Wonwoo is sitting on the couch responding to comments on weverse when he hears the telltale beeping of the password being punched into the doors keypad. A few moments pass before he hears the door being opened.
“Honey, I’m home!!” echoes through the quiet apartment.
As footsteps approach, he sets his phone onto the couch next to him.
“Did you miss me?” his boyfriend jokes as he walks towards the couch.
“I missed you terribly Min” he jokes back in an exaggerated tone, outstretching his arms towards his boyfriend.
Mingyu crashes right into his arms causing him to let out a small grunt. As Mingyu snuggles closer he places a kiss on the top of Mingyu’s head.
“The trip wasn’t the same without you” Mingyu pouts, “I spent the whole time missing you and wishing you were there with me.”
“I wish I could’ve gone with you as well, but I really needed those few days to rest and go visit my family.”
Mingyu pouts again but places a small peck on Wonwoo’s lips as he looks up at him. “Next time I go on a trip you’re coming with me whether you like it or not.”
Wonwoo lets out a little chuckle before he responds, “sounds like a deal.”
Mingyu snuggles in closer and they continue their cuddle session before Wonwoo eventually speaks up.
“As much as I would love to continue to snuggle, I need to eat something before my stomach starts eating itself” he says while he runs his fingers through Mingyu’s hair.
“We don’t want that to happen now do we” Mingyu giggles, “what would you like to eat?”
“I can make us some samgyeopsal and ramen if you want” Wonwoo suggests.
“After what happened last time you tried to cook? I think it’s safer to just order takeout.”
Wonwoo smacks him in a teasing manner, “I’ll have you know I am a great cook, I was just distracted by someone last time which caused the food to burn” he says with a pointed look.
“Yea right, I think it’s safer you stay out of the kitchen from now on” Mingyu says as he pulls his phone out to start ordering their food.
“Yea yea, just hurry up and order the food” Wonwoo responds while rolling his eyes.
When Mingyu finishes ordering the food he puts his phone away and snuggles closer to Wonwoo once again.
They continue to lay in silence just enjoying each other’s company while they wait for their food to be delivered.
When they hear the knock on the door indicating that their food has arrived, Mingyu begrudgingly gets up to go grab the food and start setting the table.
While he’s setting the table and taking out their food, he feels a pair of arms snake around his waist.
“Clingy today aren’t we?” he giggles.
“Just missed you” Wonwoo mumbles into his back.
When he’s finished setting everything out, he pries the hands from around his waist and pulls out a chair for each of them. He pulls Wonwoo’s chair as close as he can to ensure that no space is left between them.
Mingyu tells Wonwoo all about his trip to LA with Joshua while they’re eating and Wonwoo attentively listens with a small smile on his lips. After Mingyu finishes recapping his trip, Wonwoo tells him about his trip back home to visit his family, and all of the funny stories about Seol.
When they’re done eating, they both cleanup before retreating to their bedroom to end the night.
They wash up together in the bathroom before making their way to the bed to cuddle once more.
“I missed this the most while I was gone” Mingyu whispers.
“What, sleeping?” Wonwoo jokes.
“No, love, I missed getting to snuggle with you before falling asleep” Mingyu responds while lightly pinching him.
“You’re such a hopeless romantic did you know that” Wonwoo says before placing a kiss on Mingyu’s lips.
“Only when it comes to you” Mingyu winks at him.
Wonwoo rolls his eyes before leaning back in and capturing Mingyu’s lips in another kiss.
They continue to whisper sweet nothings to each other as sleep slowly takes over their bodies.
Mingyu is the first to fall asleep, and as soon as Wonwoo notices he whispers “I’m a hopeless romantic for you too” before slowly drifting off to sleep with a smile on his face.
