Omegaverse.

Notes:

Hey everyone and welcome to Speechless! This is my first fic for Seraph of the End, but I recently watched the anime for the first time (and I'm now starting the manga and the light novels so forgive me for NOT knowing everything)! I saw Guren Ichinose and immediately said HIM. Just to start, this does divert away from canon starting at Guren's capture at the hands of Crowley! It will ignore the Seraph of the End experiment that happened at Nagoya Airport!

Massive trigger warning! This is dead dove and will contain serious/dark topics that could be triggering. Please be cautious while reading this fic! If anything dark such as Rape/Non-Con will effect you, please turn around!

For those who are staying, I hope you enjoy! On with the fic!

Chapter 1: The Capture of the Lieutenant Colonel Guren Ichinose

Chapter Text

It had always been a suicide mission. Guren knew that. The pain blistered in his shoulder, his blood pooling over the wound and down his arm and torso. He attempted to ignore the pain, but he knew this was the end. This was it. If the others escaped, that’s all that mattered to him.

The Omega wheezed, gritting his teeth for a second. He braced his hands on the floor, ignoring the taste of the blood in his mouth. He stared daggers at Crowley. The vampire – from what Guren could tell, reeked of Alpha pheromones, which didn’t bode well for him – was smirking. Toying with him.

The others got away. That’s all that mattered to him. His hands were bound behind his back. The bindings bit harshly into his wrists despite the sleeves that he was wearing. It was tolerable. It was more annoying than anything. All that mattered to him was that his comrades managed to escape. His family was away from here. Their focus was on him.

He couldn’t stand on his feet easily. Bring drug along by those disgusting blood suckers. The Omega grunted as he was thrown into the floor, unable to catch himself. His face smacked the floor, almost bringing tears to his eyes involuntarily.

They wanted information from him, and he wasn’t about to give it. They’d have to kill him first. The blood loss was already getting to him. It was making the world spin around him that he could barely catch their questions as it was. Each hit that they gave to his body. Jerking his head back by his hair. It was like his body was on autopilot. He was a soldier. He was not meant to break.

Chess – he believed he heard that one blonde vampire call her – gripped at his hair. Her own Beta pheromones coming off of her in waves. With his state, his mind was swimming from the various scents and pheromones lingering in the air. He heaved as his head was wrenched back even more; her fingers curled harder into his hair. The hair was trying to rip from the roots, but she was being gentle in a way.

“He’s an important hostage, so be sure to handle him with care.” Crowley stated.

Chess agreed with the other do, going to let go of his hair when she suddenly halted. Guren gasped as the loud crash erupted in the room. His eyes widened as the dust and debris settled away and Yuuichirou had already moved to attack.

The attack was blocked by Crowley as he got between Yuuichirou and Chess. Crowley made a noise, humming softly as he said, “Now what kind of power is this?”

“You bastard.” Yuuichirou hissed, “Give Guren back!”

Yuu… don’t.

Guren was helpless to do anything in that moment. Watching as Yuuichirou struck towards Crowley and the vampire easily held him off. Guren’s heart was pounding in his chest. The silent plea for the young Omega to just leave. What did the idiot do? Why did he come back? He had strict orders to get out.

Yuuichirou wasn’t giving up. Crowley had stepped up his game too. With each strike that he saw, Guren felt his heart stopping as he watched on. Guren managed to find the strength in him as he got himself back to his feet and crossed the room, getting between Crowley and Yuuichirou just in time.

Crowley had noticed, stopping just millimeters away from taking his head clean off. “Whew. That was close.” The vampire mused. That smile still settled on his face that made Guren uneasy.

The only thing on Guren’s mind was protect.

He had to protect Yuuichirou and get him out of here.

Again.

“Why did you come? Get the hell out of here!” Guren snapped.

Listen, Yuu. Just go.

“But why?” Yuuichirou whispered, “I’ve come this far. How is it possible that I still don’t have enough power to save you?”

“Because you’re human.” Crowley teased. “You’re nothing more than our livestock.”

