(in response to someone else’s headcanons)
Peridot is super noisy. Like, nearly deafening. The whole goddamn time. If she tries to be quiet at all it’s by biting her lips/stuffing her own fist in her mouth. It’s not very successful. But she still covers her eyes sometimes, with her hands or arms or a pillow (she shouts into that too). EDIT: hah I bet Peridot is a constant talker, actually. “Here! Yes! Okay now a little to the left! Just like that!”
Amethyst is more likely to swear under her breath until she’s actually coming, then it’s a string of expletives she doesn’t manage to finish, like “jesus fuuu–”
Peridot likes being tied up so much that when Amethyst pulls out her whip on an actual mission Peridot is visibly distracted and blushing for a moment. Pearl notices and rolls her eyes but doesn’t say anything. Amethyst smiles.
Amethyst likes to have her hair played with, of course, but she also likes having it pulled.
Peridot takes the time to research less technical names for body parts/acts. She then gets in the habit of whispering naughty things to Amethyst in semi-public places (half-hidden under all that hair) just to watch Amethyst blush.
When Vidalia figures out that Amethyst and Peridot are fucking, Vidalia cracks up laughing and asks for details. And then it turns out that Peridot is willing to tell anyone (well, adults) who ask pretty much everything, much to Amethyst’s half-embarrassment half-pride.

okay but
Peridot making comparisons OUT LOUD, like, in the middle of sexytimes, because nobody told her not to. Like, not even bad comparisons, just...Peridot, don’t say things like “Wow Amethyst your tongue is so much smaller than Jasper’s” when said tongue is busy between your legs because You Will Live to Regret It, even if you immediately point out that you prefer smaller tongues, because Amethyst likes shape-shifting for funsies and she won’t care that “But it was just a statement of fact!”, she will happily prove that she can have any size tongue she damn well pleases, okay.
on the other hand I’m also convinced that quartzes generally aren’t terribly jealous/possessive*, so I can see Jasper and Amethyst making “sloppy seconds” jokes in Peridot’s hearing just to tease her.
*maaaaybe when it comes to romance/attention, but not about sex. but these are my own headcanons, which may or may not be related to/influenced by my own fic(s).

1. What kinks do you headcanon that your OTPs engage in?
There’s no way in hell Amethyst isn’t using her whip to tie up Peridot. I mean, that’s….literally canon, though I don’t think Peridot was enjoying it much at the time, lol.
I can also easily imagine Peridot pulling Amethyst’s hair, though I’m not sure that counts as a kink.
Given how much Amethyst enjoys shape-shifting (and has done it in canon to make Peridot blush and then asked if she had any requests), they can get up to all kinds of crazy stuff.
14. Does your OTP dirty talk? Who has the filthier mouth?
Ahahaha yes. I think Amethyst probably does it more to start with, just to enjoy how flustered Peridot gets (and Peridot probably blushes and stammers even when she’s not sure what Amethyst is saying, because she can tell by context that Amethyst is talking about sex), but I can also imagine Peridot doing some independent research into what words/phrases mean, and being really observant about what Amethyst likes, and being able to give it back just as good after a while. I can also imagine that her first attempts were really stilted and off and Amethyst had to suppress laughter.
Even with practice Peridot probably is probably a little more literal in her dirty talk, and uses more technical and scientific terms than slang, but Amethyst loves it anyway because it’s true to Peridot’s personality and it’s all in how/when Peridot says it.
6. What are your OTPs favorite positions and why?
I think Peridot really likes it when Amethyst sits on her face. It’s not like she has to breathe. (And she’s hard to poof!) She could just have her whole face covered in Amethyst’s pussy and thighs. I also think Amethyst likes fucking Peridot from behind with a shape-shifted dick, because Peridot’s ass probably jiggles nicely and she makes really great (possibly bordering on squeaky) noises.
4. If your OTPs were going to swing, what other pair would they do it with?
In my fave fantasies, Jasper and Lapis–’cause I ship, like, every combo of those four???

5. What toys do your OTPs regularly employ?
I’ve seen enough fan art of Peridot using her old floaty fingers and/or the robonoids as vibrators that I can’t help thinking she loves a good vibe.
I can see Amethyst trying just about anything at least a few times, honestly; but I can also easily imagine she’d prefer a good ol’ Hitachi Magic Wand just for simplicity’s sake.
3. If your OTPs were going to have a threesome, who would it be with?
I’ve written them doing threesomes with Lapis. But I also love the idea of them and Jasper….ahaha I’m repeating myself.

Oooooooh. I think Peridot is probably terrible at hiding any of her fantasies, and I can’t see Amethyst being a jealous/judgey lover at all. She’s probably willing to indulge pretty much anything Peridot wants to try. But yeah, I’ve written Amethyst helping Peridot with two v. different fantasies in two v. different fics–in one she’s having all the quartzes at once, and in the other she has a lactation kink.
Amethyst I can see being the one more nervous to share and also much better at hiding it–but I’m having a hard time imagining her having any particular fantasies she’d feel the need to hide. Being submissive, maybe? I think she’d have trouble admitting she wanted that.
9. Who typically gets off first?
I think they take turns. Not in an intentional, keeping a list kind of way.
Now that I think about it, I tend to imagine Peridot as being able to come easier/faster than Amethyst, so she probably comes first a little more often because of that. But it’s not planned that way, and they definitely both get off.
11. How frequently does your OTP get it on?
Varies wildly. During a time when things were calm they probably spent a few days in Amethyst’s room doing nothing else. When there was a bunch going on (as in: the show’s plots are happening) it could be a couple of weeks. Also I get the feeling that Peridot can get wrapped up in a project and forget about sex entirely unless Amethyst pesters her to take a break. Which she might. Peridot would be equal parts annoyed and grateful.
20. Does your OTP role play? What’s their fave fantasy?
I’m not sure either of them could keep a straight face long enough to do proper role play–one of them would start laughing. I’m convinced Peridot’s fave fantasy is still “an entire room of quartzes.” Amethyst’s might be something like “find out how many times I can get off in a row before I pass out.”
