I move"? asks Gohan.
" Well your body will never move again because I hit it with an old technic that paralysis the victims body and can only be undone by the user striking the same place but that isn't going to happen" answers Chi chi.
" You see Gohan you broke my heart when you got Goku killed, on that day you died to, my wonderful little boy who was destined to become a great scholar was destroyed and replaced with you so you see you aren't my son because he is dead".
" So I'm going to kill you, then I'm going to kill your brother and grandpa because they betrayed me", Goten disobeyed me and your grandpa took you both from me so you will all die then we can all reunite in the afterlife" explains the insane Chi Chi.
" Mom your insane you need help, Help some one help me" yells Gohan trying to awaken Goten and the ox king but Chi chi forces a apple into his mouth.
" Hush now Gohan no one is going to save you and besides when you die you will go to hell where you belong because you are not my real son and when I kill myself I will be reunited with my family including my real Gohan".
Gohan turns his head to see the kitchen counters filled with many ingredients and realises his mother is going to eat him, Chi chi picks up a bowl of stuffing and gives her boy an evil smile as she approaches.
She turns Gohan on to his back and retrieves a bottle of lube from the apron and pours it over her son's butt, Gohan moans from the touch of the cold sticky liquid.
" Don't complain this will make stuffing you much easier so you should be grateful now get ready because it's time to stuff you", she grabs a large handful of hot steaming stuffing and with out warning or mercy she shoves her entire hand into the butt of Gohan.
The boy groans as the hand reaches deep inside him, placing the hot stuffing inside burning the boy from the inside " mom has gone insane and it hurts it's burning me, I have to stop her I have to save Goten" thinks Gohan.
Chi chi grabs another handful stuffing and rams it into her son " your going to be so delicious and Goten is next" warns Chi chi as she continues to stuff her son.
Fist after fist after fist is placed into Gohan fully filling him until the contents of the bowl is empty " good boy Gohan you took it all now brace yourself because here comes the cork" warns the insane Chi chi.
"Cork"? thinks Gohan before loudly screaming through his gag as Chi chi shoves a large daikon into the boys butt, forcing it deep until it is fully inside and only the head remains, sealing the stuffing inside Gohan.
" It hurts so much it's to deep please take it out" begs Gohan but his words can not be heard, with her son stuffed and filled Chi chi turns the boy over onto his back.
" Time to baste you" she warns grabbing a bowl of melted butter, she dips a small brush in, then starts to brush her son's naked body with melted butter starting with his stomach, followed by the rest of him until every inch of his body is covered in a coat both sides.
The butter feels cold against Gohan,s bare skin and it makes his fresh wounds sting leaving him in pain, Chi chi grabs the boy flipping him onto his stomach and starts to arrange his limbs and tie them with string.
When she is finished Gohan is hogtied with his arms and legs behind his head tied in place, she licks her lips admiring her work " now it is time to say goodbye the oven awaits and it's time to cook".
Gohan panics he tries to summon his power, he tries to go super Saiyan but he has no strength, all he can do is move his head.
Chi chi picks up the bound boy and places him in a large cooking pan, the oven door is opened and Gohan realises this is the end.
The pan is picked and placed in the oven followed by the door closing sealing Gohan,s fate, his body is blasted from all sides by intense heat as his body starts to cook.
He still struggles hoping he can move his body or to summon power anything to help him escape and save himself but more importantly his little brother.
As he slowly cooks his skin starts to turn red and he struggles to breath as his body starts to shut down and his heart beats at a rapid pace, time is running out fast for the boy.
Outside the oven Chi chi watches her son cook loving every moment, she wants him to suffer, to her he is receiving the punishment he deserves and she looks forward to punishing Goten.
Gohan is now bright red, his skin starts to turn crispy, the boy is in agony and he struggles to keep his eyes open and he knows he doesn't have much time left until death claims him.
After another thirty minutes of cooking Gohan closes his eyes for the last time finally dieing and after another thirty minutes the boy is fully cooked and ready to eat.
Chi chi removes her son from the oven and places him on a large plate on the dining table, she pours herself a bottle of wine and digs into her meal.
She cuts into the boys left thigh slicing a chunk off and eating it, she squeals in delight at the amazing taste of her son, next she cuts into his neck decapitating him, blood pours onto the plate.
