Work Header

I was bored, and kinda horny; figured I’d pick up a devil

Summary:

Quanxi hunts down the Cosmos Devil in a university, only to discover it’s actually a fiend. A cute one too.

Notes:

This takes place before Quanxi met Tsugihagi, in case you’re wondering why she’s not mentioned.

And if you’re fandom-blind, yes, Cosmo really does talk like that in canon.

Additional Warning: I didn’t think it warrants a tag (I’m not sure if people even usually give a warning for this?), but there’s a 100 word scene where Quanxi smokes. It starts at the first scene-break line and ends with the next one, so you can skip it if you’re uncomfortable with depictions of smoking.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Quanxi prowled the dark building with dao blades in hand, moving like an arrow through the air; fast, but silent.

She’d been told the Cosmos Devil had attacked and settled down in a university, causing students and faculty to go mad.

But all she really needed to know was that the pay for hunting it down was good.

Pingtsi and Long had wanted to search the other rooms; Quanxi agreed, on the condition that they run if the devil seemed strong. She’d hate to see her girls all scratched up, or dead. While they were capable of fending for themselves to an extent—easily able to take down humans, lesser devils, or other fiends—a fight with a full devil was more than she wanted to risk. In the worst case, Long was to start a fire as a distraction to let them escape.

Quanxi passed through the doorway to the observatory—what more likely place could a Cosmos Devil appear on Earth?—and a disheveled student stumbled into her path, leading her to guard with her blade.

“Ha-Halloween!” he shouted, twitching and jerking about wildly. “Halloween! Halloween!”

Damn it; so much for catching them by surprise… Everyone unaffected had been evacuated hours before she was sent here, but those who remained were a possible threat.

“Halloweeeeeen…” voices groaned from ahead. Some shouted, some muttered, but all the same word, with no pattern or reason to it.

Peering into the room, it seemed none of them paid her any mind or came closer. The student in front of her didn’t make any moves either, even though he could definitely see her.

She watched him carefully as he went on past her, before lowering her guard and stepping inside.

There was something broken in their minds, but they seemed harmless, rather than being puppets ready to pounce on her.

A couple of bodies lay across the floor; puddles of blood pooled on the floor from bite-marks. Small, so perhaps it was only a fiend.

The fact that she hadn’t seen a single person outside this room yet was a good sign; either they were all in here originally as the devil attacked, or they’d converged in this room afterwards—either way, chances were good that Cosmos was somewhere here.

Quanxi circled the room, keeping close to the shadows beside walls or desks as cover. Scattered papers crunched under her boots. Keeping quiet wasn’t as important, now that crazed shouts of ‘Halloween’ masked her footsteps; if the devil could somehow hear her over them, then lighter footsteps wouldn’t help.

But search as she might, the devil was nowhere to be found. Not by the telescope that was the centerpiece of the observatory; not in any corner of the room; not up at the glass ceiling exposing the night sky. The stars were more visible than she would expect in the city, forming swirling trails of light, but that was it.

Shit. The obvious answer was eliminated, so now she’d have to search the old-fashioned, slow way; checking each room one by one.

She sighed. It was going to be a long night.

After an hour of finding nothing—not even more victims of the devil’s power roving around—a break felt in order.

Quanxi leaned against the wall of one of the classrooms. She clicked her lighter on and held the flame against the end of a cigarette, which crackled and took on a dim glow. A shame Long wasn’t here; she always looked so cute when Quanxi had her light it up with a puff of her breath.

She took a drag of the cigarette, letting the hazy, warm ache prickle her throat and lungs before blowing it all back out.

Why couldn’t these devils have the decency to show up quickly so she could kill them and go back home, spend the night with her girls? So inconsiderate.

After burning through and stomping out her smoke into the floor, Quanxi’s next destination was the library.

She pushed the swinging door open and took a look inside. The only illumination was from the moonlight shining through the windows, onto the many bookshelves and wooden floor. To her right was an empty desk where the librarian would normally reside, and in the middle of the room, several rows of tall shelves, blocking her from seeing the room.

