Mantis arrives at the ship after putting Peter to sleep, she felt his sadness, it was bigger than hers, too an extent she couldn't really explain, as much as that hurt, she grieved on her own too, Gamora is gone. She dropped a tear and went to quarters seeing that right before they got off to Knowhere Gamora had been in there with her asking if she was ready, she roamed her quarter played with her books, as she did often. Mantis walked over to the last book Gamora had touched, and she dropped tears, she wiped them off, and looked back at the book, seeing something slip out, a paper
"What is this?"
She saw the paper and opened it up.
Dear Mantis,
You might be confused on what this is, this is a letter something my people and many other all over the galaxy use for communication or sentimental purposes, this is Gamora writing this to you. Now let us begin.
Your the newest to our little... family of the biggest idiots in the galaxy and perhaps not fully aware of what my soul mission is, my mission is to stop the Mad Titan Thanos, that my purpose and that's what I intend to do, and if your reading this, I've surely died in the process, or died stopping it. Whatever reason, I leave you with my final words towards you, towards everyone. I never intended to come across this group of people and make a family, to have Groot, rocket, Drax, nebula, you, and peter... But I did and I have to say it makes writing this even harder. Mantis when came across you we were still finding many things about ourselves, Peter finding out of his father, Rocket, Youndu, but one thing we did get from that. We came across the sense of family, and you came along with it. You are great and pure flower Mantis, me being much like a prickly rose, it's harder for me to come across to them as... inviting as you. You 'feel' them in a way I could never, ways I wish I could take away whatever troubles they have away from them, as much as they give me headaches. You are smiley and not sure of what's going on the outside or even what's coming across with us, but your getting the hang of it, and you'll become even more vital towards this group sooner or later. And since I'm gone.... please, take care of them. Take care of each and every one of them. Make sure they don't do something completely absurd, take care of Rocket, make sure he watches over Groot properly, Take after Drax he can't get himself killed over little things, nebula will act like she doesn't need anything but... hug her for me. Last but not least... watch over Peter, please. Watch over the man, the first day we met you touched his hand and felt what he felt towards me, remember that feeling, and multiply that to the fullest extent you can, that's how much I care for him. Take care of him, and keep them together, please.
Mantis you are stronger than you think, you are smarter than you think, you are a valuable member to this family,
