Chapter 1: For My Eyes Only

Chapter Text

Deoksu could be intimidating enough in general, but when it came to protecting you, he was a man possessed. You first realized this during a drive home after the two of you had dinner. The bridge you usually took was backed up with traffic, so Deoksu went the long way.

He stopped at a red light, his eyes naturally going over to you to see if you were okay. What he found was a man standing on your side of the car just staring at you, while you were preoccupied with trying to fix your hair just right. Deoksu didn’t blame you; he knew how perfect you were and that others would try to swindle you away from him. Didn’t mean he had to take it lying down, though.

Before you noticed what was brewing, Deoksu had jumped out of the car and ran across the street. He grabbed the man by his collar and threw him to the slick pavement, an evil smirk on his face as he saw you watching in horror. Deoksu chuckled before pulling his knife from his waistband. You knew where this was headed.

At least you thought you did. Deoksu didn’t just stab the guy and move on; he carved him like an animal. The blade entered his thigh, his stomach, his chest, almost everywhere. The sound of flesh releasing the knife after every stab was sickening, much like the blood splatter that followed.

Deoksu loved the twisted  expression on your face. He wanted you to remember this clearly in case you still had any thoughts of leaving him. He wouldn’t just torture the asshole you left him for; if you weren’t with Deosku, then you didn’t need to be alive at all. As much as it would pain him, he was ready to do it if he needed to.

Deoksu had moved onto the man’s face and you had an idea of what his next plan was. He drove the knife into his eye sockets before scooping both of his eyes out like ice cream. The laugh that erupted from your boyfriend made you sick; his hand cradling another man’s eyeballs threatened to make you puke. Deoksu shoved them into his pockets before throwing the corpse into the nearby bushes.

“Got you something.”

Deoksu got back in the car and held his hand out to you. Obviously you knew what it was and didn’t want anything to do with them. But after witnessing his capabilities, you didn’t want to piss Deoksu off any further, so you accepted his gift. He leaned in to kiss your cheek, but you turned at the last minute. The familiar taste of blood covered your lips and the scent of iron nearly gave you a headache. Deoksu pulled away with a proud smirk.

“Let’s get you home so you can clean me off.”
