How can we live without the things:
We don’t believe in
We will never do
We will never see
We won’t remember?
These are our ghosts
Our lost causes
Our invisible worlds
And the words
We will never write
The stories
We will never tell
The movies
We will never watch.
We live half lives
Half in view
Half never known or seen
Who will keep these secrets for us?
And how
Will we live without them when we are…
