Work Text:
Tom walked right out the door, crumpled leaves everywhere. All dried. The air was cold, gentle breeze picking up some leaves off the ground, thrown in Tom's face. Tom sighed, walking down the sidewalk, the leaves crunching under his shoes. Tom looked up at the sky, clouds covering every inch of blue above. Only gray.
Tom sighed again. The autumn smell was calming. The smell of crisp leaves, dying branches, and cold dirt,
Tom looked up, seeing a truck just swerving, hitting the sides of cars and knocking mailboxes down.
Tom stared, the truck getting closer in sight. It looked like a red Ford, a wheel missing, and it looked completely destroyed. Nearly enough to burst out in flames. Tom blinked, just staring at the truck. The truck suddenly swerved again, heading right to the house, crashing into the wall. The guy driving jumped out, the truck bursting out in flames. Tom stared at the car and the house, noticing Tord was the guy driving. Tord just laid on the ground, not moving.