She stepped inside. There were no ‘Halloween’ obsessed in here, but then, the devil wasn’t in the one room that did have them, was it?

Walking down an aisle, she idly glanced over the bookshelves, not that the devil was likely able to fit in one as a hiding place.

Like any good library was supposed to be, it was quiet. Boring. She’d rather listen to Pingtsi’s cute voice rain endless trivia in her ear; listen to Long’s husky purrs when she clung close to Quanxi, huddling her for warmth even though Long was the warmest of the trio. Better still, she could pin Long against a wall and suck marks into her pale little neck, while Pingtsi latched her mouth and eel’s mouth on a nipple each…

A warmth brewed in Quanxi’s gut; like the glow of one of her cigarettes. She wanted to see and hear her precious, pretty girls squirm; wanted to feel them writhe; feel with her fingers; lips; tongue; legs; abdomen…

Leafing through Pingtsi’s folds would be a lot more fun than the folds of any book in this room. Nothing in here would say Quanxi’s name, or whine that she’s being a tease; the books wouldn’t whimper and lean into her tapping, swirling fingers; they wouldn’t drip and scream for her…

Her grip on her dao tightened for a second, and she frowned in disappointment. Why the hell did she let them split off to do their own search? Now she was thinking about them, and when she thought about her women, she wanted to fuck them until they were messed up for the rest of the day. She needed their drenched pussies on her mouth—to see them become useless, limp bodies on her bed, huddling up in her arms with debauched, lusty smiles after she ate their brains out.

Pingtsi’s chatter made it all the more satisfying to break her words every night. Long’s hugs felt better when they were tight out of need for Quanxi to stop teasing her slit with the strapon already and put it in.

Quanxi’s steps became the slightest bit harsher and more impatient. She wasn’t distracted enough to possibly lose, but still; the sooner she got the over with, the sooner she could go back home with her girls.

She rounded a corner, wet and hungry, and saw something unexpected; a young woman with bright pink hair facing the bookshelf, dressed in an orange t-shirt and a pair of short jeans. She had a thick tome in her hands.

“Halloween,” the woman said calmly, turning to Quanxi, revealing a cute face with large eyes containing heart-shaped pupils. And her brains dangling out of the right side of her skull.

A fiend, formed from one of the former students? Should be easy to handle.

Quanxi tilted her head. Easy on the eyes too. She looked like Quanxi’s type: pretty; shorter than her; a touch of inhumanity; would look cute rutting on Quanxi’s leg.

The fiend’s eyes widened—the right one slipped out of its socket and hung by by a string of nerves—and her mouth opened, letting out a sigh of foggy air as she stared. She looked outright mesmerized for a moment, before forcing a more neutral and curious expression.

Quanxi smiled, and suppressed a chuckle. I want to keep her.

The government wouldn’t complain so long as she neutralized the threat. For their best devil hunter, there were concessions and bent rules.

If the fiend was interested—which Quanxi suspected she might be, by the way her eye literally popped out at the sight of her—then she could be subdued the fun way.

Quanxi sheathed her blades and took a step forward with a sly smile. “Hey there.”

“Halloween,” she replied plainly.

“Do you have a name, pretty girl? I can’t just call you ‘fiend’, can I?”

Meanwhile, all Quanxi could imagine was what a gorgeous sight she’d make, limbs tangled with her other girls, or bent over an all fours, waiting her her fingers…

Her cheeks took on a little red color, and left eye flicked away from meeting Quanxi’s; the right eye continued to dangle out of its socket. “H-Halloween.”

Aww; she was shy. Delicious.

“Hm. You can’t say anything else, can you?”

She shook her head. “Halloween.”

“Well, how about I give you a name?” Quanxi had never named anyone before, but it couldn’t be that hard; something simple. “Cosmo.” Fucking lazy, but she never put effort into anything she didn’t have to. “How does that sound?”

“Halloween…” she murmured, putting a finger to her cheek in thought. She gave a satisfied grin and nodded. “… Halloween.”

Quanxi smiled. “Good. Now then, Cosmo. I was sent to hunt you for causing trouble here, but I don’t think either of us want that.” She stepped closer. “I wouldn’t want to have to hurt a pretty girl like you. Maybe we can solve this another way.”

