The bad things never really leave a person. Noone just looses their trauma, but you learn to better deal with it, although certain things still stay.
Rae still flinched whenever Sherbert holds a sword but Sherbert has learned not to hold one when Rae is around.
Sherbert struggles with fighting with a bow. Never able to shoot the arrow at the Skeleton or Zombie. They tell people they prefer close range fighting. Learning to fight with an Axe from Aax.
While his partners could both see fairly good in the dark. Caspian always had a lamp with him or turned all lights on. Hating when it was to dark. The rooms always felt smaller and colder to him.
Those where things that would alway stay but they learned to deal with it.
