Cabin in the Woods

Summary:

Sam has tried so hard to move on, but it seems no one can truly understand what he's feeling. Driving late at night to avoid his family, he gets into a car accident spiraling his life into a new direction. With these two new alphas inserting themselves into the empty hole in Sam's heart, he can't help but want to let them in. However, these knights in shining armor seem a little too good to be true and he wonders what secrets they may be keeping.

Notes:

Hi everyone, I'm back with my second story and this one is much longer as you can see ;-;. My love for these three have only grown and with tfatws providing sambucky content, my heart is ready to explode at least once a week. Anyways, thanks for reading and as always, comments and kudos are very welcome :)

Chapter Text

He’s been driving for over three hours now and it's pitch-black outside, but he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. The snow is falling heavy making it difficult to see but his tears have been doing that for the past two hours anyway.

He hears vibrating comes from the passenger seat next to him. Looking over it’s another missed call from his sister. This one makes 14. He wipes his eyes with the sleeve of his sweater before returning his hand back to the wheel and pressing harder on the gas.
Gosh, he can’t believe it’s been two years already since...since...

Sam knows that his family must be worried but he just can’t be around other people right now. For some reason, this anniversary is hitting him harder than he thought it would. He’s spent all year being strong, he thinks he deserves a break for a day or two.

He doesn’t even know where he’s going but he knows that as long as he’s focused on the road then he doesn’t have to think about him right now.

He takes a back road and notices that the woods seem even darker here. With the lack of street lights and tall naked winter trees, he can’t help but turn up the heat to counter the chill he feels down his spine. After driving for another 20 minutes he hears his phone begin to vibrate in the passenger seat again. Just as he begins to reach for it thinking he should probably get into contact with someone, he feels himself lose control of the car as he slips on ice. In a panic, he tries to turn back the wheel only causing the car to spin out and crash sideways into a tree. As he feels his head slam against the glass window, the last thing he sees before his eyes close is a light flickering on in a nearby cabin.
