No one knew it was you. The same bright-eyed gal who would come and betray the school.
Todoroki shut his eyes to reminisce the scenes that gave him suspicions about you. He should have reported this to the higher-ups but now it is late. Too late. The last thing he remembered is that you, revealing yourself as a traitor, the school in discord, he activated his quirk to help but before he could do that someone hit the back of his head, knocking him unconscious.
When he opened his eyes, he was in an unfamiliar place, dusty boxes. A vent on the side. It was dim but thanks for the small windows, there were light on the spot he is on.
The collapsible door of the warehouse rattles, announcing your arrival. He had woken up an hour ago. A gag on his mouth, his hands and feet bound tightly on the chair. He found himself facing the door and watching as you rolled it up, putting the key in the pocket of your skirt.
"Hi~" you smiled like a cat, mischevous eyes connected to his. Every time you got nearer, his misery grows. His anger fueled inside of his very being. You approached him and crouched to level your eyes, you pulled down the gag. You playfully caress his knee, sending shivers to him.
"Shoto, you know i'll do everything to have you." You flutter your eyes. "That's why you don't have to ask why." Standing up, you sweep away invisible dirt on your shirt and cross your hands to your chest. You feel very amused.
He was silent. He had no intention to respond your insanity.
"Oh, why so quiet?" He kept his silence. "Don't you wanna know how I teach the League of Villains to infiltrate U. A.?"
He shouldn't reply yet he feel it would be helpful. "How?"
You couldn't hear the mumble. "Huh?"
"How? How did you it? How did you betray your friends and U. A.?" he questioned in a firm tone.
"Good question, dearie. Well, it is mainly keeping an eye out, observing the strength and weaknesses of everyone." You stated, mimicking a teacher. "And correction, they were never my friends."
"They treated you like a friend."
"Jeez, I couldn't even stand them, especially her." You circled around the chair, like a predator stalking its prey.
"Momo always get dreamy-eyed when it comes to you. I hate the fact of her eating you with her eyes. That's why I proceed the plan in a faster pace, twice the hard work." He looks at your eyes and all he see is a merciless person with unhealthy obsession in your eyes. He remembered you as a girl who gets giddy or shy whenever you talk to someone. You even approach him once and started a conversation, you were also known as a pillar of support in the classroom, pumping them up with motivation. Now, you are oozing with insanity.
"I'm pretty sure she wouldn't mind, me having all of you for myself." He winced when you giggled. He had to try something to get out of this position, he felt weak, his head still feels ripples of pain after, you, obviously hit him. The bounds were too tight, making it hard to rub it all off. He can use his quirk to freeze the rope. You won't notice it, he thought. After all, you were a weak mind reader, you managed to join U.A because your pro hero parents did the recommendation and your trained combat skills.
"What made you so quiet, Todoroki?" you asked. You are now leaning on the door and he didn't even noticed.
He just have to buy sometime to activate his quirk and be let himself out of being tied.
"You we're supposed to be a hero, not to be obsessed about me." He is now trying to freeze the bounds, you unnoticing.
"I got sidetracked, I mean just look at how cool you are, even with the lack of affection, you never craved for it. While I, couldn't even please my parents." you stated. He was now able to freeze it little by little. "And also, you are very clever, trying to get rid of the ropes under my nose. How cute."
You are now walking towards him
That made him shock but he still continued freezing the ropes, calmly. It's now or never. He was soon stopped, his quirk was not working at all. The stagnant supply of ice was all gone. Then he noticed you smiling, crossing your hands, stopping two steps on your tracks.
"I stopped your quirk." Of course, you weren't just a mere mind reader. You were something more, a greater potential. Your parents were pro heroes, they we're not famous but he had heard they were strong with a mind quirk.
Making a clue and a point, you telepathically talked to his head. Do you have a clue now?
It had felt that his inner voice has its own mind. You had gained control of his own mind. Then realization hit him, you can't just read minds or send messages via telepath, you are able to tug reins of someone's mind. You can overload commands. Something more powerful than Hitoshi's brainwashing quirk.
"That was fast, very good." You looked at him happily, like a mother that is so fond of her son.
There was sudden rattling on the door, Shoto thought that someone might come and get him out of here. When it spoke, he regretted who it was, he wish she would ran especially how you express your hatred for her.
"Todoroki?" Momo called out.
"We have an esteemed guest, I see." You put back on his gag. Momo opens the door and you made eye contact with her. "Hey, Momo."
"Y/N, why are you here?" She stilled. Her eyes avert to the bounded guy in front of her. "Why is Todoroki bound?"