Behind him, Yuuichirou gasped, muttering out, “That’s not true.”

“You can fight all you want, kid.” Crowley continued. “But you could never defeat a noble like me.”

“Shut your mouth.” Guren gritted his teeth as he noticed. The anger that was laced in Yuuichirou’s voice. His demon was trying to take over. Guren’s noise twitched. Thankfully, he wasn’t picking up any of the Omega pheromones off of the young teenager. The vampires hadn’t noticed yet. That was good.

“The only reason you exist is to feed us. To serve our every whim and make us—”

“Shut up!”

With that, the fight started again as Yuuichirou jumped over him and attacked the Vampire Noble again. The Omega could see it in the other’s eyes. He was losing control. This wasn’t good.

“You gotta stop, Yuu!” Guren tried, “If you don’t the demon will take over and you’ll lose control!” His focus wasn’t even on the vampires anymore. It was calming Yuuichirou down. Everything in him screamed to reach out to him. Attempt to calm his fears.

“A demon, huh?” Crowley hummed, kicking Yuuichirou and kicking the boy away.

Guren felt his heart skip a beat again as he jerked forward to run towards the teenager. “Run, Yuu!” He was stopped as Chess and Horn landed beside him, slamming him down into the floor by his shoulders. He winced as he managed to get his head up, hissing out, “Get out of here now!”

“Shut up already!” Yuuichirou growled, “I’m gonna save you!”

“Damnit, Yuu!” Guren snapped back, “I told you there’s no hope for me!”

“Don’t you dare give up!” The young Omega retorted, grabbing ahold of his sword, and preparing to face off against Crowley again. “Remember. You are the one who told me to keep on living, and I’ve finally found the person who needs my help!”

“This young one is special to you, huh.” Horn murmured, “How sweet.”

Guren ignored her, instead calling out to Yuuichirou again. Even as the boy struggled against Crowley, he still kept trying to get back to his feet.

Guren’s throat was dry. He couldn’t keep watching this as Yuuichirou and Crowley swapped words. “I have enough power to protect my whole family!” Yuuichirou screamed.

“Don’t! Stop! Don’t do this, Yuu!” Guren pleaded. He couldn’t keep watching this. Yuuichirou just needed to leave. He had to get out of his here. His family was in danger and there was nothing that the Omega could do. Guren could only kneel there helplessly as he watched the boy get consumed. He was going to keep ignoring him. Guren knew that. “No! Stop it! That’s an order! It will just consume you!”

Guren gasped as he watched it happen. The sweet boy that he knew becoming a demon. He couldn’t let Yuuichirou end up like him. Before Yuuichirou could do anything, Guren noticed him.

“Kimizuki!” Guren gasped.

He felt the relief going through him as he noticed what the Alpha boy was doing. Kimizuki crossed the room, getting to Yuuichirou as he activated one of his special abilities. Ensnaring Yuuichirou into a cursed coffin as the Shinoa Squad managed to organize their escape.

The Omega could have cried in relief by seeing them manage to escape again.

Those idiots… Guren thought as his gaze fell on the hole in the floor.

“Listen up team! This is my last command!” Guren shouted, “Get out of here without dying and complete your mission! Now!”

With his final order given, he sighed in relief.

Take care of them, Shinya…

Shinya would keep them safe. Guren had no doubts about that. As the dust started to settle again, Crowley turned to him, the smirk growing a bit bigger on his face. “Well, wasn’t that something, Lieutenant Colonel Guren.” The Omega’s stomach curled in disgust from hearing his rank roll off of the vampire’s tongue. He cast a glare, balling his fists within their restraints. “That boy is special to you. Humans and their selfish desires. So greedy.”

Crowley moved forward, sheathing his sword back into place as he stood tall over where Guren was kneeled. The two women’s hands were still on his shoulders, keeping him planted in place as he heaved.

“Leave them alone.” Guren growled.

Crowley just continued to smirk. “I still need to get answers out of you.” The vampire reached out, pulling Guren up by the front of his jacket before he suddenly paused. He blinked for a second as Guren felt the air catch in his throat. Suddenly, Crowley was laughing. An amused one as he used his other hand to jerk at Guren’s jacket and shirt.

