Summary:

I replayed Persona 4 Golden on PC recently, and reached the accomplice ending (again).
It reminded me of why the accomplice ending holds such a huge space in my heart.
Twisted, eerie but definitely one to remember.
I thought to myself, how does the future look like for Adachi and Yu, after the accomplice ending?
And this is a piece of work that reflects a figment of my conjecture.

This piece was not supposed to take *this long* but I forgot to bring my iPad back to Taiwan so I couldn’t work on this for 3 weeks straight 🤡

Anyway my husband recently bought P4G since it got ported over to PC and we played together. Man, the accomplice ending (which didn’t exist in P4, the only version I played in 2010?) is so twisted and really satisfies my inner Adashu fan girl 💀

I wanted to make the marks on Yu golden to symbolize kintsugi more directly, but making everything sepia and red kinda resonate with the implications of the accomplice ending, too.

不健全さが漂う共犯エンドって本当にオイシイでした。おそらく共依存に入ってるのか、どっちもダメ人間な感じがなんとも。

特に悠くんのほうね。一生治れないトラウマを抱え、空っぽの器になってて、足立はその虛無を災厄で「直す」…そのまま終焉を待つ。

ああ共犯者エンド本当にありがとう…足主にハマって幸せだ…かなり重症だな…
