I'm well aware that I have a massively fucked up mind and to the "normal" person this kind of story is an abomination. But I ain't normal and I don't ever what to be.

Demons exist. That’s a terrifying thing to be told but the truth is both much more frightening but also comforting to many.
These Demons don’t belong to our realm, they are from an alternate realm that is connected to ours. The name for their realm has been lost to time and the Demons have grown rather fond of simply referring to it as hell.
Hell and its inhabitants exist as a sort of physical manifestation of the collective psychological and emotional state of Humans. The denizens of Hell have changed dramatically from their ancient forms. They were one all humans just like those of earth, consisting of 7 major factions that all coexisted in equilibrium and peace. These factions were the 7 driving emotions of humanity: Happiness, Anger, Kindness, Generosity, Restraint, Ambition, and Love.
Unfortunately as decades and centuries passed on the earth’s turmoil and chaos began to corrupt the mirror dimension more and more. Factions saw the positive emotions they used to live by corrupted into more aggressive and violent forms.
Happiness ----> Pride
Anger ----> Wrath
Restraint ----> Gluttony
Kindness ----> Greed
Generosity ----> Envy
Love ----> Lust
Ambition ----> Sloth
Naturally these emotions slowly corrupted their minds and ideals into being more violent and aggressive. Their bodies took on all manner of appearances based on the different ideologies of demons and monsters humans created.
These changes ultimately brought the factions into tension and occasional conflict, each faction vying for control over the other. Their faction's strength ebbed and flowed based on the influence of earth. After centuries of conflict and bloodshed an uneasy truce was formed by the heads of each faction, now calling themselves Demon Princes. The demons finally had a goal to work together for, they wanted to take over the human realm as well!

Mammon - Greed
Livyatan - Envy
Asmodeus - Lust
Belphegor - Sloth
It took many more centuries but the demons managed to understand and begin manipulating the very connection between realms. They learned how to slip between realms for brief periods of time. They discovered ways of altering the bodies and minds of humans through much experimentation. With these discoveries they began visiting us, influencing us, playing with us like puppets on a string. Many of the powerful beings and monsters of religion and legend were demons slipping between realms.
Despite our realms being linked, the universe tried to maintain some semblance of balance. This meant that if a Demon crossed into the human realm or vice versa, they would often find themselves falling ill or at least weakened. To counteract these effects, demons had to tether themselves to the realm. Most often this was done by binding their soul into the body of a human. These humans are referred to as their Vessel since they act as a container for the Demons soul. A Demon would then be able to then reside in the human realm unrestricted as long as their Vessel was not killed.
Finally in the year 2025, when the Demons had organized and grown strong enough, they decided to finally invade earth fully. Their attack was sudden and deadly. Humanity was powerless to stop them as their fear only served to strengthen the Demon army.
Millions died across the globe in the few short hours of conflict that is now referred to as The Uprising. In the days that followed millions more were taken captive by the Demons. Most would be forced into manual labor or as sex slaves. The truly unlucky would find themselves tortured or snuffed for the entertainment of the Demon masses.
There were some who were spared from these fates. The Demons spared humans who had truly given into their "sin" long before The Uprising. Those whose desires were seen as sick and twisted by their own species were rewarded by their new rulers. They would be allowed to live in relative harmony with Demons, treated fairly but still seen as lesser beings by most Demons. Many willingly choose to become Vessels, an act that would not only protect them, but afford them the best possible life for a human.
Within days of The Uprising, the spared humans quickly found themselves losing all inhibitions and moral withholdings. Their fellow humans and new Demon neighbors were much more accepting of each other's individual indulgences. Nudity, sex, drug use, violence, murder, torture, snuffing, cannibalism, and more quickly became commonplace.