Guren’s eyes widened as he reached what the vampire was pulling at it. He jerked his head, kicking his feet in vain as he shouted, “No!”

His jacket was jerked away from him, revealing his neck to the vampire, but also showing the patch that was there. “No wonder you gave off no scent. Humans always have some of the strongest when it comes to our kind.” Crowley mused, “You’re wearing a scent patch.” Guren struggled more, but he knew it was worthless. He was overpowered and he knew it. The Omega could feel his breathing pick up as his feet were placed back on the floor. “Ladies, keep ahold of his arms.”

“Yes, Lord Crowley.” Chess and Horn replied in an instant and he could feel their strong grip wrapping around his already bound wrists. Even as he struggled, it didn’t matter. He wasn’t going to be able to get out of it.

Crowley didn’t say anything again, but gripped at his throat and chin and forced his head to the side to reveal more of his neck to the vampire. The Noble’s other hand came up, jerking at the patch as Guren’s true scent erupted from the confinement of the patch. “Well, I’ll be damned.” Crowley chuckled, “This soldier is an Omega.

Guren’s stomach dropped as the vampire leaned in, his nose swiping over the gland that was there. “Back off!” The Omega growled, throwing his head forward and managing to clock Crowley in the chin. It only made the pain blister in his own head as his hair was gripped once more and his head was forced backwards.

“Don’t you dare defy Lord Crowley, livestock.” Chess growled.

Still, Crowley just looked amused at the entire situation. The two women were pressed in his back, chins hooked on his shoulders as they looked over at the Thirteenth Progenitor. “This just got even better, ladies.”

Omegas were rare in their post-apocalyptic world. Guren could probably count in the fifties alone just how many there were that he knew of. Even fewer within the ranks of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. Those who did fight were required to wear specialized scent patches to mask their pheromones from the vampires and their sharp senses. There was something about the smell of an Omega’s blood and their pheromones that had a hold over a vampire. It also made the vampire more dangerous. It was a strange phenomenon that no one could explain. At least, he didn’t know what it was.

Seeing Crowley and these two keep such good holds of themselves terrified him. Making his heart race as Crowley’s nose buried into his neck again.

“What do you want us to do, Lord Crowley?” Chess questioned, the amusement in her voice as her fingers danced over the bindings on Guren’s wrists.

“We’re going to break him, of course.” Crowley stated as he pulled away. There was like a shimmer in Crowley’s eyes. A feral-ness that hadn’t been there before. “They say that the defiance of an Omega is far greater than anyone else. Their excessive need to be loyal and care for others even at the cost of their own likelihoods.” Guren tried to jerk away as Crowley leaned in. The vampire was too close for comfort as his heart pounded in his chest. Racing harshly as Crowley’s grip tightened. “We will see what Queen Krul wants us to do. Until then, you are our plaything.”

“I’m no such thing.” Guren growled, gasping slightly as Crowley’s free hand reached out, grabbing at the curve of his ass. Sharpened nails digging into the clothed skin as he was jerked forward. Within a blink of an eye, he was thrown to the floor face first again. His ass up in the air with a hand on the back of his head. “Get your filthy hands off of me!”

“You think those humans would have kept you locked away to become their breeding stock.” Crowley stated, chuckling for a second as he draped himself over Guren’s back. “I was already planning on having a bit of fun with you in order to get you to break but finding out this little secret… those fools will have no choice but to come back for you. Right? Omegas are supposedly a treasured species among the humans.” Crowley continued to chuckle. A low rumble in his chest. “Luckily for you, they are to vampires too. Now that the patch is off your neck, I can smell your true scent.”

Crowley wasn’t wrong. Due to the nature of an Omega and their ability to bear and have children, they were wanted to attempt to start rebuilding the human population. Vampires liked having them too from what he knew. Carried fresh livestock for them.

