I wish I could talk to you
Pull my chair right up next to you,
And talk to you
Chad Danforth thought he had everything figured out. He had a girlfriend and he was on the varsity basketball team. His bestfriend Troy was in a relationship, and so was he. But why did he feel so jealous.
Chad couldn't help but feel angry at his friend. Why had Troy chosen Gabriella over everyone else. Gabriella was a great girl she was smart, pretty, and according to Troy was great at giving head. Chad tried to forgot that part.Taylor and him have not gotten very far. Sure he had asked for a blowjob once, that didn't not go very well. Taylor was a very respectful girl after all, but Chad; Well Chad is a teenage boy after all.
This leads us to now. "Troy, wait up man!" Chad yelled out while his finshed putting on his shoes in the lockeroom after practice. Troy just kept on walking out of the locker area and into the hall leading out.
"Hey, hey, Troy man wait up! I thought we we were going to your house later today?" Troy turned to him with tears running down his face and onto his now tear stained Wildcat t-shirt.
"Woah, hey-" Chad was now whispering while he held on to Troy's arm. "Troy what's wrong I haven't seen you cry since we were kids." Chad only saw Troy cry once when they were kids. They were only around seven when it happened, Troy and him had been in his backyard playing in the Tree house Troy's dad had built for him the year before where. They heard a weird meowing noise coming from above them before they could go get help the cat fell. It's neck snapping on the fall down when it hit a branch. Mrs.Bolton came to help us burry it. Troy cried the whole time. That was the only time Chad had seen him cry.
Troy still said nothing as he looked down. Troy noticed that Chad still had a grip on his arm. He was snapped out of trance when Chad called out his name. Troy still did not speak as he pulled out his phone. Chad looked at the small screen and read what the text said. The text had been from Gabriella. "Troy, I'm sorry but it's not gonna work between us anymore. It feels like you don't love me anymore. You feel for someone else, I can't live like that Troy I'm gonna go my own way." As Chad read through the message Troy let out small shaky breathes. Troy was his best friend he could not see him like this.
Chad let go of his arm and put the jacket that was around his waist over his head. Chad pulled Troy into a hug next. Chad didn't know he was holding his breath but until the smell of Troy hit his nose. Troy finally spoke after sobbing quietly into Chad's warmth. "Why, I did everything right? Didn't I? I was a good boyfriend. I did everything right, right?" Troy looked into Chad's chocolate brown eyes with a look Chad couldn't quite figure out. A mix between sadness and loss.
"Of course Troy, your our captain after all. You could-" "NO" Troy screamed the sound muffled by Chad's broad chest. "I'm asking you as my bestfriend, I'm asking the person I grew up with. The person I love the most-" Troy's sentence was cut off by a broken sob.
Chad didn't know what to say. Did Troy love him the most? Was this what Chad had been hoping he would say all along? Chad decided that complex thinking could wait until his bestfriend was alright. Chad kept rubbing circles on Troy's back and whispering in his ear words of approval.
After sometime Troy and Chad and sat down against one of the cenderbrick walls in the small hall. Troy in his lap with his arms around his neck. Troy's fingers had found their way into the burnett's curls. Playing with the small curls watching them go up after he pulled them down.
"We should get going now. It's probably dark outside now. Your parents are probably wondering why we haven't come back from practice yet." Chad spoke softly to Troy as if he was something fragile. Troy moved his head from Chad's shoulder to look at him. Troy moved his head close to Chad's and pressed their foreheads together.
Their lips were close Troy's breath on his lips were almost to much. Troy's grip on his hair moved up higher to grab more as he closes the gap between them. Chad let out a surprised noise, as Troy continued to lazily kiss his lips.
The sound of their lips connecting sounding impossiblely loud in the quite room. Right as Chad went to kiss back Troy back away. An embarrassing noise was produced from their lips un-connecting.
Troy had tears in his eyes again as he pulled away. Chad lifted a hand to wipe them away but Troy dodged his touch and leaving his lap. Troy stood up and looked down at Chad. With a devastating look on his face. His blue eyes blood shot from crying for so long. His lips slightly parted and his pink tongue pushed against his perfect teeth.
"Troy wait!" Troy said nothing as he grabbed his stuff and headed for the door. His footsteps echoing in the lockeroom, as the door slammed. Great. Not only was Troy gone, but he kissed Troy. Chad touched his lips and remembered the feeling of Troy's lips on his.
