Chapter Text
Jeon Wonwoo wanted to love. Sure, he already loved family and friends. But he hated not being able to tell them. It was frustrating not knowing how to express it properly, always very awkward when it came to show his feelings.
As sick of this situation as he might be, there’s nothing he can do about it.
The last time he tried to go to someone for advice, Jeonghan gave him a whole lecture about how being open about our feelings isn’t something you can learn overnight, and assured him that he would get better at it with time.
That was almost eight months ago, and Wonwoo is a hundred percent sure that he’s still stuck in the same place.
Staring at the ceiling of his bedroom, he sighed.
it was only 11:50 p.m, but he called it a day and went to sleep dreaming of somewhere he wouldn’t be left alone in the dark with his thoughts.
For Wen Junhui, the issue was totally different. If you didn’t pay attention, you’d probably assume he had no trouble with love.
He loved his family and friends with his whole heart and wasn't ashamed of showing it, even if he ended up coming off as clingy to some people.
For him, loving was as easy as breathing. It just came naturally. That was, until the affection was directed towards him.
The last time he was told “I love you” by one of his friends, he froze and turned as red as Minghao’s hair.
He always feels so embarrassed and emotionally weak whenever things like that happen. He knew he was important to people in his life, but he couldn’t help panicking every time someone made him aware of it.
It felt like a pedestal he didn’t deserve, as if he got the highest score after cheating on a test.
And that’s why he threw his phone and went to sleep immediately after checking the time, not ready for all the birthday wishes.