Vampires have no emotions. They aren’t even supposed to have a sexual desire. Just the desire for blood. That alone should have been his saving grace, but apparently that wasn’t the case. Vampires shouldn’t be able to derive any pleasure from a sexual act.

It disgusted him.

Crowley’s hand was moving, still just curling around the upper parts of his thigh. The vampires had their own sets of laws. He didn’t know if this was against it, but until today, he had no idea that a vampire would even think of this.

“It’s alright, livestock.” Crowley purred, “Just calm down.”

“Get off of me, asshole!” He tried again, jerking at his arms, but once again it was only in vain. “Vampires can’t feel emotions, so there’s no need for you to do such a thing to me. You get absolutely nothing from this!” Guren highly doubted that he would be able to talk his way out of this. He knew the vampire had him. Even the two women looked pleased with the thought.

For them, it wasn’t the sexual act itself.

It was the pain that Guren would feel from it.

There felt like no use in attempting to plea his way out. That might just cause them to want to do it that much more for the entertainment.

It didn’t matter what they did to him.

He wouldn’t break.

“It’s such a mundane act, isn’t it?” Crowley murmured, nipping at the revealed space under his ear and to his neck. “Humans are the ones who really like to take another against their will. An Omega human is much safer in the grasp of a vampire. They typically won’t tear them apart like greedy human scum would. An Omega would be completely treasured by us. Why don’t you just tell us what you know, and we’ll show mercy on you.”

Guren gasped as Crowley rolled his hips against his backside, causing the Omega to bite down on his lip. “Then you don’t have to do this.” Guren gasped, ignoring the feeling of his own body starting to betray him from the stimulation. His hips were pressed down into the floor, his legs pinned into place as he grunted. He heaved again. Trying to ignore just how hard his heart was pounding or the feeling of fear going through him.

“I can smell it on you.” Crowley continued, ignoring him, “Vampires don’t feel gratification. You’re not wrong, but humans do. What would your kind think if they found out you were taken by a vampire? Have you ever done this before?” Guren chose to ignore his questioning, trying to will his body to stop. “I’ve heard that an Omega’s blood is the sweetest thing a vampire could drink. Even more than the pleasure that one can derive from feeding from another vampire. Omega vampires are prized for that reason. Every vampire they’ve ever sired happen to be some of the strongest. What is it about Omegas, huh?”

“Get the hell off of me, you bastard.” Guren hissed, gasping as Crowley pulled back slightly, his head still planted on the back of his head but forcing his head more to the side to reveal his scent gland and bare neck.

“You’re not marked.” Crowley mused, “Don’t they typically make Omegas submit to someone before they put you on the battlefield? Tame the beast inside?”

He wasn’t wrong. There were only a few of them who weren’t. Guren included. He couldn’t find it in himself to allow himself to be marked. Shinya had agreed. Allowing Guren to move at his own pace.

“Your blood smells so delicious.” Crowley murmured. “I’m sure the Queen would love this little development.”

Guren could feel the tears of frustration as he jerked at his arms. Chess and Horn had placed their hands back on his shoulders, keeping him pinned in place. “Lord Crowley?”

Crowley pulled back a bit more, lifting up and allowing his legs free. He attempted to kick, jerking back to send his leg back but the Vampire Noble caught it easily. It only seemed to amuse him more seeing Guren’s feeble attempts at trying to keep this from happening.

“Tell us what you know, and I’ll stop.” Crowley stated. “How did the humans gain so much power so quickly?”

Guren shook his head, squeezing his eyes shut. He could barely breathe properly through his panic. He would never tell them a thing. He didn’t want this to happen, but it looked like it was inevitable at this point. He was at these vampires’ mercy.

“Found it lying around.” Guren stated, smirking a bit in feign confidence as he managed to cock his head a bit to the side to send a glance back at the vampire.

Crowley just tilted his head, humming as he said, “Horn.” He didn’t even have to give the order as the vampire used his still free hand to jerk up Guren’s hips and starting to jerk at his pants and underwear. Guren felt the air catch in his throat as the panic set in more. He jerked his bound arms, trying helplessly to grasp at his pants. Crowley’s raw strength proved superior as he couldn’t hold onto the fabric. Horn had reached underneath Crowley, pulling his pants down the rest of the way and to his ankles.

