Kayn sat on the couch looking at his phone. “Hey Kayn are you ready for tonight?” Sett asked sitting next to him. “I said not to mention it out loud as Ez might be around.” Sett smiled at him. “You know you seem pretty nervous about this entire ordeal, Ez loves you and I am positive he won’t say no to you Kayn.” Sett said trying to reassure him. “Say no about what?” Ezreal said coming into the living room. “To go out tonight do you wanna?” Ezreal perked up at that. “Oh where are we going and what should I wear?” Kayn smiled at how excited his boyfriend got when they were able to go out together it was adorable. “Wear something you don’t mind getting wet or sandy. We are going to the beach.” Ezreal looked at him confused. “Then shouldn’t I wear a bathing suit?” Kayn smiled at him. “Not for dinner in a restaurant.” Ezreal hummed then kissed his head walking up the stairs to go get ready for their date.
“Well no matter what I wish you luck, I am sure he will say yes Kayn.” Sett said patting his shoulder and walked up stairs. Kayn used his shadow magic and went to his room and pulled out the ring box he kept hidden. He opened the black velvet box and looked at the ring inside. It had a diamond in the middle of an oval and it was in a fairy style. “Your down bad for Bunny aren’t you.” “Its not like you aren’t either Rhaast.” He put it back into his nightstand and laid down in his bed making sure the restaurant reservation was still good. It was which put him at ease. He was still nervous about what he was about to do, the rest of the band knew about it as well as KDA due to his sister Akali telling the girls. They were the ones that were gonna be setting up the things and getting the set up ready for when they get there. Kayn just hoped Ezreal would say Yes.
Ezreal was panicking looking for clothes as some of his clothes have gotten a bit smaller on him which was totally normal. Ezreal sighed and took in a deep breath letting it out to calm himself he looked over to the bathroom sink seeing the test there. He hasn’t looked at it even though his alarm went off for it he was just nervous, didn’t know how his boyfriend would react if he was. Ezreal found a dark purple jumper and placed it on his bed and took out dark brown heeled sandals. He then looked back to the test again he walked over to it hands shaking. “Ez are you alright?” Yone asked walking into the room. “I am good just making sure that I am ready for my date with Kayn is all why what’s up.” Yone took his hands in his and held them. “You are shaking. What’s wrong?” Ezreal shook his head. “I can’t tell you right now because Kayn should be the first one to know about it.” Yone nodded his head. “Alright then if that will make you feel better then tell Kayn what you want him to know.” Ezreal shook his head again. “I can’t at least not yet, I need to check first and then I will tell him.” Yone sighed then let go of the youngers hands. “Alright whatever you think is right for you to do you do it.” Yone said as he left the room.
Ezreal sighed and looked back at the test he had he took it in his hands and flipped it around to find a pink plus sign. He smiled to himself and held it to his chest. He was pregnant. He hoped Kayn would be happy as much as he was. He started to tear up a bit from how happy he was. “How am I going to tell Kayn he is going to be a dad.”
Kayn looked at himself in the mirror he was wearing a black dress shirt as well as nice dress pants that he made sure could be folded up. He then styled his hair and made sure it looked good before putting in his earrings. He then took the out the ring box and put it inside his pocket. Ezreal messaged him saying he would meet him downstairs. Kayn smiled and fidgeted with the box. He walked downstairs. K’sante gave him a smile and slid a note over to him.
Breath you got this.
Kayn smiled and huffed out a nervous laugh. He gave him a thumbs up and slid the note back to him. He leaned against the counter waiting for his boyfriend. He texted the group chat and told them they were about to leave and how he was just waiting for Ezreal. Soon he heard footsteps coming down the stairs. He looked up and saw his boyfriend in a beautiful dark purple jumper and he just looked so amazing Kayn walked up to him and took his hand kissing the back of his. “You look amazing.” Ezreal smiled and blushed a bit from the affection he received. “Thanks Kayn you are looking as handsome as ever.” He chuckled at that as they took their leave. He opened the passenger door for Ezreal and closed it for him. He then sent the text letting them all know it was time. He started to drive to the restaurant and noticed Ezreal was fidgeting. “You have something on your mind Princess?” Ezreal looked at him and smiled. “Not really just feel a bit bare on my hands and wrists is all. Didn’t want to wear anything that could get lost.” Kayn smiled a little. He then took Ezreal’s hand in his. “You can fidget with my rings then beautiful.” Ezreal smiled and did that while caressing his hand. Kayn knew deep down that Ezreal was keeping something from him but he wasn’t going to push it. It was early as the sun hasn’t set yet. He parked the car and he opened Ezreal’s side helping him out. They got to their seats and Ezreal saw out the window looking out over the ocean.
