Half asleep, Britta feels a pair of arms wrap around her waist from behind and, to her surprise, the limbs belong to Annie. Her and Annie have slept together before; however, never willingly. It’s always been a case of Annie leaning her head on Britta’s shoulder in the car while intoxicated or Britta passing out against Annie’s textbook during a late night session in study room F.
Britta allows the younger woman to press their bodies together. She feels Annie’s nose against the back of her neck inhaling her scent as if it’s a survival necessity like water or food.
