Uruk

Summary:

As your village celebrates the arrival of new allies and victory over the orcs, you are strangely drawn to their elven leader.

Notes:

The imagery of Adar in shackles will stay in my mind for a long time. Slightly off-canon because I tweaked the duration of the events just a little. Also working on a longer, slower-burn Adar one-shot. Let me know what you think of this one and hail to all of us who thirst for him 🥴

Work Text:

The first time you come to him, you say nothing.

You try not to make any noise, as he does seem to be asleep. It is better this way indeed. Taking the damp rag, you dab it on his bloodied face until it is devoid of any crimson. From up close, you see so many scars and marks that it almost makes you sorrowful.

After you leave, he stares at the place where you had kneeled beside him the entire night.

The second time you come to him, he is awake.

His stare burns through you as you handle your tasks in silence. When you finish, his hand holds onto your wrist for a moment and he says in a brittle voice, “I have sat in darkness for so long… will you bring me a flower, little mortal?”

From them on you do so, and in turn he teaches you their Quenya names, ways to use them and sow them that were beyond the wisdom of the Edain.

Then, he starts asking after his children. Each orc has a name, granted by him. You learn them too, but dare not approach the enclosure where they are kept. You do tell him whenever one perishes, leaving him alone as he weeps.

At some point you realize there is no purpose for you to tend to his healed wounds anymore. Does he see that too?

The last time you come to him is because he tells you to.

“This is all but the third time I noticed your shadow pacing back and forth today and I am tired of it. Enter and speak, or leave me be.”

Adar’s eyes are closed, head leaned back against the wooden column that he is bound to. His knees are drawn toward his chest and his arms bent at the elbows, hands chained together by crude metal links.

You take slow, tentative steps towards him, carrying a bowl of spring water and clean rags. “My shadow gave me away?"

His eyes open, sharp gaze fixed on you. “Your shadow. Footsteps. Smell. Aside, who else would come to me?"

Your grip tightens on the rim of the bowl. “Keen are the Eldar’s senses indeed.”

He keeps silent as you kneel beside him, setting your items on the ground. Damping a rag in the cool water, you blot it on his pale, scarred  face, using your other hand to move his knotted hair out of the way.

Adar shifts his weight, stretching his long legs in front of him. It startles you, causing you to topple the water bowl.

He laughs, voice dry and cutting. “I am bound like a lesser animal, and yet after all this time still you fear me?”

"Not all of it is fear,” you admit, putting the cloth aside and looking away. You shift backwards until your body collides with the other wooden column that stands across from him. Lowering your legs, you mirror his pose.

Adar hums, mouth twisting into a grin. "I see it in your eyes. Since the very first day. Tell me, what is it about me that calls out to you.”

“You are different from the rest of them.” Pausing, you consider your next words. “They are ethereal and perfect and yet so empty. While you are ruthless and flawed in your purpose of caring for the orcs."

“Uruk. That is how we prefer to be called."

You test the word, finding it rolls strangely from your tongue. “The truth is, I have gotten attached in ways I do not understand and maybe it is beyond my comprehension for a reason."

"Is this a farewell?” He tilts his head.

“Each of my thoughts have been plagued by you. Rooted so deep is your presence that I see you in my dreams. I came to say I should leave, for my own sanity, though now that I am here, I find no will to let go.” You stare at the etched patterns in his armor, following the elegant lines sprawled across his chest.

“Then do not."

“I- "

“Fall into the shadow. Crawl to me and I shall guide you.” He pats his thigh.

And so you do.

The filthy ground of the barn dirties your plain dress as you fall into your hands and knees. Adar's gaze never wavers from your form, a wicked smile gracing his features. He whispers enticing sounds of encouragement until you finally reach him, settling between his legs.

His bound hands reach forward, fingers grasping the collar of your dress and pulling you closer. He tilts his head, running the bridge of his nose across your temple before pressing his mouth to your ear. "Tell me what you need and I shall give it to you."

Your voice is a soft whisper against his flesh. “I need to know that you have been consumed by it as much as I have."

He pulls back and long armored fingers fit under your jaw to lift your face towards him. His mouth presses kisses across your cheek until he has taken his tongue past your lips, kindling the hunger within you.

“Undress me,” he commands.