“So is there a reason why you wanted to make sure I was comfortable with getting sandy?” Kayn smiled and gestured towards the ocean. “After we eat I was thinking of taking a walk on the beach. If you want that is.” Ezreal beamed at this and nodded his head. “Heck yeah I do that seems like fun.” Kayn chuckled at his reaction it was adorable. They got their food and shared it as Ezreal was still dieting when he was told not to but it surprised Kayn to see him skipping out on the wine. After they ate they left the restaurant and went down the stairs to the beach. They took off their shoes and rolled up their pants. “Was there a reason you didn’t get any wine?” Ezreal looked at him. “I don’t drink as much as you mister and I don’t like wine that much you know this.” Kayn nodded his head as this was true. “Yeah but you usually take a sip of mine to see if you’d like it and it was a wine I know you haven’t tasted.” Kayn said holding his hand as they walked towards the water. “You really are curious today aren’t you.” Ezreal said a smile forming on his face. “When have I ever not been curious to learn more about you.”
“I will let you in on a secret later tonight.” Kayn wasn’t pleased with that and Ezreal giggled a bit and pulled him down to kiss his cheek. “It isn’t anything bad it is a surprise I have for you and I am nervous on how to tell you.” Kayn looked at him confused. “Your making me scared princess.” Ezreal sighed. “I will tell you eventually come on I wanna find sea shells.” Kayn sighed and nodded his head they continued to walk hand in hand. “Soooo, this surprise will I have a good reaction or a bad one?” Ezreal smiled and shrugged. “Depends how you take the news.” “I don’t like where this is leading to.” “Rhaast said he doesn’t like where this is leading to.” Ezreal leaned against his shoulder and squeezed his hand. “I am sure you will have a good reaction at least I hope you will.” That made Kayn think more about what Ezreal was saying, he was afraid of his reaction which meant it had something to do with Ezreal or their relationship. Well now Kayn was even more nervous.
He saw up ahead where they finished setting up the thing as the sun was setting creating a pretty view over the ocean making Ezreal stop and stare out. “This is perfect, thank you for taking me out tonight. You are the best boyfriend ever.” Ezreal looked up at him and Kayn smiled pulling him into a gentle kiss. “Thank you for being you and trusting me to make you happy.” Ezreal smiled and leaned into his hand that was placed on his cheek. They then looked back to the sunset. They then continued to walk. “Hey Kayn what is that thing glowing over there.” Ezreal pointed to the spot and Kayn smiled. “I don’t know wanna check it out?” Ezreal smiled nodding his head. “Heck yeah another adventure.” Kayn smiled as they walked he fiddled with the box in his pocket and went over what he was going to say. He looked down at his boyfriend who was walking with a bright smile on his face.
Kayn learned to love that smile and everything Ezreal had to offer to him. He made sure Ezreal felt comfortable every step of their relationship and he knew a few months back that he wanted to continue to wake up with him next to him see him smile to him first thing in the morning. Even wanting to grow old watching the man he loved grow with him. He never wanted to have Ezreal leave him and he wanted Ezreal to himself he wanted to show him how to be loved and how much he loved him. He wanted to stay by him in bad times and wanted to be the reason he was able to smile. He loved his smile. He loved the way Ezreal’s ADHD had him do things he enjoyed it when he found something new to peek his interest and he will explain it to him trying to tell him everything about the game. He also liked how Ezreal couldn’t sit still unless he had something to fidget with and that is why Kayn gave him quiet fidget toys and one of those was a ring he coud spin. Kayn also wore one because Ezreal tends to forget things when his mind is all over the place. He enjoyed every moment he got with the other. He hoped he could get more moments like those, that he will cherish as much as he cherishes Ezreal.
They were close enough to see what the glowing letters spelled out. There was a rose heart as well as a rose walk way to get to the center of ther heart. Ezreal stopped in his tracks. “Kayn this is a marriage proposal I don’t think we should disturb anything.” Ezreal pulled his hand towards him a little bit making Kayn smile. “Come on Princess. I know your smart enough to figure this out.” Kayn lead him to the center of the heart making Ezreal stutter a bit with what he was saying. “Breath princess.” Ezreal smacked his chest. “You are not doing what I think you are doing.” Kayn huffed out a laugh and looked at him. Taking the ring out of his pocket opening it, kneeling down, and taking his left hand in his. “If I am?” Ezreal covered his mouth and squeezed his hand. “Kayn no way are you joking with me right now?” “I don’t think so Ezreal I know what I want. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to keep seeing you smile. I want to watch you grow more as a person and I want to see you at your best and at your worst. I want to make you more to me and I want us to be more. Ezreal you are the love of my life and I want to spend every waking moment with you, Will you make me the happiest man and marry me?”
