"Guess what Ino-Pig?" Asked Sakura in a mocking tone, upon approaching Ino.
"What is it Forehead?" She replied, gritting her teeth.
"I almost kissed Sasuke today." She proudly proclaimed.
That got her attention. "What? No way."
"Yes way. It was so romantic, you could never experience anything close to it. He came up to me and told me how charming my forehead was, and then he sat next to me and we almost kissed. But then he got nervous and ran away. But it almost happened."
Ino copied her smug expression and shot back, "He probably realized how big your forehead really is up close and changed his mind." She crossed her arms.
"Well your overall ugliness doesn't even need to be seen up close in order to keep Sasuke away. So I'd say I'm still winning. I may not have gotten to be Sasuke's first kiss, but he is still going to be mine."
Ino furrowed her brow at this. Oh, really? She quickly softened her expression.
"Sakura~"
Sakura quirked a brow at her rival who was now untying her hair, allowing it to flow freely.
"What are you doing?" She asked.
Ino lightly caressed her face and Sakura found herself unable to move as she quickly planted a light kiss on her lips, and then swiftly pulled away and walked off back to her teammates.
What just happened? Sakura thought to herself, confused and red faced.
"What's so funny?" Asked Shikamaru as Ino chuckled to herself.
"Oh nothing... Sakura made a foolish mistake by telling me that she almost kissed Sasuke. It was way too close for comfort so I decided to seize her first kiss before he can."
Choji continued mindlessly eating. Shikamaru started chuckling now.
Ino placed her hands on her hips, "What's so funny to you now?"
"You do realize that makes her your first kiss too? Can't give it to Sasuke anymore."
Her eyes widened, "WHAT?!" She glared, raising her fist.
"SAKURA!" Ino ran away to find her again, wanting to somehow take her first kiss back.