Your hands shift to untie the knots on his clothing, pulling the fabric down and exposing him to the cool spring air. His cock weighs heavily in your palm and then you lean down, pressing a wet kiss to it.

After licking a few times up his length, you relax your jaw, wrapping your lips around the reddened tip.

“So eager to be good for me,” he groans. His hand pushes down your head, fingers digging into your scalp. “Deeper, little mortal, take more of me into your mouth.”

His cock settles all the way into your throat and you choke around it, tears springing in your eyes. Staring up at him, you find his gaze already fixed on you. A scorching heat fires in your belly at the sheer intensity behind his stare.

He wipes your tears away with the gentlest touch and then pulls you out of him. Before you can collect your breath, he seizes your mouth in another kiss. Stars burst behind your eyes once the lack of oxygen becomes overpowering and you brace your hands on his chest for support. Once you break apart, a thread of drool connects you.

Adar gathers the fluid in his fingers before guiding them into your mouth. ”Clean.“

As you suck on them, he grinds up against you, causing the plates of his armor to clash with each other.

His jaw is set, mouth set in a line, exposing the sinewy tendons on his neck. Once he is satisfied, he pulls his digits back with a pop, hands moving under your dress to explore your inner thighs, toying with the wetness that has pooled there since he kissed you.

"Adar,” you plead, “Be one with me.”

He nips at your ear, slowly guiding himself into you. “How can I deny you when you fall apart so easily under my hold?”

Then, he pushes inside, stretching you wide open. His hands coast up your body until they settle atop your shoulders, the chain between them dangling around your neck.

Whenever he moves, it takes away your breath, filling you with something akin to lighting and soon you are quivering, pressing your hips as hard as you can on top of him.

His hands tighten their grip on your shoulders and his head leans back, exposing the pale column of his throat. “I have tread the world before there was a sun and a moon and yet I never felt like this."

Your mouth falls open when he picks up his pace, slamming into you so hard that his chains rattle, thumping rhythmically against the ground. Holding onto his forearms, you feel your eyes roll back into your head.

He calls out your name and no word has ever sounded prettier. "Look at me."

His armored fingers trace the outline of your lips while his other hand seizes the back of your neck, coiling the iron chain around your throat. Adar’s eyes seek something within yours, his mouth twisting up at the corners once he finds it. "Cum, little mortal,” he grants your release, soon followed by his.

Countless whispers of his name fall from your mouth. Eyes scrunching shut, you grind  harder against him, overwhelmed by the staggering pleasure burning from within. Your breath comes in ragged gasps, lungs screaming for more air.

Adar lets you fall limp and drained against his chest, taking the time to trace patterns in your cheek with his long fingers. Once your breathing settles, he helps you fix your garment, binds not stopping him from tugging your underclothes back into place.

Warmth pools between your legs as you feel his release drip out of you.

He composes himself with a groan, eyelids fluttering shut. When he is done, he takes your hands into his, bringing his lips to kiss your knuckles, green eyes trained on your face. “Thank you, melethril."

His head turns to the side for a moment, pointed ears twitching to a sound you cannot hear, eyes widening slightly.

Foul dust cascades from the ceiling as the barn trembles and a deep rumbling echoes seemingly from below the earth. Screams now ring in the distance.

Scrambling to your feet, you pause for a moment, accusatory gaze flickering between him and the place which he stares at.

He tilts his head, not hiding the smug grin that spreads across his face. "Go on, have a look outside. No harm will come to me in here."

You bolt out of the barn, struggling to process all of the mayhem unfolding before you. The sky bleeds red, a mountain spits fire, boulders fall from above. The green pastures are scorched and darkened, and flames spread across the once tall grass. A burning stone flies by your head, and you fall to your knees, doubling over the ground as another and another and another comes.

Once you rise to your feet when it feels safe, all you can do is watch. Are the Valar reforging the world to their will? Only a god could cause this much destruction.  You are freed from your stupor when a hand grasps your wrist, sharp nails marking your skin.

Adar’s eyes blaze with a fire hotter than the magma running down the far mountains in the horizon. “Come. There is nothing for you there.”

Staring one last time to the ashes that are consuming the only place you have ever known, you turn back and follow his lead into the shadowed woods.