Ezreal was an emotional wreck and the pregnancy hormones weren’t helping at all. He started to bawl his eyes out. “A-Are you being S-serious?” Kayn stood up and kissed his forehead. “Yes I am being serious beautiful. Are you doing alright?” Ezreal laughed a bit. “I am totally fine I wasn’t expecting this at all and I am being super emotional about this, when I shouldn’t be. God I am a mess.” Kayn laughed a bit at Ezreal overthinking and saying it out loud, he does it when he is nervous. Kayn thinks it is adorable. “Take all the time you need Ez-.” “First off don’t say that we will be here for a long time.” Ezreal tried to stop crying he really did. “Okay hold on my brain is all over the place.” Kayn smiled watching him he was fanning himself and trying to calm down. “Ez do you need a second to-.” “Yes.” “What?” Ezreal grabbed Kayn’s face and pulled him in for a passionate kiss. He pulled apart and looked at him his forehead resting against his. “Yes Kayn, I will marry you.” Kayn smiled and kissed him again, he placed the ring on his finger and hugged him. They heard cheers around them. “I am so glad we all caught that on video.” Evelynn said as she looked at them. “You gotta be kidding me.” Ezreal said pulling away from Kayn. He was shocked all of their friends were there. Kayn’s Parents were there as well as his sister. “H-How did you-?” “Who do you think set it up?” Alune said putting her phone away.
“You guys were all in on this?!” Everyone laughed at Ezreal’s reaction. They all gave their congrats to the couple. As Ezreal and Kayn were walking back to the car, Ezreal couldn’t stop playing with the ring on his finger. “How long have you been planning this?” Kayn smiled.”Few Months ago why do you ask?” Ezreal thought for a moment. “I don’t think I made you realize a few months ago that you wanted to marry me Shieda Kayn.” “Oh you want to know what made me want to marry you is that it?” Ezreal nodded his head making Kayn smile and kiss his head. “You were laying in bed with me and you were makin’ that cute face you make when you are concentrating on something, you won and did you little dance, then you smiled at me. That is when I knew I wanted you to marry me.” Ezreal squeezed his hand. “You cheesy bastard.” “What you wanted an answer I gave you it.” “That’s why you wanted to marry me was because of me doing that.” “Yeah why wouldn’t I? It represents who you are and I love every part of you.” He pulled their intertwined hands up and kissed Ezreal’s hand.
“Let’s get home since you said you have a surprise for me.” Kayn and Ezreal got to the car and Kayn helped Ezreal inside and they drove back to the house. “I hope you have a good reaction to what your about to see.” Kayn placed his hand on Ezreal’s thigh. “Whatever it is I am sure I will have a good reaction. If it is coming from you I am sure I will love it.” Once they arrived home they got there before the rest of the band came back. Ezreal got out of the car and took Kayn’s hands. They got to the front door and Ezreal opened it then turned to Kayn. “I need you to close your eyes.” Kayn was confused. “Ez-.” “Please Kayn.” He sighed and did what he was told Ezreal got him inside without any problem. “Stay there don’t move and don’t open your eyes.” He heard him go up stairs and come back down. “Hold out your hands.” Kayn did that and felt something being placed inside them. “Open your eyes.” Kayn looked at the box in his hands and then back up at his Fiance. “Do you want me to open it.” Ezreal looked at him making Kayn chuckle he opened it. He looked at what was in the box and saw a pink plus sign on it as well as two symbols next to it saying positive and Negative. “Your positive for what exactly?” “ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW KAYN!” He flinched and held his head. “Do you actually not know what it is?” Ezreal asked a small smile was on his face. I shook my head. “It’s a test of sorts.” Ezreal said the smile never leaving his features. “Earth to dumbass, what the fuck does it look like to you.” “A pregnancy test.” “Which means what?” “Your pregnant.” Ezreal laughed a bit and nodded his head Kayn smiled picking him up and spun around. “How far along are you, when did you find out? Holy shit I am gonna be a dad.” Ezreal was laughing at his reaction. “I am so happy you are excited about this as much as I am.” “Why wouldn’t I be we are having a family together I get to raise a child with you. We are having a baby I cannot believe this.” Ezreal grabbed his face to ground him. “Believe it Kayn we are going to be parents. To answer your questions no I don’t know how far along I am and I found out this afternoon.”
“We are going to be parents. Were gonna be a family.” Kayn said kissing his fiance again. “Yes we are and I wouldn’t want it any other way.” “I love you Ezreal.” “I love you more Shieda Kayn.”
