The Game
1
Lucas, Mike, and El had been off hunting and gathering. They managed to gather some wild carrots and onions and were lucky enough to shoot down an elk, so they had plenty to bring back to the rest of the party. Will and Max wanted to join them, but Max had been pretty badly scraped up in their last battle, so Will was busy healing her. They asked Dustin if he wanted to come along, but he said it sounded boring and instead he was going to barter with Steve, the local shopkeep and try to get them more items.
They returned to their little tavern, El excitedly bounding up and giving their secret knocks on the door before bouncing in, "We were successful!"
Mike and Lucas followed in after her with simple chuckles to each other. Max was laughing and shoving Dustin over as the boy complained loudly about how unfair Steve was and how the man refused to give them anything except water without gold or something worthy to trade. Will was stifling his laughter as he watched them, instantly perking up as Mike, Lucas, and El walked through the door. He clapped his hands, "That's great El! So you guys managed to get a lot?"
Lucas nodded his head and flopped onto their couch, "Yep! Man, you should have seen it Will! My arrow speared that Elk perfectly! A PERFECT hit!"
El hummed, "Yes. Mike almost got us lost at one point though."
Mike groaned and tossed his head back, "That was a fluke! Thankfully El had enough Insight to get us through though."
They all chuckled at Mike's misfortune for a moment before Mike confidently strode over to Will and over-dramatically knelt in front of him. Will chuckled at him and blinked down in surprise.
"Will, my love, my darling! I have brought you a feast!" The paladin declared as he picked up Will's hand and pressed a fond kiss to the back of his hand.
Will's face grew red and he bit at his bottom lip, letting a few soft giggles past, "Why thank you, my sweet paladin."
"Ughhhh c'mon. I thought we agreed no PDA in the tavern." Dustin groaned, falling onto his back on the floor with a pout.
Will pulled away from Mike and chuckled at the other boy, "Sorry Dustin."
"You're just jealous." Mike stated firmly as he stood from the floor, yanking Will close.
"Jealous?! I literally have a girlfriend!" Dustin gawked at him.
"Yeah Dustin does, but Dustin the Bard doesn't." Mike raised a brow at the other boy.
"What!?" Dustin huffed, glaring at the couple before whipping his head around to stare at Eddie who gave the boy a snicker and a shrug, "He's correct Henderson. Suzie's not exactly in game so..."
Dustin sunk in his chair grumbling about how unfair the game was. Eddie then ducked back behind his DM shield, "So! Mike the Paladin, El the Mage, and Lucas the Ranger did in fact bring about numerous goodies from their hunt!"
The party took a minute to happily cheer on the three for what they brought back, then Eddie interrupted, "However, none of you know how to cook."
Groans then rung out from the table. Max chuckling a bit, "Damn. How the hell did we over look that?"
Will hummed and piped up, "Oh! I think I have a spell that can help!"
Eddie grinned a sideways grin and looked over some things on his sheet, "Go ahead and roll and find out how your little cooking spell goes! But beware Will the Wise, your mana is awfully low from healing your Zoomer. If you use it all up, who knows what'll happen." His hands hovered around mysteriously.
"How the hell do you manage to make cooking seem dangerous?" Dustin questioned, scrunching his nose at the other.
Eddie shrugged with a mischievous glint in his eyes. Will scooped up his die and hummed, "We should make this worth it." His eyebrows furrowed in thought, then he grinned, "Ah! I want to infuse the meal with healing magic as well!"
"Ahhh.... very smart move of you Will the Wise. Go on and roll a D10. Let's see what happens." Eddie grinned in a sing-songy voice as he gestured to the die.
Will tossed the die down and everyone went silent as they inspected it. Finally it stopped and Will let out a questioning hum, "It's a 6?"
