Kyoutani wouldn’t admit it, however, he really loved cuddling. One of his favorite things to do was snuggle up with blankets and stuffed animals. It was his comfort and he dreamed of being able to cuddle with his boyfriend.
See, he and Yahaba have been dating for a week or so now. But they haven’t hung out outside of school. Kyoutani’s parents weren’t exactly the best people, however it’s not like he saw them a lot. He basically lived alone. So, he decided to invite Yahaba over to stay the night (after awkwardly fidgeting with his hands and his boyfriend kissing his forehead to calm him down).
So here he was, walking hand in hand with his boyfriend. School had just ended 15 minutes ago and they were both already almost at Kyoutani’s house.
Once they got there, the blonde opened the front door and invited the brunette into the mud room. They both slipped off their shoes and Kyoutani started to get nervous. How was he supposed to ask to cuddle? Did he even ask or did it just happen? He had no clue, he’d never really been with anyone before.
“Darling, what’s wrong?” Yahaba asked as he watched his boyfriend fidget nervously with his nails (like he did when he wanted to ask something but was too anxious).
The blonde boy looked up at his boyfriend before looking away again, “Um..c-can..nevermind.” Kyoutani’s face morphed into something of frustration and anxiousness. The brunette boy frowned slightly, stepping forward and reaching out to the blonde.
“What’s wrong, Kyou..?” The boy asked, placing a soft kiss on Kyoutani’s forehead.
“Can we uhm…cuddle?” The blonde asked, his face going a light shade of pink.
“Oh honey of course.” Yahaba smiled softly and pulled the blonde into his arms. The two went upstairs to Kyoutani’s room.
Kyoutani’s room was messy, but in an organized way. There were band posters on the walls, road signs that Yahaba can only guess he stole, and a pride flag hanging in the window. There was a pretty large bookshelf full of books, some looked brand new, others looked used. Succulents and other plants were scattered around, there was a desk with several candles and crystals. There were two incense holders, one on his desk, one on a windowsill near his bed. His bed was covered with fluffy blankets thrown lazily over a black and red comforter. He had his bed post draped with red curtains, matching his bed. Stuffed animals (mainly squishmallows of various sizes) were covering a corner of his bed near the wall.
Yahaba sat on the edge of Kyoutani’s bed and pulled the blonde into his lap. He gave a small smile, peppering the blonde’s face in kisses. Kyoutani slumped against his boyfriend, nuzzling his head into the crook of his neck. Yahaba smiled, kissing his head and pulling him to lay down.
Kyoutani snuggled close to his boyfriend’s neck, the other boy’s arms snaking around his waist. Kyoutani pulled one of the fluffy blankets over them both, smiling softly before placing a gentle kiss on the brunette’s collarbone.
“Are you tired, honey?” Yahaba asked softly as he heard the blonde let out a soft yawn. Nodding, the blonde looked up at his boyfriend. Yahaba leaned down to give Kyoutani a gentle kiss, the blonde pushing himself forward to chase his boyfriend’s lips. Kyoutani climbed into his boyfriend’s lap as they lazily made out, Kyoutani and Yahaba both getting tired.
Reluctantly, the two pulled away, Kyoutani snuggling back into his boyfriend’s comfortable grasp. The brunette hummed, kissing his boyfriend’s head.
“If you're tired, go ahead and take a nap, puppy.” Yahaba whispered as his boyfriend nuzzled into him again.
A little while longer and they both drifted off to sleep.
