Dear Olympvs, your challenge to try and account for Hoshi and the skeleton in this MV was so intriguing, I started trying to work out what story could flow from it, and suddenly I had this fic :D I hope you have as much fun reading as I did writing and Happy Holidays!

Drawing from the music video, this story takes place in an unspecified desert setting - it didn't merit either 'fantasy' or 'sci fi' tags, but this isn't our world or time.

This story was recorded for halotolerant as part of Fandom Trumps Hate 2024. I also used Voiceteam 2024 as the impetus to push myself to get it done - recording and editing the story as part of the challenge HELLO STRANGER. The challenge states:

Create a Dear Podficcer letter [a letter used to define your ideal gift in a podfic exchange], or look at your Dear Podficcer letter if you already have one. Then make an audio fanwork that would be a perfect fit for yourself based on the letter.

This story is definitely one that PERFECTLY fits my specifications for an ideal gift!!

What do you do when you see that someone whose writing you adore has bid on you during Fandom Trumps Hate??? You squeal delightedly into your pillow, is what!! At least, that's what I did -- and then you try not to sound like a babbling idiot when you thank them and discuss the details. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

That said, this story was a delight to record and edit! I had so much fun with it, with Hoshi pining over his husband and acting out to try to get his attention, and Jihoon pining over his husband and doing his best to both set boundaries but also take care of him. I hope that you enjoyed my rendition of it!!