Eddie went quiet and seemed to either be calculating or thinking very hard about what he was about to say. Finally he continued with the game:
Will gathered all the ingredients from Mike the Paladin and managed to track down a huge pot Dustin had stolen ages ago. He tossed the ingredients in with some water and closed his eyes in concentration. A soft glow emitted from the wizards hands as he gently mumbled words from spells on his lips. There was a blinding light within the pot, then it dulled and awaiting in the pot was a fine Elk and veggie stew. Will the Wise, however, used up an absurd amount of mana and fell backwards unable to stand anymore.
"Will!" Mike gasped out, rushing forwards and catching Will in his arms.
Will wasn't unconscious, just extremely exhausted, he smiled up at Mike and gave him a soft squeeze, "I'm alright. Just tired."
Mike sighed softly and pressed a kiss to the weary Wizard's forehead, "I'll bring you some stew. You should eat before we rest."
Mike carefully stood up and turned to see Lucas taking a careful sip of the stew before his eyes widened, "Woah! This is amazing!" His health also slightly rose as he ate.
The whole party then happily partook in the soup, all being fully healed when they emptied their bowls. Will was tucked in the corner of the couch, basically in Mike's lap, they fed each other spoons of the stew.
"You two are disgustingly adorable." Max scrunched up her face.
"Yeah. You're going to get cooties." Dustin teased.
Mike simply flipped them off as Will dozed in his paladin's arms.

The party was currently sneaking by a dozing minotaur. Dustin the Bard was aiding their sneaking by playing a soothing lullaby, but El was on standby in case he needed protection. Mike, Will, and Lucas were slowly inching through the brush, careful not to step on any twigs or things that would make too much noise. Max, being the zoomer that she was, had ran through quickly only stepping on a few things here and there. She was awaiting them on the other side of the long clearing, waving at them to hurry up.
Lucas held his breath as he was next to continue his way through. He managed to just barely side-step a brush of thorns and decided to just dive into the other side of the clearing. He lost a few health points for that, but managed to safely land on the other side.
Will stumbled over his feet and had let out a soft squeak of surprise as a bat flew out of a bush he had accidentally elbowed, but he hadn't made enough noise to wake the monster.
It was then Mike's turn. He was basically army crawling his way to the other side when something caught his eyes. Not very far away was a small patch of daisies. The paladin gasped out in awe, Daisies were Will's absolute favorite flowers!
"Michael Wheeler! Don't you dare!" Lucas hissed at him from their hiding spot behind a fallen tree.
Will peeped over the trunk of the tree curiously eyeing Mike who was eyeing the daisy patch and he fought to suppress a laugh and a blush.
The paladin ignored his party member's request and quickly rushed to the daisies. Dustin spotted him out of his peripheral vision and his eyes widened comically, turning and shooting questioning looks at the others.
Max and Lucas caught Dustin's look and simply shrugged and rolled their eyes. Dustin, having panicked at seeing Mike, had lost focus in his song. The minotaur gave an angry stomp of his hoof and slid it along the ground.
"Shit!" Dustin hissed out and took of running.
El hurried to cast a spell to slow the minotaur and it worked, buying them time. Dustin ran over and grabbed Mike's arm, hastily pulling him away with El following behind them. Once the entire party got to the other side of the forest and were safe from the minotaur's clutches, Max smacked Mike upside the head.
"Ow! What the heck Max?" Mike complained.
"What the heck Max!? Ummm What the heck MIKE!" Lucas panted, "You're such an idiot sometimes."
Mike huffed at them before dusting himself off and perking up as he moved over to Will. He held out his fist which held a bouquet of daisies, only a few were slightly crushed from their tumbling out of the forest.
Will blushed and chuckled at the taller, but took the bouquet anyways and pressed up to kiss Mike's lips quickly.
"Will!" El groaned, "Do not encourage him!"
Will snickered softly as he pulled off Mike who was staring down at him dazed, "The flowers are very pretty, thank you Mike. Just maybe try not to put yourself in danger like that again?"
