Notes:

Why have a love triangle when you can make an ot3 :)c
One of the many ways I envisioned these two would meet each other. And since I hc them to both be secretive horny bastards, there was only one way it could end. Enjoy the smut!

Work Text:

"Emet told me a lot about you."

"Huh?"

Hyth reclined on the broad spacecraft machinery he and G'raha were sitting on. They were on the Ragnarok, on their way back to Eitherys. A mishap with the Azem crystal had made Emet's and Hyth's summons not fade, they remained seemingly corporeal, any other person would mistake them for the living. The conclusion was that the Scions would carry them back to Eitherys upon the spacecraft and manually lead them back to the Lifestream via the Aitaiscope.

"Don't believe me?" Hyth asked.

"It's just... It's hard to believe he'd recount our history to you amidst everything." G’raha let out a sigh.

Hyth smiled. "He might not show it outwardly, but he does care."

G'raha looked at Hyth, he seemed sincere in what he said. And if they were truly as close as they seemed, he would know how Emet truly felt. He stared at his hands, mustering up the courage to speak. He had to ask.

"So are you his partner? Or just his friend?"

Hyth tilted his friend questioningly, "I’d say I’m both. Oh! You mean- right. I remember you people distinguish relationships in a peculiar way. Hmm… The closest term I believe would be ‘life-partner’ or maybe ‘lover’? It’s hard to choose really…"

From the looks of things it was obvious, but G'raha had to make sure. He recalled the time where he had to let go of his love for the Warrior since they loved another. He had to respect that and move on. Why then, had he staked his heart on someone even more fickle with love? Someone that told him that one day, only one of them would survive the morrow, no matter their affections for one another. Gods, why did he have to show up again? He had just put their tumultuous and weird relationship behind him.

"I just uhm... Wanted to know if you're okay with..." G'raha paused for a moment, would Emet even give him the time of day after being reunited with his beloved?

Hyth gave an understanding smile, "You want to know if your situation would interfere with ours?"

"Yes," G'raha said, thankful for Hyth's eloquent interjection.

"Why would it?” He asked in a rhetorical tone, “-When we two are the same."

G'raha paused for a minute, and before he could process what Hyth meant, the Ancient had shifted his position to stand in front of G'raha. The ethereal man peered deep into his soul.

Lavender eyes with a shimmer of red rims peered into G'raha’s Allagan reds. G'raha felt-- no, knew, this man could see beyond the physical nature of his existence.

Hyth gently cupped G'raha’s face, "You carry shards of my soul. Not only that, your soul is denser than your friends. It's fascinating..."

G'raha softly lowered Hyth's hands by the wrists and looked at them. He was filled with a mix of emotions but none of them were jealousy or fear. Finding out your soul doesn't truly belong to you for instance, would shake someone's ego to the core. But for G'raha, he had been many things in his life, sharing a soul with an Ancient self wasn't frightening nor that surprising after what he's been through.

"Then... Are you ok with this? With us?" G'raha questioned, his shoulders relaxing with a sense of relief.

"... I guess I am. Yes, I think so."

"If you are unsure, you don't need to give me an answer right now."

"I appreciate the sentiment, but don't worry little one. Why, if I was unsure, you wouldn't be standing here— probably."

G'raha was taken aback by the uncharacteristic response.

"Excuse me?"

"Oh, nothing against you my friend but you see... How should I put this," he furrowed his brow, "I’ve been madly in love with Hades for centuries. They are my one and only love, which is a bit unusual for our society, our longevity allows for many monogamies or polygamies to flourish throughout our lifetime. But that's besides the point—”

He inhaled deeply and continued, “One time, he and Azem went on an excursion together without me. I didn't have any spare time so I couldn't accompany them. But by some chance of luck, a colleague of mine took over my duties and I was able to catch up," he paused, and looked at G'raha, his friendly demeanour from before seemed to have all but vanished. "Has our friend told you that I can't transform?"

"He... might have, in passing."

Hyth smiled. "Well. In truth, it's not because I cannot in a traditional sense but rather… shouldn't. Because during that excursion when I caught up to Hades and Azem they were... Let's say the locals were a bit too 'handsy' with them, and they both didn't look very lucid, so I don't think it was Hades' or Azem’s fault. But after that..." Hyth looked ahead into an empty space, "All I remember was waking up to a settlement that was razed to the ground. Hades told me there were no casualties and that he and Azem would keep whatever happened a secret."

G'raha listened intently, his eyes fixed on the Ancient.

"But rumours of an 'Angel of War' had spread throughout that region after the incident. And... and the fact I was feeling pretty drained of aether after I had woken up— Well, you probably can piece the rest together."

"I... see." G'raha went silent, not knowing how to respond. Hyth continued.