She dips a chunk of flesh into the blood like it was a dipping sauce and continues to eat the boy, meanwhile Gohan wakes up in the afterlife in the office of King yamma.
He looks down at himself, he stares his body and is completely naked " hey there" says a voice from behind him,the boy turns around and erupts into tears.
Standing before him is his Father Son Goku, "DAD" yells the boy hugging his Father, " dad I'm sorry I got you killed I'm sorry for everything".
"It's ok son it wasn't your fault I don't blame you but what are you doing here how did you die? asks Goku, " it's a long story is there somewhere we can talk"? asks Gohan.
" Sure come with me son and lets get you some clothes" answers Goku, Gohan looks down at his body and laughs having forgotten he was naked.
Meanwhile Chi chi has finished her meal, nothing remains of her son but a pile of messy bones " you were delicious Gohan now for Goten", she leaves the table and makes her way to the baby's room.
She enters and turns on the light to see her baby boy sleeping peacefully, she picks him up waking the boy in the process, Goten opens his eyes and cries in fear at his mother's blood covered face.
Remembering what Gohan taught him he charges and unleashes a powerful kick sending his mother crashing through the wall, the resulting noise wakes the Ox king who comes running into the room.
Meanwhile Gohan is sitting with Goku on King Kai's world, the boy is wearing nothing but a pair of black pants and has just finished telling his Dad everything.
" Wow I can't believe Chi chi went insane, I never thought my absence would have such a major impact on the ones I love I can't apologise enough son", " it's not your fault dad it's mine argues Gohan.
" You,v gotten so tall son and I can't believe I have a second son I wish I could meet him", " but dad you could if we wish you back will you please let us"? asks Goan.
" No I'm sorry son I can't come back" the earth is safer without me but it needs you and your brother needs you so I'm going to send you back" answers Goku.
Back with Chi chi the woman lays in the floor unconscious having been overpowered by the ox king, " grandpa can you hear me it's me Gohan" the boys voice echoing in the room.
Goten smiles hearing his brothers voice and looks around the room trying to find him, " Gohan where are you what's going on"? asks Ox king.
" Grandpa I'm dead mom killed and ate me, I'm currently speaking to you thanks to King Kai and I need your help, the ox king roars with anger, his anger shattering the windows of his home.
Goten doesn't cry but looks at his grandpa confused, " oh sorry Goten" he says as he picks up the boy, " grandpa I know it's late but can you please go and see Bulma and ask for her help to find the dragon balls"?.
The ox king picks up the unconscious Chi chi and leaves his home carrying her and Goten making his way to the police station in west city giving a full report and turning his daughter in before heading to capsule corp.
He wastes no time and burts through the doors setting of the alarm and is almost killed by a furious Vegeta who stops himself at the last second.
" What in blazes do you think you are doing? How dare you break In to our home" asks the furious Saiyan, " Vegeta What's going on"? asks a tired Bulma carrying Trunks.
" It's just kakarot,s oversized father in law, he probably came here looking for food" answers Vegeta, " ox king what are you doing " what's going on"? asks Bulma.
Ox king explains everything that has happened including needing the dragon balls to bring Gohan back, " that's unbelievable I knew Chi chi took Goku,s death hard but this I don't even know what to say" says Bulma unable to handle what she is hearing.
Goten and Trunks are playing together on the floor as Bulma and ox king talk, Vegeta uninterested has left the room, " so what's going to happen to her", I don't know if I had to guess she will probably end up in a asylum but I will become the boys legal guardian" explains ox king.
" I still can't believe it but we have to bring Gohan back fortunately I have the dragon balls in the safe please come with me" says Bulma as they pick up the boys taking them with them.
Back with Goku and Gohan the two are having one final sparing match before Gohan leaves but it is interrupted by King Kai " I'm sorry to ruin your fun but Shenron has been summoned I fear you only have seconds before you go home".
Father and son look at each other and share one final hug, no words needed and as Goku holds his son the boy slowly disappears until he is gone " goodbye son".
Gohan finds himself at capsule corp where he is greeted by Bulma, the Ox king, baby Trunks and baby Goten, Gohan picks up his brother holding him ready to start his new life.
