Work Text:

Billy takes a deep breath before knocking on Daisy Jones’ door. It’s been so long since he’s seen her, and he’s nervous on how she’s going to react. But this is what Camila wanted.

Camila wanted him to have Daisy, because he needed her after she was gone. She knew how much Billy still loved Daisy.

After all, those two still owed her a song. The large black door opens and inside standing him her nightgown is Daisy Jones. She looks so healthy and beautiful, her red hair still as striking as it was all those years ago.

She smiles. That’s all she can do in this moment. The man she loves most in the world standing before her. “Hi.” She says. “Hi.” Billy replies.

“Want to come in?” She asks and he nods, walking in behind her. They make their way into her large living room and sit down on the leather couch. The sun was shining through the floor to ceiling windows giving the room a beautiful glow.

“What brought you here?” Daisy asks. “Cam she- she left a letter for me before she passed, asking me to see you. Saying that I needed you.” The redhead can’t believe what she’s hearing. But it makes sense.

Camila knew what was best for everyone. She was a very smart woman. “And do you? Do you need me?”

Billy nodded before a tear slipped through and Daisy immediately coddled him in her arms as she stroke his hair. Whispering sweet words in his ear, telling him she’s there for him. She let herself cry a bit, in both sadness and happiness. Once they were both calmed down, Billy took Daisy’s face in his hands and smashed his lips to hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck as she kissed him back. Soon they were pulling at each other’s clothes.

On May 16th, 1997 Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne got married. They raised Daisy’s daughter together. And wrote Camila a song. Later, the band got together and did a reunion tour which was one of the highest selling tours in US history.

Notes:

Thank you for reading! I hope this helped all of you Daisy/Billy shippers. What’s their ship name? I think it’s Baisy but it could be Dilly but that just sounds weird.