"I love them more than existence itself. They are my joy, my reason to be. I..." Hyth's expression was a mix of disgust for what he was recalling and adoration for the two he was talking about. Conflicting feelings were plainly writ on his face.

It was an earnest display of emotion, G'raha thought. Hyth came closer and put his forehead onto G'raha's. "I don't know if this is how you feel as well but- It's ok. Since, you have a part of me. And that part probably loves Hades the same way I do. You and only you— can love Hades with me."

G'raha breathed in deeply and closed his eyes. "You really are passionate about him aren't you? Thank you for being truthful with me..." They lingered there for a while. G'raha spoke again, "It's nice... Knowing that you feel this way actually."

Hyth opened his eyes slightly, "Hm?"

G'raha continued, "Your passion is moving in a way, and that’s... pretty attractive."

Hyth snorted, "That's a positive way to say creepy and possessive."

G'raha laughed, "I mean it." he exhaled in a way that came out a bit dreamier-sounding that he meant. "It is," he reaffirmed.

Hyth smiled and rolled his eyes, which happened to catch something rather unexpected.

"Oh, you meant it literally. Hehe, you get more interesting by the minute,G’raha Tia."

G'raha opened his eyes and followed the direction to where Hyth was looking at… Straight down- right at his erection. He panicked and tried to cover what he could. Suddenly, Hyth grabbed his hands. "I can help," he smiled. The flustered Miqo'te had his mouth agape, "Y-you. But we- can we? I mean! We can't!"

Hyth giggled, "I know I know, I wouldn't suggest it to someone I've only talked to for a couple minutes like I'm in the pleasure district buut..."

G'raha squirmed beneath his hands while doing his best to hide his crotch, "Your kind had a pleasure district?" He asked, trying to change the subject.

"Oh yes, it was a unique place, one for fun and research. I took some courses there actually..."

"Research? You don't mean..."

"Mostly academic work on the aspects of physiology responsible for pleasure. But also some technological developments that ah- enhance the bedroom experience."

G'raha's ever-curious mind wanted to know more, but the incessant massaging Hyth had been doing all this time was inhibiting his mind used for academic discussion.

"But anyway, that's a topic for later," Hyth squeezed G'raha's thigh, "Shall I show you how he likes it done? Hades I mean."

Ah. Of course Hythlodaeus would know a lot more about Emet than he would. He didn't mind, on the contrary, if he could learn some of Emet's weaknesses or erogenous zones...

"I... Would like to learn, yes..." G'raha pulled his hands away to allow Hyth access to his belt. "Hmhmm~ Maybe you can tell me about his recently developed interests in exchange sometime?" He asked while unbuttoning the fidgety man's trousers.

"He hasn't shared much with me to be honest, but I have some guesses..."

"Good."

"Ah..." G'raha exhaled as his member met the cold air, he was hard and the lack of stimulation was already getting tough to deal with. Hyth stared at it for a while until he realised he wasn't being very polite. Different, but not too different, he thought.

He started with a gentle pump and then moved his other hand to play with the head. A moan escaped from G'raha's mouth. Hyth moved his thumb in a circular motion around the tip, then slid the index finger up-and-down the slit while gently pressing into the hole with each pass, finally he traced around the rim of the head, elegantly touching each and every crevice G'raha had.

It was maddening. The movements were meticulous but slow. Pressured and light at the same time. He was being teased, that was for certain. As Hyth kept repeating his motions, G'raha remembered that this was a demonstration of Hades' preferences.

"He, ah— likes being edged then? But this i-is... Torturous. Mhmmh," G'raha moved his hips against Hyth's hands, desperate for more.

Hyth snickered quietly, "He does! Or he did anyway. Why, he'd melt into my hands and beg that I go faster or harder... But by the end of it, he'd be content and appreciative of the pace I took. Bit of a masochist, that one."

"He might've switched to being a sadist while you were gone."

"Did he now? That's fun."

G'raha lightly chuckled at Hyth's response in between his shaky exhales. "A-ah... I remember now. There was that one time he wanted me to- Nghh!"

Hyth licked G'raha's cock from the base to the tip without warning and looked up, "My bad- Go on."

"Mhhm... There was this one time he tied himself to my bed, unannounced, and told me to 'do my worst'... I guess he was feeling nostalgic."

Hyth almost choked on G'raha's member as he slid it out from his mouth for a response, "Are you serious?" he managed to sputter out.

"Hahah, not kidding no."

Hyth giggled and lowered himself on G'raha's cock again. A whimper escaped G'raha as Hyth quickened his pace, bobbing up and down, his mouth engulfing all of the Miqo'tes length. He made sure to have his tongue drag against the underside of the shaft as he pulled away each time. G'raha couldn't control himself and so he held Hyth's head and started thrusting, matching the rhythm as best he could.