Cosmo tilted her head ponderously. “Halloween?” she suggested, tracing a squiggly pattern on the cover of her book with her finger. It looked like mimicking a signature. Was she suggesting a contract?

Devils did tend to be transactional. Playing along would be fine, for now.

“You want a contract?” She loomed over the girl, and planted a palm against the bookshelf. The fiend’s eye went to Quanxi’s bare bicep, and Quanxi recognized the look of girl trying not to seem like she was staring, in admiration or otherwise. This was one area of life where ignorance was not bliss; knowing when a cute girl wanted you, and was making an adorable effort to hide that desire.

“Hallow…” Cosmo trailed off, breathing deeply through her mouth.

“I have an idea for one, Cosmo.” Quanxi leaned down, letting her whispers ghost across Cosmo’s ear. “How about you come home with me and my other girls. Pour some wine, have a little fun? You like having fun, sweetheart?”

Cosmo’s own breaths came quicker now, almost panting. Her otherwise pallid cheeks glowed, and she met Quanxi’s eye. “Halloween.”

Sounds like a yes to me.

She closed the distance to Cosmo’s lips. She kept the kiss soft at first, but far from chaste; Quanxi did not do ‘chaste’. She pressed deeply, pushing Cosmo against the shelf, tongue exploring the fiend’s mouth hungrily, and sucking at her bottom lip. A couple of books toppled to the ground, one of them from Cosmo’s hand.

Cosmo kissed back in an strange way—sloppy and awkward, but with intent. Quanxi could only describe the effort as an expert with no practice; a virgin who had studied, but was nonetheless inexperienced.

Quanxi was happy to help fix that. She pried her mouth away and smirked as Cosmo’s tried to follow; Quanxi teased the fiend by letting their lips brush together, before diving back in full force.

Messy, low groans filled the air; mostly Quanxi’s. The cute pants for air were all Cosmo.

If there had been any doubts about Cosmo, they were gone now. She was as eager and precious as any of Quanxi’s other girls; much like Long, she tried to nibble Quanxi’s lower lip; like Pingtsi, her legs tried to buckle under the dizzy energy of the kiss.

God, Quanxi had needed this. How long had it been, since she last made love to one of her girls? How many hours?

Too many.

She worked a hand under Cosmos’ shirt to have her first feel of the fiend’s bare breasts; she squeezed the handful of flesh, then traced circles until she reached the center, where she pinched a nipple between her fingers. She loved how the girl squirmed into that touch.

Quanxi needed to taste and feel out as much as she could. So, sadly, she would have to leave the titties for later.

She slipped her hand past the waistband of Cosmo’s shorts and panties in one motion; there was a wet heat; nearly as wet as herself. She dipped inside to moisten her fingers, but took the chance to feel out her warm inner walls while she was at it.

“Already wet for me, are you, baby?” Quanxi breathed close to her ear. “I’d almost think you knew this would happen.”

Cosmo shuddered at the feathery, gentle touches on her nub from Quanxi’s slick fingers. “Haaa-lloo…”

She made such base, primal sounds as Quanxi toyed with her—breathy and adorable. Fingers slid up and down to gather up more wetness from her leaking slit and trace circles over her folds.

Quanxi slotted Cosmo’s delicate nub between two fingers, and lightly shook side to side, to which Cosmo turned into absolute putty and melted into a shaky moan, winding her hips forward impatiently.

“Ever felt anything like this before?”

Cosmo shook her head. “H-Hal— H-Halloween…”

Quanxi hooked her fingers inside, and curled them to massage against her the roof of her cunt, relishing how the fiend’s thighs tried—and failed—to snap together, and how her inner walls squeezed on her. Quanxi smirked and did it again, grinding her slick and work-calloused palm on Cosmo’s clit at the same time.

She repeated the action, again and again, and the devil sang for her; all the same word, but still. So damn beautiful; the squirming in place, struggling to stand, trying to cling to her…

Quanxi wanted to see more.