Guren started thrashing, trying to kick at the blonde vampire but it was in vain as his ankle was pinned. Horn Skuld chuckled, tsking as she pulled at his shoes to pull them off of his feet and bringing his pants along with them. “There you are, Lord Crowley.”

“Thank you, Horn.” Crowley replied, his eyes still locked onto Guren’s body. Guren bit on the inner part of his lip, attempting to ignore the pleas that wanted to fall from his lips. “I’ll give you one more chance, livestock. How did the humans gain this power?”

His heart skipped a beat as he heard the vampire’s belt being adjusted. Chess had both of her hands planted on his shoulders and Horn was still clutching onto his ankles. Crowley let his head go, that hand instead moving to his hip as he smirked a bit.

“Fuck you.” Guren snapped back.

“I can gladly do that.” Crowley chuckled.

Guren really wanted to wipe that smug grin off of his face. “You bloodsuckers don’t feel emotions. You don’t have desires. Is this just supposed to be some sick sort of fun for you?” Guren decided to say, trying to change the subject away from what these bastards wanted from him.

Chess had leaned down, her face right next to his as she hummed, “Just give Lord Crowley what he wants. We want to be gentle with you. You’re important to us.”

That was the only thing keeping him alive. The fact that he had information. If he gave it up, they would kill him. He was still within a death sentence. If he didn’t give it away, they would just kill him and move on. It didn’t matter. He was good as dead.

“Have it your way then.” Crowley mused.

Guren tensed, trying to even his breathing as he felt it. Despite the slick that his body naturally made, it wasn’t enough. It burned. Searing pain splitting through his body as he felt his body involuntarily stretching around the vampire’s member. The Omega bit down on his lip, the tears kissing his eyelashes from the pain that he felt.

He whined, jerking his shoulders a bit but being forced back down. Crowley’s hands landed on his hips, gripping harshly enough that he was sure that it was going to leave bruises. Guren grunted, trying to keep the cries of pain from leaving him as the Alpha vampire rutted up against him. The Alpha’s scent was revolting to him. A twinge of death and blood mixed into what should be a nice scent. Crowley pulled his hips up. Horn had let go of his ankles to allow the movement, silently working alongside the other Progenitor.

The Omega had been forced onto his knees; the carpet of the destroyed floor harsh against his skin. He gasped; the involuntary moan ripped out of him by Crowley hitting the special bundle of nerves inside of his body. It was a sick mixture of pain and pleasure. He felt so disgusted with himself. Crowley’s pace was rough and fast. His hips slamming into his backside as the revolting squelch filled the room. The only sounds in the room were coming from him and the sound of their skin clashing.

“All you have to do is answer our questions.” Crowley stated, “And I’ll stop.”

Guren felt like it was a lie.

The vampire was violating his body. His fingers digging into his naked hips as his shirt and jacket were forced up by the position that he was in. He felt so exposed. Ignoring the pain had been simple enough. At least, he thought so. It wasn’t the first time he had received unwanted advances, or people touching him, but it had never reached this point.

The bile rose in his throat as he tried to breathe through each thrust against him. He balled his fists until his knuckles were white, his nails digging into his palm that he was sure that he was about to break his own skin.

He could hear his inner demon. Mahiru-no-Yo was trying to goad him into losing control, but Guren had managed to hold it back. He didn’t want that. He refused to allow it to happen.

For now, he managed to suppress her.

The pace that Crowley had set was brutal. Guren couldn’t even breathe properly. Still, he tried to keep himself restrained. Just stay quiet. They could abuse him all they wanted. Hit him. Defile his body. He would never say a word. This vampire was too strong. With the help of the vampire’s companions, he wasn’t going to even be able to attempt to get away.

Horn’s fingers were digging up his sides, pulling at his shirt and military jacket, pulling them a bit higher. “It’s alright, livestock. Just tell us what we want to know.”

“You’re just gonna have to hit me harder.” Guren grunted.