"Mmmhph, I'm-- almost...!"

Hearing that, Hyth immediately pushed G'raha's thighs down to stop his hips from moving. G'raha struggled and whined, but Hyth kept a firm grip on him.

"P-Please..."

Hyth lifted his head up to reassure his other half. His cheeks and lips were flushed in a pretty pink and his eyes were hazy with lust.

"Just bear it a bit more my little one."

He took the head into his mouth again as G'raha struggled, his body begging him to engulf his length into Hyth's warm mouth again. Hyth moved his tongue around the head, poking and prodding the most sensitive spots.

G'raha moaned and whined, trying his best to keep his voice down as he didn't know how well the walls of the spacecraft muffled sound. His hands and feet curled up and twitched as Hyth focused on his head and pumped the remainder of the cock not in his mouth. G’raha’s length was slick with saliva, which made it easy for Hyth to jerk him off.

"Haaah- haa- So close- Mmmph!" His eyes saw stars as he came in the Ancient's mouth. The man below him hungrily took his load, the obvious eagerness on his face shot a small jolt of extra pleasure through G'raha's spine.

Hyth retracted himself and tried to clean up the mess, "Salty and... bitter. But somehow not bad," he licked around his lips. G'raha, exhausted, collapsed downwards and held onto Hyth's shoulders. He tentatively licked Hyth's lips and gave him a chaste kiss, in which Hyth replied with a kiss of his own, making sure to make G'raha taste his own semen.

He broke off with a relieved sigh, "Hah... If anything, my horny degeneracy isn't the worst thing you could've inherited."

"I have you to blame for that do I? Though I don't think it's entirely because of— Well, I don't know if such a thing can be etched on a soul… can it?"

"Hehe, I don’t know either."

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps quickly approached the room. G'raha quickly buttoned himself up as Hyth changed his position back to being seated next to him.

"There you are." A familiar voice echoed from across the doorway that had automatically opened to reveal Hyth's grumpy companion.

"The Warrior proposed to us an option. I need to hear your opinion on it." Emet-Selch strode into the room.

"Oh?" Hythlodaeus inquired, successfully acting like he wasn't just making a man beg for release. G'raha tried his best to act normal, alas Emet was too preoccupied to notice the disheveled Miqo’te.

Emet sighed, "Our friend says that 'one more mortal lifetime' should be nothing to us. So he wants us to stay around until he ‘kicks the bucket’. I don't know what to make of it, I'm tired and would love to partake in some well-needed rest in the aetherial sea but..."

He looked at Hyth with his arms crossed, "If you want to stay for a while... I'll stay as well. So it's up to you."

Hyth looked at Emet and blinked in surprise, then to G'raha. G'raha smiled and leaned over to whisper in Hyth's ear which made Emet raise brow. There was something up with these two. Hyth giggled and nodded to whatever G'raha had told him.

"I guess I did say I'd only go to the Sea when I've helped you and Azem accomplish your goals... Then— I think I want to stay." Hyth concluded.

"What have you two- Ah, been talking behind my back have you, Exarch?"

"It's G'raha Tia," he corrected. "I just told Hythlodaeus that you could benefit with some... unique adventures, is all."

"I've had these 'adventures' one too many times." Emet shrugged.

"Oh, not this kind. Not as often as you think anyway," Hyth chuckled while G'raha snickered. Emet was quickly realising he regretted getting himself into this. Not to mention that these two seemed to be plotting against him. What, he didn't know. But knowing Hyth, it was sure to be troublesome, and the Miqo'te had plenty of reason to get back at him for their time spent back in the First.

G'raha hopped off his seat and stood before Emet. "After all, you told me to seek out new experiences, did you not?"

Emet pretended to not know what he was talking about, but under the two men’s pressing gazes he made a face and gave in. "I might have, but I never said I wanted to be a part of them."

“Oh come now Hades,” Hyth groaned at his partner’s stubbornness.

"If you would join us, oh Eminent Emet-Selch— I'd actually like to- learn to enjoy your company. Now that we’re not trying to kill each other, even if you might've found that fun for a while," G'raha mused.

"Enjoy? You had a sour face every time I appeared," Emet stared at him questioningly. “Am I to believe you looked forward to our meetings? Well now…”

"I... Well— Hyth!” G’raha turned to the man for back-up, “Let's meet up with the others," G'raha took Hyth's hand as he grinned in agreement. He waved at Emet and was dragged out of the room  by the smaller man.

Emet stared at the door they exited out of for a while, thinking of what he might have to anticipate next with these unexpected developments. He shook his head and walked to join the group, it was useless to predict things with these people after all...