Mike tossed an arm around Will's shoulder and hummed, "I'll try. You got to admit though. It was kind of romantic right?"
Will fiddled with the daisies, weaving them into a crown and settling it on his head before giving a nod, "Very romantic."

Dustin panted in exertion as he barely managed to dodge a club that was being swung at him from the angry one-eyed monster in front of him. Lucas managed to knock him back a bit with his slingshot and some heavy weights, but it only angered the ogre more.
Max was rushing around setting up traps, but running out of energy fairly quickly. El was resting behind a rock, trying to recover as she had used a pretty hefty spell at the beginning of the battle and managed to sever one of the ogre's arms.
"Where the hell are Mike and Will?" Lucas panted, stretching his aching arms as he just dodged another swipe from the ogre.
Max just managed to pull a rope taught around a couple stumps, before she paused to rest. Her head popped up however as she heard rustling and sounds coming from behind a nearby boulder. Was it possible the Ogre had minions? She yanked out a dagger she was equipped with and stalked over to the boulder. When she snuck around it, however her arm fell and she just let out simple, "damn it."
Behind the boulder sat Mike who had Will pressed flush against a boulder and was kissing him passionately. Mike dove his head down to kiss and nip at Will's shoulder and neck area, and Will chuckled softly. Will's eyes fluttered open and then widened in surprise and embarrassment, he gently tapped at Mike, "Mike... Mike.. Mi-" His voice betrayed him as Mike's nibbling pulled a soft gasp out of him before he whined, "Michael!"
Mike pulled off and looked to Will questioningly, "What's wrong?"
Will pulled his hat down to cover his blazing cheeks as he gestured over to where Max was standing, arms crossed and tapping her foot. Mike turned over to look at her and raised a brow nonchalantly, "What's up Max?"
"What's up!? We are in the middle of a battle!" Max hissed.
Mike scoffed, "I know! And Will was healing me Maxine!"
"Healing you? Really Michael?" Max groaned, "And just where were you injured huh? Your lips?"
Mike just shot her a smug look, "You really want me to answer that?"
"Just get the fuck out there!" Max huffed at them, shooing them away.
Will nodded, "She's right Mike. We need to go help."
"Fine." Mike grumbled, but stood and yanked his sword out regardless.
Will moved out and over to Eleven, carefully sliding a healing hand in soothing circles on her back and shooting her an apologetic smile, "Sorry I'm late."
El just grunted to him, but curled close to her brother to absorb as much of his healing as possible. They watched Lucas knock the ogre backwards and into Max's trap, then Mike used his enchanted sword to quickly swipe and sever the beast's head.
"About time you showed up." Lucas complained, crossing his arms over his chest.
Mike turned and gave them a sheepish smile, "Sorry guys. Didn't realize the ogre was that powerful."
Dustin sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, "Where even were you?"
"Ummmmm..." Mike scrambled for an excuse.
"Making out with Will." Max stated.
"During the battle? Again Mike?" Dustin tossed his arms up in exasperation.
"Hey! Last time wasn't my fault!" Mike argued.
"How wasn't it your fault? Your the one who kissed him!" Lucas huffed.
"Becauseeee last time, Lucas, we were making out before the battle started. We didn't even know there was a battle until you guys dragged us out." The paladin shrugged.
The party all groaned, heads slamming into the table and causing a few things to rattle around. Dustin shot Eddie a look as the DM cackled behind his separator, "Eddie, can I entrance Mike to walk off a cliff?"
Eddie cackles just grew and he tossed Dustin a D20, "If you can roll above a 15."
Mike paled and squawked, "What the hell Dustin!?"
Dustin rolled the die and cursed, "A fucking 2."
Eddie banged his fist on the table, wheezing, "You try to play a song to entrance Mike into walking off a cliff, but instead tender emotional music plays entrancing Mike to walk over to Will, yank him up, and dip him down into the most passionate kiss any of you have ever seen. The entrancing kiss renders Will the Wise stunned and unable to heal for two days."
