avengers featuring steve's doppelganger vol 1 [FANCOMIC]

Summary:

tony dates a man who looks a lot like steve. everyone can see it, everyone knows what that means, except tony, who doesn't seem to realize he's dating steve's doppelganger. steve doesn't see the resemblance either and actually comes to like tony's new boyfriend, but then one of the other avengers spills the beans that they look exactly alike to tony, who can't unsee it now and breaks up with the new guy, only for steve to be sad that his baseball-buddy won't be around anymore.

Notes:

summary was taken from jellybeanforest's prompt. full prompt in the end notes.

this is my sls gift for jellybeanforest for one of their incredible long prompts. i loved it so much that i had to do it kind of comics style (i tried idk how that works lol) all settings are from avengers mountain altho i can't draw them correctly. also idk shit about american baseball but i've read steve talking about it so he's from lower east side manhattan and liked (brooklyn) dodgers but when it moved to l.a. he got behind the mets (cap v3 #35) and he doesn't seem to like the designated hitter rule (cap: man out of time v1 #4) so i included them too just for some baseball talk *sweats* hope the whole comic is at least understandable

thank you to the sls mods for running this event again this year!!

Notes:

full prompt: "Tony dates a man who looks A LOT like Steve. Everyone can see it, everyone knows what that means, except Tony, who doesn't seem to realize he's dating Steve's doppelganger. It's up to you what Steve feels about it. Does he see the resemblance? Does it make him uncomfortable or drive him insane? Is he already pining after Tony and is jealous? Does he wonder if this is a power move or just some weird form of workplace sexual harassment? Or possible the funniest reaction: He doesn't see the resemblance either and actually comes to like Tony's new boyfriend, but then one of the other Avengers spills the beans that they look exactly alike to Tony, who can't unsee it now and breaks up with the new guy, only for Steve to be sad that his baseball-buddy won't be around anymore."