“I think that’s enough of that,” she teased, pulling her fingers out much to the mumbled protest of Cosmo. Before leaving her panties, Quanxi teased her clit with another quick rub.

The fiend looked almost offended. “Halloween!”

“Easy, girl,” Quanxi purred, comforting the needy devil with a pat on the head. For a second she wondered if those exposed brains were sensitive, but decided not to explore that today. “I can do even better if you let me get those off you. Will you let me do that for you?”

That got an eager, compliant nod. Good; Quanxi liked her girls cooperative.

In a flash, she lifted up the fiend in her arms and made her way back to the desk by the library entrance, kissing her all the way.

She set Cosmo down on the table, who hastily unbuttoned the shorts, while Quanxi untied and pulled off her shoes, followed by the fucking shorts she had half a mind to cut through instead.

Underneath, the devil wore a simple orange pair of panties, with a dark, wet stain on the front, like Quanxi’s probably had too. Quanxi slipped her fingers underneath the panties from a side angle, feeling those folds again. Hot, sticky, and soft. Fuck, she couldn’t wait to taste her.

She tore the panties off; she’d buy Cosmo as many new pairs as she wanted, and rip off as many as she wanted.

And there Cosmo was; exposed, pink, glistening, shaven, delicious. Large, pronounced labia perfect for Quanxi to suck on, and an engorged, throbbing clit to do the same to. She was in the process pulling off her shirt, which was certainly the right decision, because Quanxi intended to make her sweat.

After Cosmo took off her shirt and bra, Quanxi went for another kiss, meanwhile slowly swirling a thumb against Cosmo’s soaked clit. She moaned into Quanxi’s mouth, as intended.

Quanxi took her fingers away and slowly crawled down the fiend’s body, tongue dragging across her stomach—she had to taste every part of her at some point. She swirled around the navel, and traveled further below.

She thought Cosmo might actually hit her when she paused to plant a deep, sucking kiss on her abdomen, above her pubic bone, but she couldn’t help it; she liked teasing her partners.

Quanxi reached the drenched junction between her legs and licked her lips. She stared into the heart-shapes eyes of her trembling fiend, panting with anticipation. “You look perfect, sweetheart. I’ll bet you taste even better.” She put her hands on either leg and spread them further. “Just let me take care of you now, hm?”

“H-Hallo—”

“Shush.” Quanxi smirked at her, leaning closer. Her own breath faltered and shuddered as she inhaled the scent of the soaked pussy deeply, before whispering the last words, breath ghosting over her cunt: “We’re in a library.”

She latched her mouth over the clit first, slurping it between her lips to relieve some of the poor girl’s neediness. She loved the way those hips rocked against her mouth, and the way she cried out that same meaningless word as before. With clit still between her lips, she flicked her tongue over it, feeling over the slick hood. She was right—tasted perfect, with a juicy acidic tang and musk.

Having hopefully made the building need even worse for Cosmo, Quanxi lapped at her folds, teasing out more wetness, soft wet noises, and gasps.

Quanxi lingered at her cunt, brushing her tongue against Cosmo’s clit whenever she wanted to hear a gasp or huff; or to see that head roll back in pleasure, she could gently nibble it through her lips.

She ate the fiend’s cunt like Pingtsi ate candy—hungry and demanding, tongue roaming to lick up everything she could, and wishing she’d never run out, or have to stop to breathe.

She refocused her mouth’s efforts on Cosmo’s puffy clit and left her fingers the task of teasing her wet insides; the fingers met some resistance from Cosmo’s fluttering muscles, but that didn’t last; she pushed two fingers inside her tight, heated cunt, and rubbed them against the upper walls where it was spongy and sensitive.

Cosmo wrapped her legs around Quanxi’s neck and cried out in desperation, “Haaalloweeeen!”

Quanxi smirked and left a messy wet kiss on her cunt, and moved away just enough to ask an un-muffled question. “Tell me, how does that feel, sweetheart?” she asked, immediately flicking the bulging nub and nibbling on it again, just to make sure sure the fiend couldn’t answer coherently.

