It was Go Eun’s day off, she had spent most of the daylight in bed, sleeping and going over the script for the next Yumi’s Cells shoot. She would typically spend her rest days with Min Ho but this was one of the days where their schedules didn’t line up.
After their weekend getaway for Go Eun’s birthday, Min Ho has been busy finalizing the collaboration between leeminho film and fashion designer, kimseoryong. This project is currently Min Ho’s baby, he has been exerting all his energy on this project as it will be the first major production of leeminho film. While Pachinko is still in post-production, Min Ho has spent most of his time in meetings or editing the upcoming showcase films for the 21/22 fw kimseoryong collection. Go Eun was very supportive of this new turning point in Min Ho’s career. She had observed him in between takes of The King: Eternal Monarch and saw how involved he was in selecting the appropriate shots to use in the final cuts.
Her notifications were unusually silent, she knew he was busy whenever he didn’t send her random selfies of himself, showing his whereabouts.
Go Eun usually settled for food delivery during her rest days because she had no energy to create a big enough meal to satisfy her hungry yet petite body. But ever since she met Min Ho’s mom, she had an endless supply of ready-to-eat meals and side dishes, by now, his mom knew all of her favorite side dishes. It was half-past seven when she decided to eat in front of her tv as she waited for the broadcast of The Sea of Hope. As she began eating, she was excited to see a FaceTime call coming from ‘Min Ho sunbae’.
“Sunbae!!” she exclaimed excitedly
“Aigoo~ is this how you’ll greet me after a long workday?” he responded with a pouty expression.
“Aw poor baby” she teased, “are you done with all your work?”
“Neh, were you able to rest properly?”
“Yup. I spent most of the day sleeping” she was mumbling most of her words as she stuffed herself with dinner.
Min Ho let out a chuckle upon seeing her stuffed cheeks, he knew she loved eating but he’s still not used to seeing how cute she was when she enjoyed her food.
“Yah! Why are you laughing at your girlfriend?! You should know that I am happily enjoying your eomma’s cooking”
“You’re so cute Go Eun-i, my eomma loves you more than me, she sends all my share of the food to your place now,” he said with a sulky expression but inside he was smiling at how close Go Eun has gotten with his family.
“What are you doing now, are you on your way home? Have you eaten yet?”
“Aniyo, I might buy some food on my way home”
“Oppa don’t buy food, I have so much food from your eomma, just come eat at my place” she offered an invite to her place.
“Oh, aren’t you going out to watch the broadcast of the show with the other members?”
“Ani~ we only went out last time because it was the premiere, I’m watching it all by myself tonight…”
“Should I watch it with you then?” a smirk evident on his face
“Yah! What’s with the smirk? You can come over but we will only watch the show, nothing else, arasseo?”
“Neh Go Eun-i, I will only focus on watching your parts” he winked.
She rolled her eyes at that, “Come quick, I might finish all the food”
“See you later my love” Min Ho adored Go Eun’s annoyed expressions.
