As you can tell, this is a saiki x reader but with a twist. It's SOULMATES.
You were born as a human-fox hybrid, you have fox ears, a tail, sharp canines, retractable claws, and an amazing sense of small and hearing. You can growl and turn into a normal fox if you want to, you have two older brothers. The oldest is named Terrance he wears a fox mask to make you feel like you fit in more, he couldn't be happier to have you as his little sister. Even if it meant that he was dead to y'alls father, he loved you more than enough to be roped into the abuse with you and not care that it was because of you that he was getting hurt. The middle child is named Mason, he always refused to be alone with you and doesn't want anything to do with you at all, he carries around a brown teddy bear with purple eyes. Your mothers name is Laura and she is soulmates with your father, Harry. Laura loved you with all of her heart but Harry hated you because he never wanted a daughter.
Harry was insane and killed all of his and Lauras family but wasn't sent to jail because of Laura. You see, soulmates cannot be separated once they have found each other and have officially began dating and announced it to the people around them, because of this Harry couldn't be sent to jail because Laura was innocent. But this meant that Laura couldn't divorce him either, she would never be able to escape him so she made the most of it and continued to try to be happily married to him. Terrance found his soulmate at the age of 14, but his soulmate was a boy and Harry did NOT approve of this. The abuse was worse than before and he ended up killing Terrances soulmate. Terrance was in the most amount of pain a person could experience without dying, the soulmate bond was slowly killing him because of the death of his loved one. But even then you were his top priority. He started to take his anger out on Mason because Mason had the joy of being the favorite child that Harry wouldn't lay a finger on him to do any harm. This ended up with Mason in the hospital after being hit by a car, the heart monitor came to long beep that was held out for at least five seconds before sobs were heard around the room. But you had other plans, without even realizing it you had reached out from your spot on the hospital bed beside him and grabbed his hand. As soon as your hands came into contact with each other a white mist like light emitted from your joined hands. The white mist was healing him, but Harry took you and threw you cross the room because he didn't know that you were healing him. Terrance protected you in the hospital for the rest of the night, Terrance was in so much pain that he couldn't do it any more and he committed suicide by hanging himself. But not before taking you to a flower field that you had visited with your mother that held your favorite flowers. You two played all day before you both went home and he hung himself.
You were the one that found him and read the note that was left to you saying that he loved you and that he left his mask and Mason's teddy bear to you. After you finished the note you screamed a wall shaking-ear splitting- glass shattering scream that made your parents run into the room to see what happened. Laura started sobbing and Harry felt an intense rage that caused him to beat you an inch to death. Laura wouldn't stand up for you after that and let Harry do whatever he wanted to with you because she was grieving so hard that she only cared for herself. Eventually you got on her nerves to much and she scratched you over your left eye leaving you permanently blind in that eye. A little while after that she was murdered by Harry and you ran away into the forest that concealed your back yard and collapsed after running for so long. Once you woke up you lived by yourself in the woods for a few weeks by turning into a orange fox with your right eye red and your left eye white with a scar over it. You eventually went back to your house to find it empty of any life. Your mothers dead corpse was on the ground rotting away so you took her to the flower field and buried her on a hill that was so steep that you'd have to climb the hill in order to know that there was a grave up there at all. You got both of your brothers dead bodies and buried them there aswell. And sitting there at your families graves, as a 5 year old girl that knew nothing of the world, you promised Laura and Terrance that you would never have a soulmate and wouldn't let anything happen like this again to the people close to you.
You continued to live in your childhood house and eventually, when you were 16 years old you enrolled yourself at PK Academy. You specifically asked for the boys uniform to cover the scars on your legs, and the girls uniform just made you uncomfortable. It couldn't hide the scars on your hands though, but you figured that it would be fine so you went along with it. You had grown and cut some of your hair so that it covered your left eye perfectly, no one could see the scar or your eye itself. You had cut a hole in the pants to put your tail through, your tail ended right at the back of your knees. And you were on your way to your new school. Now to explain soulmates Soulmates finding each other is different for everyone, some people have to touch their soulmates before their name appears on their wrist, or they have to kiss. Some soulmates only have to make eye contact and the name will appear on their wrists. The font of the name is really fancy and with a lot of swirls. You feel a connection with your soulmate that you know is different from others, you are drawn to your soulmate as they are drawn to you. As stated earlier, soulmates cannot be separated, no matter who they are and what they do. Once soulmates announce that they are soulmates and are together they then have to be together for the rest of their lives. If ones soulmate dies the other dies slowly and painfully, they will lose their happiness and will to live (a will to live? Whats that?). Soulmates can reject the other by saying who they are and who their soulmate is and saying a lot of stuff that I will come up with later when the time comes BUT they also have to seal it with their blood. So basically if you want to reject your soulmate then you have to say a bunch of weird decripted things and you have to cut one of your fingers to bleed and run it along your name on your soulmates wrist to rid both you and them of the soulmate bond forever.