"TWO DAYS!?" Lucas gaped, "Dustin!"
Dustin was slamming his head onto the table repeatedly, "Fuck fuck fuck."
Will was blushing, but puffed out his cheeks in irritation, "No fair."
Mike was stifling his laughter, but pressed a kiss to Will's cheek, "It'll be alright. We've still got some of your stew left and El can do some minor healing spells."
At Mike's suggestions the party relaxed a bit and their chatter went back to regular teasing as they continued on their adventure.

Since the Ogre was apparently a huge pest to the local farmers in the area, they graciously thanked the party with free drinks and a small sum of silver coins. The party exchanged excited looks and immediately ran off to Steve's shop to see what they could buy.
Steve groaned, "Ah, it's you guys again. I've already told you, I'm not trading for dirt Dustin!"
"No worries Steve! This time we have," Dustin paused to shove the coin bag in the air, "Actual money!"
Steve's eyes widened in slight surprise before he shrugged, "Oh? Well.. okay then. Feel free to browse."
"Okay, so we only have 10 silver pieces. We should really think hard about what we're going to buy." Lucas stated firmly as he counted the coins.
The group then split off, each looking around at the shelves. Lucas was inspecting some boots that seemed sturdier than his own, Max picked on him by stating how ugly they were, but noting her own boots were getting worse for wear. Dustin picked up several bottles of potions and Steve tried to stop him from poking and prodding the items. Will and Mike were both strolling through, hands intertwined and swinging back and forth.
Mike only paused when he noticed Will's eyes catch on something and the other boy stopped in his tracks. Will yanked a book off the shelf and dusted it off, "Oh wow."
The taller boy peeked his head over Will's shoulder and hummed, "What's that?"
"Just another spellbook, but this one has some really interesting ones I learned about a long time ago. I can't believe Steve has it." He beamed.
Mike looked over Will's face, his big eyes and lips spread into a really wide grin, his mind was set, "Let's buy it."
"What? No. Mike. It's-" Will paused to look at the price, "It's 8 silver pieces Mike! That's over half of our money."
Mike eyed Will mischievously and the other boy's eyes narrowed, "Michael." he hummed warningly.
The black haired boy sighed and pretended to give up on it, causing Will to relax before he snatched up the book and took off.
"MIKE!" Will shouted, rushing after him.
Lucas was eyeing a pair of sturdy boots and a cloak that was said to have an invisibility spell on it, when Mike suddenly pushed his way through him and Max, laughing. Will was soon after calling out, "Michael! C'mon! Give it back!"
"What was all that about?" Max grumbled as Lucas helped her up.
"Just those two being their dumbass selves I guess." Lucas rolled his eyes and finally swiped the boots from the table, "Okay, let's go meet up with Dustin and see what he has."
When they got to the counter where Dustin was however, he was standing with his jaw-dropped at Mike and Steve.
"What's going on?" Lucas questioned eyeing the scene in front of him.
Dustin's eyes fell on Lucas and he huffed, "Mike just bought a book for eight silver."
"What? No. I mean. I have the pouch right her-" Lucas went to grab the pouch from his belt before realizing it was no longer there. His head dropped and then he shot a glare at Mike.
Mike snickered and tossed the pouch back to Lucas, "Sorry bud."
"What the hell Mike? Also. Eight silver?! For a BOOK?" Lucas groaned.
"Well- I-I mean. It's not just a book.. It's a spell book." Will tried to explain.
"Ah. That explains it." Max sighed.
"Explains what?" Dustin inquired, "Explains why Mike bought a BOOK?"
Mike tossed a shrug their way, "Will wanted it."
Lucas and Dustin looked to each other before looking at Will with an exhausted look. Will quickly held up his hands, "I um. I mean I did, but I tried to get him not to buy it guys!"
"Mike. You can't just buy things with our money, the little money we have, because Will WANTS it." Dustin groans and messages his temples.