"Oh, you must be here to help him. That was nice of you, Y/N. Don't worry, I'll help him out, you can save yourself out from here." she speaks."It is odd that the League of Villains did this to him, they didn't even brought him to their own headquarters, he surely be out of contact from us if they did."
You talked to her quite a bit, she felt reassured that no one will cause trouble, you both were heroes after all. Todoroki is calm right now, you might do something bad if he caused alarm.
"How'd you get here?" you asked politely. You can feel that Momo currently clueless on what you reveal at school or maybe she doesn't want to believe it.
"I spotted someone dragging him unconcious, I feel they would use him for blackmail so I hurriedly search for tracks."
She didn't got the right agenda and step in to untangle the rope from Todoroki but before she can even lay a finger, you interrupt.
"Don't touch him!" She stiffened and look at you confused. Todoroki was squirming, his eyeing Momo to run off and leave him but she didn't, she wants to save him.
"Why? Is there a bomb--"
You scoffed. "No, Todoroki is mine, try to touch him and you'll see."
"Y/N..." She looked at you again, there was something in your eyes, obsession and an urge to kill. "What are you doing? Stop whatever your planning."
You just tilted your head, mockingly. "Y/N, why do you do this to your friends?"
You know that she knows that you are the traitor, she just doesn't believe it and wishes it was not true. "It's a one-sided friendship, I guess."
She attempt to respond but before she open her mouth, your hands was already strangling her. Gaspy moans flew out from her throat due to the lack of oxygen. You were pressing her windpipe really hard.
She uses her quirk, a large hammer appear from her. She tore herself from you, creating a distance. "I hope it doen't end like this Y/N."
The moment she was near at you, she attempted to use a power blow to knock you out. Before she does, the hammer vanishes to thin air. Repeating to awaken the quirk which turn to be nothing made her disappointed and confused. She have to fight you defenseless.
Todoroki was watching the scene with hope that Momo can get out alive. Why does everyone have to suffer because of him?
Using her fist, you were able to dodge the punches she keeps on throwing. She was reliant to the quirk that she had less training without it. You hit her on chin, that made numbness to her body, her teeth had scratch her lip that cause injury. She won't back down, she won't back---
You grabbed her arm, pressing her back on to your chest. This made her face Todoroki, your one-hand restrain on her wrist was loose but she can't move, as if her body was paralyzed. You got something out of your pocket, a knife. It is sharp and shiny. You pressed it to her throat, blood glisten to the knife. The liquid slides down and drips to the ground.
Your grinning, liking the horror in Todoroki's face. It was something else. The restrained girl should've known that she never stood a chance. You wouldn't want the pro heroes come at you earlier than expected so you proceeded to the next phase.
The moment stopped, the knife had slit her skin, blood had gushed out like waterfalls. It coated the shiny knife in dark crimson. When you let go of her wrist and the weight of her body, Momo had slumped to the ground, unconcious. Her eyes was closed and blood was still pouring out, puddled under her beneath her body.
When you spoke, it had Todoroki snapped out bit of himself from reverie. He was in shock on how easily you act as if you didn't slit someone. You pulled your phone, checking something. You casually snapped a photo on the bleeding student based on the flash it made.
"It's already 6 o'clock, you must be hungry, Shoto." You looked at him first before grabbing a white handkerchief to clean the knife as well as your hands. You throw it aside in the ground. Leaving it might lead operatives to you but that is just some minor problem. "Oh, I know! I can cook cold soba for you in my apartment."
Todoroki was still in the state of surprise, you know what's going on with his head because of your quirk. He felt devastated, he endangered everyone close to him.
You crouched to his eye level, staring on the void of stiffness, he was speechless, a mix of emotions has shook his core. "Shoto, you shouldn't worry anymore, I am here now and I will not let anyone blame you. You are never at fault and will never be, it was them who got themself in trouble in the first place. Right now you should be happy, we are gonna be together forever. Would you forgive me now if I treat you for some soba and alert the authorities about her? You wouldn't worry anymore."
He just nodded, your quirk had nothing to do with it. He was already in the brink of insanity. The emotional torture he had buried had come out to haunt him, also add the scenario he had been watching. Just like how his mother is breaking down while he had hide at the back of the door. You are the only and probably the last resort he has for a way out from himself. He is losing his mind.
You untied his restraints, gently grabbed his hand and him outside. You walked over the body like it was nothing but an obstacle. Having alerted the authorities, they'll be hot on your tail for sometime but you had a perfect plan in mind anyways. A black van awaited your exit and off you go with the rest of your days beside the love of your life.
