Chapter Text
Cellbit hated today.
He fucking hated it.
Hate was a strong word, he could hear bad’s voice ringing through his memory, but no day like his own could be described as something less bitter.
He was oddly uncoordinated today, slipping and unable to grasp his glider in time which led him in the wrong direction, or falling on his bad leg. Dragging on with mobs circling him as he retrieved discarded items, a habit he cursed himself for, leaving too many important resources out in the open.
Grumbling with releif, he sagged into the uncomfortable bench alongside his chests of resources, left to be organzied in the morning, all he could think of was finally being able to go home and being with roier. He blamed his lack of coffee, it wasn't right to drink out of a different mug.
Fidgeting with his teleportation device, the smooth surface was appealing to slide his fingers over, he liked the cool feeling of gemstone.. Settling his nerves, recalling his morning, much more peaceful than the day had become.
“I’ll be at work finishing up late tonight, so you might get home before me.” The mexican commented, stuffing his inventory with remaining makeup and accessories he had scattered about, the cat hybrid watched his husband with an amused smile.
“Alright.” He mused, sipping his coffee, the other muttering curses, digging through bags, before finally walking up to his husband with a grin. “Adios, gatinho.” His stomach swirled with butterflies, tail swaying, “Adios, guapito.”
Kissing his husbands cheek, melting at the soft scratch behind his ears, roier planted his own love upon his lovers cheek. Leaving the house empty.
“The club..” He mumbled aloud, trying to remember the name, before he felt his stomach sway and surroundings crumble away. “No- MIERDA!” Gagging, body unexpectedly launching into the portal of transportation, he heaved.
Cellbit always, always, ALWAYS, had to prepare himself for the sickening ride of teleportation, but now, oh no, he was already there! Stomach sick, ears ringing, his cat hybrid body twitching and frazzled, he whimpered and crumbled.
Bleary, multicolour light, he shuddered and clung closer to.. A jacket? Not forcing himself to intake so much at once, his ear flicked against the material, he was leaning against a coat rack, the music of the well known establishment blasting in his ears.
Stumbling back, his ears ring and body grows numb, forcing his body to get the hell out of there one step at a time. It wasnt fair, he was so tired, everything was so tiring. But, he needed out, outside, away from here, anywhere else but stuck here where it's loud and bright and smells rancid and horrible and-
Bursting out of the exit, hot streaks running down his cheeks, he whimpered and shook his head away from the gross, warm, feeling, stumbling further, to who knows where, he was lost and alone and he wanted to be alone but now he hated it and he was so so scared.
Air punched out of his lungs, his body ached, comrepending the tripping fall before he could comprehend stumbling into the grass. He hurt, sore and aching at the comforting weight of his usual bag and clothes being disrupted, burning against his skin, the contents of his bag emptying everywhere.
Nothing was getting better, he could nearly debate if staying in that noisy room would be better than his current fate, but fuck, his throat was hoarse from soemhting, was he sobbing? Wailing? He didn’t know, he didn’t know anything right now.
He hated the feeling, but he felt more warm, less frail, and god he needed that. The blanket soaking warmth into him, he ached for more, but to move was a death wish, throat buzzing.
Time felt so dull, not slow, not fast, he felt stuck, unable to comprehend his usual senses, and just reliant on a blanket, a warmth, all he could cling to.
He wanted to know what was going on, if someone was there, what to do, but all he could comprehend was an increasing darkness, unconsciousness taking him by sudden force. Out of breath and limp
“Mierda..” Roier cursed, wobbling barefoot along the trampled grass bordering the forest, heels held in one hand, wig in the other while trying to keep track of the fallen silhouette which his husband resigned to.
Sliding down the soaked grass, a past storm leading way to a cold sunset he knew a frail man like his lover couldnt handle, he landed beside the cat hybrid. The man was stuck shaking, grabbing at his clothes and sobbing pathetically, roiers heart broke for the man he cared so much for.
Opening his inventory, he quickly crafted a blanket, desperate to cover the fragile, cold skin. He was going to do anything he could to get him safe and home before dark.
Bleary, warm light, he shuddered and clung closer to.. Blankets? Not forcing himself to intake so much at once, his ear flicked against the material, he was in his bed, in roiers home.
“You’re awake, gatito.” The spider-hybrid cooed, settling closer, he grabs for the older with a whine, he was scared, and he couldn't see, but he was safe.
Warm arms enveloped him, curling close to the mexicans chest in security. Pets along his head and back grounding him, keeping him down to earth, able to leave behind the days stress and panic for once. Sighing, he slumped from his strain of composing himself, and instead felt a rumbling purr grow in his chest.
Body heavy, sensed exhausted and borderline miserable, he could now let himself fall into the rest he needed, knowing his husband was there to take care of him. Nudging his face against the spider-hybrids chest three times, to show I love you. Tilting his head upwards, blearily blinking as his instincts craved to show the affection of trust and love, a low purr began in his chest. I love you, i love you, i love you, i love you, i love you- His heart roared.
“Awe, gatinho..” Roier left three chaste kisses to his forehead, smoothing the hair along his head to resign in its proper spots, he purred in earnest. Finally, finally able to allow his brain to rest, curling into the warm blankets and rubbing his cheek against his husbands arm. Tail curling around the mexicans leg, snuggling closer, practically trying to become one with his warmth, if he could, he would stay in this warm, euphoric state forever.
Slowly, his eyelids weighed down with exhaustion, body slump against his husbands own, his body willingly slipped asleep. A proper end to his day.
