A little list before we start the series, some disclaimers I couldn’t fit in the summary are in order:
There will be no plot elements from the Steven Universe show. Way too much happens in these books in order for me to properly inject the story of a similarly complicated TV show into it. So, there will be no cluster. No Homeworld. No crystal gems. (But, gems as a species, are still gonna be a thing. They’re just going to be not prevalent. Sorry if you were excited for that.) it’s just going to be Steven.
Scavengers are still considered prey, and many dragons are going to attempt to eat Steven. But, he is going to be capable of speaking dragon. (Largely because he grew up around dragons) But, there aren’t going to be many (any) scavenger characters aside from Flower.
Steven is going to be injected into scenes where he can do the most/change thing’s significantly. That way, I’m not just rehashing the books except Steven’s there doing nothing, and boring everyone.
Steven’s probably going to be renamed Quartz bc… come on, this era doesn’t have that name yet.
Steven is going to be considered a sibling to the dragonets, by the dragonets. Because I love found families, and it will be wholesome.
Finally, there is no update schedule for this series. I’ll add to it when I’m capable, and if it doesn’t hurt me.
