Adam adjusts his grip on the hand in his, feeling his palms grow sweaty. He can’t tell if it’s from nerves he can’t really feel or whether he’s just been holding his hand too long. For the past 20 minutes he hasn’t spoken a word, brain urging him to speak up and ask if this was even okay. Lawrence had always been put off PDA, he hated people seeing him be that way with his partner. Adam on the other hand loved it. If he could get away with it, if Lawrence wouldn’t level him with unimpressed looks all the time, he would be all over his boyfriend. He wouldn’t care who saw, wouldn’t care what anyone else thought about them. Adam just wants to be near the one he loves, doing what he loves.
With a thick gulp of the excess saliva in his mouth and a quick clear of his throat, Adam speaks up.
“Lawrence?” His hand squeezes gently against the larger one. “Are you okay with this?” He doesn't chance a look, but if he did, he would see his boyfriends eyes filled with a heart aching fondness.
“This is okay, Adam.” Adam can help a barely there pout of his lips as Lawrence doesn't use a pet name for him. Baby steps. “This is okay…”