Mike clicked his tongue, "Yeah, but I mean-" He paused, "You try saying no to that face!" he pointed to Will who was holding the book already several pages in. When Will looked up and caught them staring he blushed and ducked his head, "Sorry."
Dustin sighed and ran a hand down his face, "Does it even have any good spells Will?"
Will peeped his eyes over the cover and then slammed the book shut, he walked over and gently scooped up the two leftover silver coins. He cupped them and a soft glow ran through his fingers, when he opened his hands there were four gold coins. He offered them to Lucas, "I um- as a peace offering. The boots are four right?"
Lucas relaxed and took the coins from Will, "Yeah. Thanks Will." He shot a glare over to Mike, "But you! Don't think I haven't realized this isn't the first time this has happened."
"It's happened before?" El piped up from where she was sliding Steve a bottle of Ogre blood and he passed back a scarf that was emitting a glow.
Dustin gaped at Steve in mock offense as Lucas nodded, "Last time when we got paid Mike bought Will a hat because, and I quote, 'Will was making the cutest face staring at it'."
Max sighed, "And that's not mentioning the time before when he bought Will a magic quill because Will thought it was pretty."
"And ALL of those things came in handy didn't they?!" Mike huffed, arms crossed and staring at the others.
Lucas, Max, and Dustin then avoided eye contact and shuffled around.
Mike hummed and nodded, "Of course they did." he gently knocked his shoulder with Will's, "Because Will the Wise here has an eye for the best things... and doesn't waste our money on junk." He eyed Dustin who tossed his hands up, "I bought that flying pig ONCE!"
"And then it flew away and never came back!" Mike stated, "We didn't even get to cook it!"
Dustin scoffed, "I never would have killed Penny! And she WILL be back....one day."
Steve suddenly cut in, "Okay, since you guys got your stuff and all, can you maybe... continue with your big journey or whatever and stop bothering me?"

"So you see Miss Robin, you should definitely hire us because we have many skills as a team. We've already beaten an ogre AND faced off with a minotaur!." Lucas was spieling with arms wide to a lady who looked more than done with the team of rag-tag adventurers.
"Yeah yeah, you've said all this before, but my chest full of treasures was stolen by demons!" Miss Robin stressed, "You need much more than some rinky dink glowy healing powers and sheer luck."
"Okay okay. Listen. Miss Robin, is it?" Mike hummed as he strolled in front of Lucas, shoving him back.
"Yes, that is my name."
"Now listen. Our party may seem relatively weak when compared to bigger ones, but we have something they don't have." Mike grinned at her.
"Oh? Go on then?" The bakery mistress peered around at the party, then stared at Mike inquisitively. The other party members also glanced at each other before staring at Mike with brows raised in curiosity.
"We have a Wizard. One that is far better than any of the other!" Mike bragged.
Instantly the party fell into groans, and Lucas even smacked his hand against his forehead as he dragged his hand down his face. Will's face blazed red and he inched over to the paladin.
"Ha! You realize there are many Wizards in this world?" The woman snickered giving Will a once-over.
"Yes, but our Wizard is the best of the best. He's massively intelligent and has mastered two different spells." Mike continued to brag, glaring at the bakery clerk and ignoring Will as the wizard tugged at his sleeve.
"Boy, I've known wizards that have levelled cities with their powers!"
"Yeah? Well all those other wizards may have great powers, but they aren't as intelligent as Will the Wise! He's got the wits as well as the powers. He has helped us out of so many puzzles and riddles I've completely lost count! Plus he's the most handsome wizard out there, and when he get's really into a puzzle or a battle you should see how cute his face is." Mike began rambling, glare softening and smile growing on his face.
Will whined in embarrassment and gave a tug to Mike's arm, "Michael!" he hissed before bowing quickly to the lady, "I am so so sorry for him Ma'am, we'll just get out of your bakery and be on our way."