Crowley had taken it as a challenge, thrusting harder into his body and pulling an involuntary moan of pleasure from him as he hit the bundle of nerves in him again. He was trying his best to ignore how it felt like his body was being ripped into two. Crowley was not gentle at all. He was deriving a sick form of pleasure from causing Guren pain.

A hand pressed down on his lower back, forcing him down a bit more in a more uncomfortable position as the Omega bit harder on his lip. He couldn’t tell what was going down his thighs now. It could be his own slick. It could be blood. He didn’t know. He was in a world of pain and there was nothing that he could do.

His head was jerked back, his body being pulled off of the ground as his stomach twisted even worse.

Let me free, Guren. I’ll take care of this for you. You’re in so much pain right now.

Shut up.

Would this even come to an end? He had no idea what a vampire was capable of during such a despicable act. His body was being violated in ways that he never thought would happen whenever he first got captured. He was expecting to be beaten, but it almost felt like chance that Crowley had noticed that he was an Omega. That wasn’t an easy feat to accomplish even with the sharpened senses that a vampire had.

Guren gasped as he felt the teeth against his neck. Not quite hard enough to puncture the skin, but enough to spook him. “I could do it; you know.” Crowley murmured, teasing his neck a bit more as the Omega squeezed his eyes shut. Crowley continued to rut up against him. Giving hard thrusts into his body as the pain erupted up his back from the movement. “But I’m going to wait. Ferid and Queen Krul will be here soon. Then, we’ll find out what to do with you.”

A hand curled around his neck, cutting off his air as he instinctively tried to reach up. The vampire just chuckled in his ear, licking at his neck for a second before he was letting go. Guren’s face hit the floor as he wheezed and sputtered from the newfound oxygen. Crowley’s thrusts had became erratic before Guren’s stomach churned as he felt the hot splash of fluids inside of his body.

The Omega curled up in disgust, feeling the bile in his throat. Crowley dropped him, leaving him in a heap on the floor. Guren fell onto his side, head lulled back as the exhaustion coursed through him. Between the beating, blood loss, and now the assault, he was surprised that he was still conscious, let alone in control.

“This livestock has so much restraint to him.” Chess mused, “Even after that, he still won’t say a thing.”

“He has a lot of information.” Crowley continued, fixing his pants as he looked down at the Omega. Guren cast a glare in his direction, gritting his teeth. “He knows something.”

“What do you want to do, Lord Crowley?” Horn added.

Unshed tears glistened in Guren’s eyes as he clutched his hands. The bindings were biting uncomfortably on his wrists. His half naked body felt cold as he pulled his legs to him. His body felt disgusting. The mixture of fluids on his thighs were sticking to his skin, making it hard for him to try and give himself a bit of decency.

In a matter of seconds, these vampires had ripped his dignity from him. Defiled him in ways he would never wish on anyone.

Crowley’s red eyes fell on him, his head tilting as he said, “Still don’t want to talk?”

“I can talk a lot, but unfortunately for you, you aren’t someone I want to talk to.” Guren snapped back without hesitation.

The vampire just continued to look amused, “Pity.” He turned his back, waving his head, “Horn, Chess… clean him up. The others will be here soon.”

“Yes, Lord Crowley.”

Guren could only slump down exhausted as he leaned against the carpeted for. The stray tear falling from his eye as the two vampire women pulled him up. He didn’t know what else they had in store for him, but it couldn’t be good.

As he was forced back to his feet, they were stopped as Crowley suddenly added in, “Tell me, livestock.” Guren peeked over through his messed-up bangs, seeing that Crowley had tilted his head back, peering back at him over his shoulder, “That pretty blood bag. The one who tried so desperately to save you… you imprinted on him or he’s yours.”

Guren’s eyes widened as his heart skipped a beat in his chest. How did Crowley notice that? Only a few people knew about that. Yuuichirou was family. His family. It was something that he never meant to do, but it happened, and he couldn’t change it.

