Summary:
After Severus Snape almost dies following a meeting with an increasingly unstable Lord Voldemort, Dumbledore decides that he needs some live in assistance in case it happens again...
Set in seventh year so Hermione is seventeen, but in this au the time turner time puts her, for all intents and purposes, at around eighteen.

Okay, so this is the first fanfic I've ever written for this pairing, and due to the unhinged amount of talent in this fandom I've never been more nervous to post something HOWEVER I am actually obsessed with them, and I can't seem to stop myself from writing this, so here we are haha. Any feedback, good or bad, would be greatly appreciated!
At the moment, it's looking like it will be about twenty chapters, and I'm planning to post a chapter a week every Tuesday until it's done! The story is rated M for now, but it will change to explicit at some point - I'll call any rating changes out in the author notes <3