The girl however stopped him with a gentle hand on his shoulder, "Hold up there son." she paused to look him over, "Are you truly a master of puzzles and riddles?"
The wizard blushed and fidgeted with his hat, "I-I mean, I wouldn't sa-"
"Yes! I've already told you! He's never not correctly solved a puzzle or riddle during a quest!" Mike huffed, pulling Will close.
"Mike, c'mon.." Will sighed weakly.
"What? Can I not brag about my boyfriend?" Mike argued with the other teasingly.
"No it's just-"
"Alright. I grant your party permission to take my quest." The lady suddenly cut in, holding the quest scroll out to Will.
"Um.. wh-what?" Will stammered glancing from the scroll to the lady and back.
"I can tell your party has not only the power and intelligence to succeed, but the heart as well." The lady grinned at them. She teasingly elbowed Will, "Your paladin would never let anything hurt you and I'm willing to bet you wouldn't let anything happen to your paladin. That's true love right there." She glanced at the other party members, "Plus the rest of you seem to be awfully chummy with each other. You seem perfect for my quest."
Will was a blushing, stuttering mess, so Dustin quickly swooped in and grabbed the scroll. He grinned and bowed to the lady, "We shall do our very best Miss Robin!"
Mike gave Miss Robin a nod and a big grin as he led Will from the bakery, "Have a nice day Lady Robin!"
"Of course, you lot stay safe out there, and I expect an invitation to the wedding when your journey is over!" Robin quickly shouted out as they left.

They were making their way through a particularly rocky cavern, the sounds of dripping water against wet rock echoing around them. El was leading the way this time, glowing scarf lighting their way just enough for them to make out their surroundings. They all paused as they came to a river with rocks spaced out just enough for them to make their way across. Lucas insisted on going first, making sure they were safe as he hopped along them. When he made it halfway, Max quickly joined. Dustin followed behind them, then El, then Will. Mike followed along behind Will, but let out a surprised yelp as he slipped and fell into the water.
Will's breath had caught and he swung around, hissing, "Mike!" worriedly.
Thankfully, the water was not deep at all. "I'm okay." Mike grumbled, shooting a glare at the rest of the party as they started snickering at him.
Will walked over and helped him up, "A-are you sure? You're not hurt? Not anywhere?" he worriedly glanced over the boy.
"Will, I'm fine really." He chuckled, then hissed softly as he looked to his hands which were scraped up from the rocks.
"You hurt your hands." Will hummed examining them.
"Yeah, but there not too bad, I'll be-" Mike started explaining before noting Will's hands glowing as he held Mike's hands in his own. After a few seconds, his hands were completely healed up and back to normal. Mike shot the wizard a fond look and pressed a kiss to his cheek, "Thanks love."
Will blushed and hummed, "Not a problem."
"Okay lovebirds, c'mon, we've got places to be." Max called back to them as they had begun moving forwards.
Mike and Will quickly caught up and they continued into the cavern. After a few more hours of slowly moving along they had a small battle with an army of bats that had attacked when Dustin let out a high pitched and obnoxious sneeze.
The party managed just fine, health only very slightly lowered and El actually managing to gather some bat wings that would fetch them some coins on the market. While Will was walking alongside Mike again, his eye caught on Mike's knees which were scraped up and bruised. Mike noticed the look and rubbed his neck embarrassed, "I kind of tripped and fell on my knees when those bats popped up."
Will gave a simple hum and paused their walking to place his hands onto Mike's knees and heal them. Mike watched him with a soft chuckle and a shake of his head, "Thanks Will."
"Can't have you wondering around with bruised knees." Will excused as they continued forwards.
The next obstacle came in form of a puzzle. The team wondered around trying to figure out where a hidden door was stashed in the walls of the cavern. Lucas was groaning in irritation as he continued pushing on stalagmites, insisting one was going to be a secret lever or something. Dustin had gone a different route and was knocking on the walls with his ear pressed against it. Will read the inscription on the wall over and over trying to find some sort of hint in the ancient writing left for them.
