“Like and subscribe…” He whispered to himself as he watched Go Eun’s ‘Untact’ clip of her as Sujin saying the same words. “Aish! Why did I agree to this?” He muttered to himself out of frustration.
She crept up behind him, giggling when she saw him replay the video. “Love, what are you doing?” She asked with amusement in her eyes.
“How long have you been standing there?” He jumped at her sudden appearance, he hadn’t realized she had finished showering as he was engrossed in trying to mimic her ‘like and subscribe’ clip. He avoided her eyes, embarrassed by what he was trying to do.
“Um, why are you watching Jini TV’s outro (Untact) on loop?” She was confused but found his bashful reactions hilarious.
He cleared his throat, shaking himself from his embarrassment. “I thought it would be fun if I did something similar for my Esquire interview tomorrow, but my aegyo is subpar from yours.” He said teasingly.
“I doubt that, you act like a big baby all the time.” She pouted as she pinched his cheek.
“Yah! I only do that because you also act like a baby.” He retorted as he rolled his eyes.
“Aigoo~ look at you whining like a baby.” She continued to tease him. He pulled her down onto the sofa, attacking her with tickles. He poked her sensitive spots, her laughter echoing in his living room.
“Alright,” she gasped. “Alright-- you’re-- not a-- baby.” She managed to say those words between her laughs.
He pulled her up, running his finger through her hair, fixing the mess he caused. “It’s just so awkward when I say it, it sounds so unnatural.” His tone was dejected.
She couldn’t help but laugh at how serious he was to mimic her outro on Jini TV. “It’s simple, love.” She sat up in front of him, giggling at herself for what she was about to do. Her eyes crinkled as she beamed at him. “Like,” she raised a thumb, her voice a few octaves higher, “and subscribe,” raising her other thumb, finishing it off with a giggle.
“Omo, Sujin-ssi, I’m a big fan.” He teased but was also impressed at her sudden transformation.
“Yah!” She whacked his arm. “I thought you wanted to learn Sujin’s aegyo.”
He cleared his throat and met her gaze. “Like,” he raised a thumb, “and subscribe,” raising his other thumb, but his tone was dull and flat.
“Aigoo~ Love, this isn’t going to work…” She pretended to get up, acting as if she was disappointed. But in reality, she had to turn away from him because she couldn’t stop herself from smiling.
All of a sudden, while she was turned away, “like,” forcing his tone to be bubbly, “and subscribe,” exaggerating his movements, purposely bouncing his shoulders, his grin showing his front teeth.
She couldn’t help but clutch her stomach, her boisterous laugh awakened Choco, causing her to bark.
“Love, just act normal, be yourself. You’re adorable as you are.” She managed to control her laughter, sitting back next to him.
He turned his entire body to her. “Like,” he leaned his face to hers, their nose touching. “And subscribe,” he further leaned into her, leaving a peck to her lips.
“How about that?” He teased and couldn’t help but smirk.
“Yah! Would you really tell your fans to subscribe to your channel like that?” She felt her cheeks flush, her stomach filled with butterflies.
He had totally forgotten what he was trying to accomplish and continued to tease her. “I think I will understand it better if you hold my hands,” he suggested, “like this…” He wrapped her hands in his, keeping his gaze on her. He brought her hands to cup his cheeks, his eyes locked with hers, “saranghae, Go Eun-i.”
