RESEARCH: Gold coins Value and Size

Summary:

In my research paper regarding the estimated value of gold coins, we will use the bulk bag's capacity/volume and the size/volume of white bread, and how much bread will it take to fill a bulk bag.

One gold coin is enough for a bulk bag full of bread, with leftover change.

 NOTICE: this research had already been studied back 09/03/2021 by myself on discord, the credits will be given but overall gathered research is mine.

This is for fanfiction writers looking for exact measurements and values of gold coins, and how much they have to write cale struggling carrying all those bread. You don't have to give credit, but I would be thankful others use my research as a first response to how much are gold coins cost.

Notes:

I have two friends that have a good memory and would be able to help me with further research for a variety of topics, like how many silver coins for skewers (but everyone could calculate that already so I dropped it)

I'm on a project for how the mana in the LCF world are interacting with the environment and overall rules, but the progress is really slow and I'm just one person researching so it's on hiatus.

I thought it good to research and learn skills about compiling data and etc.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Sizes and Measurements

Bulk bags are 35x35x35 inches. and could hold 42,875 cubic inches or 25 cubic feet (1) Basic volumes of white bread are 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches and their overall are 95.625 inches x 3 (2)

How much bread can fill up a bulk sack?

So dividing the volume of the bulk sack with the volume of white bread, we can see that roughly 448.399013072 bread could fit in the bulk sack (or 448 after rounding off)

Cost

White bread costs 2.50 dollars (3) so by multiplying the amount per bread, I discovered that the 448 amount of bread had a worth of 1120 dollars.

By converting dollars to Korean Won ₩, the 1,120 dollars worth 1,296,567.01 Won

Gold coin size

I calculated all of the coin sizes in a pure-gold-per-gram online calculator and chose the coin that is the closest to the result. So 22.68 grams of pure gold coins worth 1,320 dollars and 1,320 dollars worth 1,534,819.87 Korean Won

The size of the gold coin is what the coin of liberty at 1972 is, and I'm gonna sleep.

Simplified Results

[Added as a Summary for Fanfic Authors]

[The Above is a mere Explanation for my Conclusion]

The overall Cost of 448 of bread able to fit in a Bulk Sack: 1120 Dollars $ = 1,296,567.01 Korean Won ₩

The Cost will subtract the Value of Gold Coins

The Gold Coin Size:

Width = 38.1mm (1.5 inch)

Weight =  22.68g

Thickness = 2.58 mm

22.68g of Pure Gold Worth: 1,320 Dollars $ = 1,534,819.87 Korean Won ₩ Subtracting it with the Cost Results with; 200 Dollars = 238,252.86 Korean Won ₩

[My friend suggested a chapter about Comparisons and I thought it's a good idea to show regular Readers how absurdly rich Cale is with his pocket money alone, so I'll be focusing on that for a bit]

Notes:

Suggest me an idea of what I should do next and I'll see if it's possible, chapter numbers are welcome.

Progress with researching might take a while.

EDIT: The requests are still up, I'm in a hospital (again?) so I'll be able to use the free time with the Comparisons chapter so I won't be able to fill another topic in my schedule but I'm curious about your requests :/
