Chapter Text

Macaque would look around frantically, trying to figure out where Monkey King was. Everything was misty and blurry, hard to see. Macaque would hear something behind him, whooshing and sprinting as he twitched a set of his ears, quickly turning around. Once he was fully turned around he felt a sharp pain in his right eye. He let out a large shriek of pain and terror as he tried to cover the blood rushing down his face, feeling as if tears were there instead. His blindness forced him to fall into darkness.

Sun Wukong would look down upon Macaque, horrified by what he had just done. Macaque would be on the ground, screeching in pain. Wukong dropped down to Macaque, attempting to lift him up. Wukong became more and more horrified as well as disgusted when he stared at Macaque's right eye, all bloody and broken. Wukong would pick Macaque up bride style. He would summon his cloud to fly off to flower fruit mountain. Macaque's blood would start to stain both their fur and clothes, and Macaque was bleeding out fast.

Once they got to Wukong’s house he swiftly threw Macaque onto his couch, he would start rummaging to find medical supplies. The monkeys of the flower fruit mountain started to surround the house, trying to figure out where the smell of blood and death was coming from. Sun Wukong would start to treat Macaque’s eye. Soaking alcohol onto a thick rag, dabbing the rag onto the dried-up eye. Macaque would let out blood-curdling screams of pain. Attempting to yank Wukongs arm away, failing miserably.

“Shh” Wukong tried to force Macaque down, hushing him as Macaque was moving around like an eel on land.

Wukong would hurriedly wrap a bandage tightly around Macaque's eye, tying the bandage around his head. “Your ok bud,” Wukong spoke in a slight whisper as he gently ruffled the top of Macaque's head, lifting himself to his feet. He watched Macaque slowly pass out in those moments, from both pain and exhaustion.
