She was always known as the bad seed. Everyone thought she had so much potential, but threw it away. Lily-Rose Morello is every parent's nightmare. On the outside, she looked like a total stone cold badass. She looked like someone to be afraid of, someone to stay away from. The epitome of bad news. She had tattoos, regularly got drunk, and was always stirring up trouble. Of course, she was beautiful, but her beauty was different. It was mysterious, ominous, like a fairy, but without the daintiness. She had shoulder length dark brown hair and thick lashed, piercing brown eyes that looked like they could penetrate your soul. While only being a mere 5'2, she had an amazing body. She had curves, while still keeping a toned and lithe build. As a result of her physical appearance, all eyes were constantly on her. She was different, to some people in a good way, and to others in a bad way.
Lily was a strong young woman. She was proud of that. Proud that she was confident in herself. Proud that she could stand her ground and take control of situations. She always thought that this was the strongest and most reliable part of herself. She didn't think that anyone would ever be able to break down her carefully built walls and see inside of her. View her thoughts and feel her feelings. That was until she met him.
Lily-Rose first saw Nate Jacobs at her best friend Cassie's boyfriend's house. She was pretty sure his name was McKay or something like that. He and Cassie had just started dating, so she wasn't too familiar with the boy. She had been invited to his party because of her close friendship with Cassie. When she arrived, there were already a few people there - Cassie, McKay's twin brothers and a few guys from the football team. Lily-Rose scanned the room and her eyes fell upon Nate Jacobs. She had heard rumblings about him around the school before. It seemed that everyone either wanted to fuck him or wanted to fucking be him. She had never actually spoken to him, nor had they ever acknowledged each other. She'd only occasionally seen him in the halls at school.
From a first glance, she could tell that the Jacobs boy was strikingly handsome. He had the body of a Greek god. He was undeniably tall, standing at an impressive six feet and four inches. She could see the traces of his defined muscles underneath his salmon pink cotton t-shirt, which he shed a few minutes after arriving. Lily-Rose was fascinated by Nate and continued subtly staring in his direction, trying to figure out what it was about him that intrigued her. After a minute, Nate looked her way and locked eyes with her. His bottomless brown eyes stared into hers and looked nowhere else. Both their orbs bore into each other and for a moment, she thought she could see a spark in his eyes. Almost like a firework candle was lit. After a few seconds that could have been confused with a few hours, they both quickly turned away. Neither dared to sneak a second glance. Lily-Rose suddenly felt slightly edgy due to this unanticipated encounter.
Soon later, Lily-Rose snapped out of her unwelcome daze and decided to find Cassie in hopes of getting drunk and faded as fuck. It was a party after all, and providing that she was planning to get high, there were going to be many guys perfectly suitable for a one-night stand. Lily-Rose made her way to Cassie, who was in the kitchen already seemingly halfway drunk. She had a slight giggle in her voice and the smile plastered on her face did not quite meet her eyes. It was not long until Lily-Rose was just as tipsy. She and Cassie drunkenly spoke about McKay and how in love with him Cassie was. They talked about school and about how much they would rather drink fucking bleach than attend literal hell on earth - East Highland High School. Lily-Rose suddenly got the urge to ask about Nate but quickly scorned herself for having such a thought. One thing she did know about Nate Jacobs was that he was angry and dangerous. While she wasn't exactly the greatest person either, she had limits and boundaries. Every shitty thing she did had a reason. If she ever fucked anyone over it was because they had it coming to them. Little did she know that in time, Nate Jacobs would come to know this too.