“H-Halloween!” Cosmo cried out. “Halloween Halloween Halloween…”

“Mm,” Quanxi hummed into her folds, and pulled back again, keeping her fingers busy massaging the most sensitive spot inside the fiend. “That’s what I thought. I’ll make you cum the rest of your brains out.”

Cosmo was getting close, Quanxi could tell; she was rutting into Quanxi’s slender fingers and gripping her hair tightly enough to hurt. Her legs grew taut, squeezing the sides of Quanxi’s head and quivering, and her breath came in fits and starts.

“Halloween Halloween Halloween…”

Quanxi circled her tongue around Cosmo’s clit, encouraging the buildup to her first orgasm. She pumped her fingers inside a little faster, feeling the telltale pulsing of Cosmo’s inner walls. Her sweet moans were getting louder and more frequent…

“Halloween Halloween Halloween…”

Her whole body shuddered and crushed down with a pressure that would kill an ordinary human.

“Halloweeen!” she cried out, body convulsing and cunt fluttering on Quanxi’s fingers. She moaned incoherently between gasps, as if she thought she was dying—Pingtsi told her that’s what it felt like the first time Quanxi fucked her. Honestly, if she ever actually killed someone this way, Quanxi would take it as a mark of pride for the rest of her life.

God fucking damn it, nothing felt better to Quanxi right now than that hot, pulsing squeeze of muscle around her fingers; nothing tasted better than the flow of juices she caught on her tongue as she kissed and suckled on her newest pet’s folds; nothing sounded better than the mixture of the wet smacks of her fingers with the shaky breaths of the fiend.

“H-Hallo, Hal—” Cosmo warbled, falling back on the desk. She shivering as her breath slowed down, and her grip on Quanxi’s hair loosened. “Halloween…” she whimpered, defeated.

Quanxi pulled her fingers out—leaving sticky strands connecting her fingers together, but kept nuzzling at the fiend’s labia with her lips for the better part of a minute. She only stopped when Cosmo tugged her head away.

Quanxi didn’t bother cleaning her mouth. Unless one counted licking up the juices around her lips as ‘cleaning’.

“You okay there?” Quanxi looked at the fiend, and she was a beautiful mess. Drooling, sweat glazing every inch of her skin, and her eyelids drooped, struggling to stay open in her fucked-out bliss…

Exactly how she was meant to look.

“Ha…llow…eeeen,” Cosmo chirped, reaching out her arms. It looked like that took all the energy she had left.

Quanxi pulled on the arms to lift her into an upright sitting position leaning over Quanxi’s shoulder, and hugged her. They stayed there for several minutes, letting the fiend have a chance to catch her breath.

“I can make you feel like that every day,” Quanxi said, fingers curling through the fiend’s bright pink hair. “The higher-ups won’t try to have you hunted either, as long as you behave.”

Cosmo seemed to understand, and nodded. “Halloween. Halloween.”

The undecipherable speech would take some getting used to, but Quanxi was familiar with adjusting; Pingtsi and Long both truly embodied the word ‘fiend’ when she first met them, and they still did to an extent. Devils would always be unruly, but Quanxi liked them that way.

She hefted Cosmo up into her arms, abandoning her old clothes. They wouldn’t be needed tonight, and in the morning she could borrow something of Pingtsi’s.

“We’d better go find my other girls. They should be nearly done searching by now. I’ll introduce you to them. Sound good?”

Cosmo grinned into Quanxi’s shoulder and weakly pumped her fist into the air. “Halloween!…”

Notes:

Happy Halloween! Thank you for reading!

This, uh, didn’t turn out quite as planned. IMO it needs a bit more cooking, but I wanted to get this out on Halloween, and foolishly put off writing it until far too late.

I’ll be editing the fic to add an extra section out at some point (not as a new chapter; it’ll still be a oneshot), so you can look out for the wordcount increasing drastically.

Sorry in advance, and I'm definitely going to start writing fics for special days/events like this months beforehand now, because staying up late to write for deadlines... No, not happening again.

Update 18th Jan 2025: Fear not, I haven't forgotten this! Have fixed one glaring problem, and will complete the fic this month.