Crowley chuckled, turning his gaze away, “Humans and their emotions.” He started to walk away now, “Omegas are so rare to find nowadays. We’re going to have a lot of fun with you when the others arrive. Make sure to doll him up all nice.”

Guren didn’t have the chance to say anything back as he was forced away.

He couldn’t get it out of his head. The words that Guren had said to him before they were forced to flee. Every part of him screamed to turn back. To go back after his friend and lover. Shinya stood at Nagoya Airport, standing by with the other members of the Moon Demon Company. None of them wanted to leave Guren behind, but it was something that they had to do.

Shinya hated this.

Guren sacrificed everything to get them out. He couldn’t ignore his request.

It was an internal battle. He knew what Guren would want, but they all wanted to do the opposite. He stared out at the empty area of the Nagoya Airport. Something was wrong. Shinya gritted his teeth. The Alpha was internally screaming despite the silence that he conveyed before the men and women behind him.

Shinya turned as the fight broke out among Namuri’s Squad, listening to their every word for a moment as he turned his attention to them. The Alpha exhaled sharply. He understood their pain, but he also understood why the Shinoa Squad did what they did. This wasn’t black and white.

As Namuri continued, he finished with, “Are we just supposed to lie down and die out here?!”

Shinya turned back to the empty airport. Their evacuation wasn’t here. He supposed it was time to tell the others who was really behind this. None of them would have been here if it wasn’t for him.

“Escape in the chopper and then lead the vampires into a trap waiting for them in Shinjuku.” Shinya stated as he walked forward, addressing all of the soldiers around him. “That was what our final mission was. The only thing is that Guren wasn’t the one who planned this.”

“Then who did?!” Namuri snapped.

“Lieutenant General Kureto Hiragi.” He replied as he turned to look back at the others.

It only worked to anger Namuri that much more as Shinya saw him clutching his fists, staring at the ground. “Of course. I’m sick of the Hiragis. The sick orders they give out only serve to give them more power. Well, I refuse to follow it anymore!”

Shinya sighed, turning to face the Sergeant. “Just calm down. Freaking out isn’t going to help us—” He wasn’t able to finish his sentence as the young Beta man rushed forward, grabbing the Alpha by the front of his military jacket.

“Don’t you dare tell me to calm down!” Namuri growled, slamming Shinya’s back into the fence behind them. After a few seconds of silence, Namuri let go of him, turning his back and walking off. “We’re abandoning this mission. I’m going back to rescue the Lieutenant Colonel.”

“If he’s going back, so am I.” Shigure said just as Namuri walked by her. The Beta woman sharing a glance with Sayuri who was standing next to her. “You coming? If this wasn’t Guren’s mission, I don’t see any reason to finish it. Right?”

Sayuri agreed with her, nodding before she was looking to her other squad members. “Goshi, Mito, Shinya, goodbye.” Both of the women started walking after Namuri as Shinya watched them go.

“Sayuri! Shigure! Think about this!” Mito pleaded.

Shinya closed his eyes for a moment, allowing the thoughts to come to mind. Could he allow Kureto to make him lose the one thing that made him happy? A mission that they all knew was practically a suicide mission. Their evacuation wasn’t here. They were just sitting ducks for whatever Kureto’s plan for them was.

Guren would get upset at him for this.

“Hold on, Narumi!” Shinya exclaimed as he allowed his eyes to open.

“I know I’m disobeying orders! Go ahead and court martial me for all I care!” Narumi snapped back.

Shinya growled out in frustration, walking towards where the others were starting to head out. “Shut up and listen to me for a second! I’m trying to tell you that we are aborting this mission together.”

Narumi looked at him in shock, eyes wide as he muttered, “What?”

“Let’s do it!” Shinya exclaimed, “We’ll ignore the orders from high command. From now on, the Moon Demon Company only has one goal! To rescue the Lieutenant Colonel Guren Ichinose!”

As the excitement ran through the others, Shinya took a moment to look at his adoptive sister. The young Alpha woman smiled at him. “You heard him! We will help our friend in his time of need!”

Shinya could only smile.

We’re coming, Guren. Just hold on a little bit longer.
