The cookies were baking the only step left was decorating. The best part in Cisco's mind, something about making the cookies look nice was more satisfying then the baking part. Cisco heard the door unlock and open, he heard Hartley walk towards him while allowing the sweet smell to flood his nose.
"Whatever your making smells delicious." Cisco felt Hartley wrap his arms around him.
"Just some chocolate chip cookies, how was work?"
"It was good. Are they almost done?"
"Yes they just have to decorated; want to help?"
"Yes." Hartley kissed the top of Cisco's head as the timer went off. Cisco took the cookies out of the oven and grabbed the icing.
"What are you going to do for yours?"
"I'm thinking about a snowman or the death star."
"Two very different ideas." Hartley laughed.
"What about you?"
"Not sure, probably just the basic Christmas things." They got to work icing their cookies, making them look the best they can, until each cookie was decorated.
"I like yours, they're so cute!" Cisco pointed at the reindeer cookie.
"Thank you, I think your death star is good looking. When can we eat them?"
"They're going to be for the Christmas party."
"So we can't cuddle while watching a movie and eat all the cookies?' Hartley pouted.
"As tempting as the idea sounds, no. I agreed to make the cookies for the party. How about a movie, hot chocolate, and popcorn?*
"Fine but at the party I may or may not take all of the cookies."
