Cisco wears a nice costume.

Work Text:

Star Labs is busier than normal everyone's work load has somewhat doubled with the preparation for Star Labs haunted house; A found raiser for a local shelter. Cisco was currently making costumes while running simulations for a pet project. He had poked himself with the needle more than few times, he heard a knock on the door and set the vampire costume down.

"What do you want?" Cisco glared at Hartley; he rolled his eyes and stepped inside his office.

"I'm here to check on your progress with the costume." Cisco held up the vampire costume, mostly finished, and waited for the criticism.

"Good. What else are you doing for the fundraiser?"

"A compliment? From Hartley Rathaway?"

"Just answer my question."

"I'm making another costume, a zombie, for Ronnie."

"I was going to ask you to be the vampire, she called in sick."

"Sure, and what will you be?"

"Nothing, I'm not dressing up."

"Of course you wouldn't do that. To childish for you, not even for charity." Hartley huffed and left the office. Cisco finished up the vampire costume and the zombie.

"Hey Ronnie, here's your costume."

"Nice work on the blood. Tonight's going to a lot of fun."

"It definitely will. I'm going to be the vampire, the last one called in sick."

"I think you'll make a good vampire, it's going to be fun scaring people with you."

"Thanks, I going to get changed." Cisco went back to his office and changed it to his costume. He noticed how tight it was.

"Oh right, it was meant for someone a lot smaller than me." He didn't have time to make another so he just got in place and waited for a person to come by. He lurked in a shadow and watched a as kid slowly walked through, jumping at every noise, the kid passed by as Cisco ran at them from behind. He screeched and ran away into the next section of the haunted house. Cisco laughed quietly to himself and sent back to his shadow. He heard footsteps and prepared himself as the person walked by he noticed it was an adult, he ran at them anyway. The person wasn't started in the slightest and turned around, the scent of alcohol surrounded them.

"Wh are yous" The drink person swayed side to side. Cisco recognized the voice; it was Hartley.

"You are wasted!" Cisco laughed, the always pristine Hartley was drunk in a haunted house, "Come on; I have to take you home." He grabbed Hartley's arm and pulled him until Hartley tripped on a rug. Hartley groaned and made a flailing movement in an attempt to get up. Cisco gripped Hartley a pulled Hartley back to his feet.

"You strong Cishco." Hartley poked Cisco's bicep.

"Thank you." Cisco laughed and opened the back door. He texted Dr.Wells and Caitlin to tell them he had to go home, "Where did you get alcohol anyway?"

"Ment for after party."

"Right, the fundraiser that was more for the adults." Cisco helped Hartley into his car, having to move his legs in for him and buckle his seatbelt. Cus o turned around to go to the driver's side.

"The costume makes your butt look good." Cisco knew Hartley wasn't think straight, in more ways than one, but he still was tempted to say something back like, your freckles make you look cute or sometimes I want to kiss that smug smile off your face. He didn't though he knew Hartley would be embarrassed enough when he woke up tomorrow. He started to car and headed for his apartment.

"If you feel sick tell me."

"I don't feel a fever." Harley slurred.

"I meant if you feel like you have to throw up."

"Your so snart."

"And you are going to have one killer hang over." Cisco pulled into his parking space and got out to help Hartley, who was struggling with his seatbelt. With a a lot of effort Cisco managed to get Hartley up the stairs without him falling and getting a head injury, "Stay on the couch and I am going to get you a pillow and blanket." Cisco grabbed some spare pillows and blankets and returned to find Hartley had stayed on the couch and was trying to read a book, "Can you even read right now?"

"The words are swimming."

"Turn on the Netflix or find a movie if you want." Cisco needed to change out of the tight costume, it was very uncomfortable, he put on sweatpants and a t-shirt and went to see how Hartley was doing. He was half asleep on the couch.

"Sleepy." He grumbled, "Sheep with me."

"Sorry but I'm going to own bed." Cisco left and curled up in his bed. A few minutes later he felt Hartley flop down on the bed, he was to tired to care and he probably fall off soon anyway.