Max's voice suddenly lilted in, "Geez Mike can you stomp any louder?"
"Excuse you Maxine, but when I find a stone that's loose somewhere here I demand an apology." Mike shot back, stomping his foot on an oddly shaped rock and glancing around.
"I do not know how a rock on the ground could be loose." El hummed confused.
"Don't worry about it El. Mike's just dumb, c'mon, let's keep looking for more inscriptions." Max tossed her arm around El's shoulder and walked off with her. She paused to stick her tongue out teasingly at Mike, who just huffed and stuck out his tongue back.
Mike suddenly yelped sending all the party glancing back at him as the whole room seemed to quake. The paladin had tripped over one of his rocks and fallen into a wall that sunk beneath his weight and a door was slowly rising up from the wall next to him.
Dustin tossed his arms in the air, "I was right!"
"Right, but in the wrong place." Lucas snickered at the other boy.
Max shot Mike a look, "This doesn't count."
"It totally does Max!" Mike argued from where he was drawing his foot back from the rock he tripped over.
Will walked over, "Good job finding it!"
Mike beamed, "Thanks!" He then went to step forwards and winced, "Damn. I messed up my ankle though. Geez."
In less than a second, Will was settling down and picking up Mike's ankle. He whispered words and his hands glowed, he then let go and stood, wrapping his hand around Mike's bicep and walking forwards with him.
"Man, you are just the best wizard boyfriend ever." Mike laughed.
"You're welcome." Will laughed happily in response.
They had stopped and set up a little camp to rest after a few more hours of venturing around the secret tunnel. Mike was showing off his swordsmanship, quickly yanking it from his sheath and flipping it around several times. He waggled his eyebrows and shot a wink at Will who was watching him with a soft chuckle and hooded eyes when suddenly the hilt of his sword popped Mike in the face. The boy grunted and whined a bit and the others in the party all began cackling. Dustin even fell off the rock he was sitting on, wheezing in efforts to stop the laughter. Will rushed over to Mike, stifling his own giggles and examined the boys face.
"Oof. I've wounded my pride." Mike shot Will a grin, "Can you heal that my love?"
Will rolled his eyes and chuckled happily, "No, but I can heal that nasty cut you've got where you busted your lips."
Mike grinned and shrugged his shoulders, "Better than nothing I guess."
Will simply chuckled at him and pressed their lips together, Will's hands cupped Mike's face and the glow was back. When the wizard moved away the cut had vanished from Mike's lips and the boy was beaming down at him.
"Ugh. Will!" Max called out from where she was leaning against a rock.
"Hmm?" Will called out, turning to face the girl.
"I have a massive headache, you think you can use your healing magic?" She questioned him.
Will's face suddenly melted into a guilty look and the girl levelled him with a look, "What?"
"I-I may have used up my healing magic on Mike today." He stated.
Lucas sighed and dropped his head shaking it for a moment, "You two are hopeless."
Max caught Will's eyes, shaking her head, "I was expecting this from Michael, but you Will?"
Will pouted a bit and shrugged his shoulders, "I can't help it! I hate seeing that little face he makes when he hurts." He whined and turned to stare at Mike.
Mike just laughed and moved to sit next to Will, pulling him close, "She's just jealous she doesn't have her own personal healer."
El placed a hand on Max's knee and gave her a soft smile, "I am not as good as Will, but I can help."
Max smiled at El and blushed softly, "Yeah. Yeah okay."
"Ugh. Not you two too!" Dustin groaned out.
El and Max giggled at each other and Max called out, "Don't worry Dustin. We'll never be as bad as those two."
"Yeah. They are on a different level." El chimed.
"The BEST level." Mike shot back with a grin as he smooched Will's cheek with an obnoxious smacking noise.
Will laughed at him and cuddled close to his paladin, "Yeah. The best level."
