"Do you think we should start Christmas shopping?" Hartley asked.
"Christmas? It's not even Halloween yet!"
"Well it's almost Halloween and you know how everything is out of stock in December."
"True. What do you want for Christmas?"
"A day in bed with my sexy boyfriend." Hartley suggestively smirked at Cisco.
"As temping as that is I meant like a present, have anything in mind?"
"I have something in mind for you. It's a surprise though." Hartley still had the smirk, "It's a good gift. Trust me."
"I'll trust you, for now. You still haven't told me what you want."
"I can't think of anything. I just want to make sure it's a nice day for you. I already found a recipe for a delicious looking batch of brownies." Hartley gave Cisco a small smile.
"Well I'm trying to make sure you have a good day too Hartley. Your feelings matter too." Cisco rested his hand on top of Hartley's. Cisco knew Hartley would sacrifice his own health for making sure Cisco was happy. If Cisco did the same thing Hartley would make Cisco take a break, eat, drink, and get some kisses. And Cisco wasn't about to let Hartley sacrifice his version of a Christmas for Cisco's.
"Well... I would like you to make those cookies you made last Christmas."
"Of course honey." Cisco pressed a kiss to Hartley's forehead.
