(Y/n)'s Pov
I was in a deep slumber but someone woke me up as they shook my shoulder and stole away my warm covers. "Honey wake up you're going to be late for school. I made you a doctor's appointment as well so you can walk over at lunch" Hearing up caused my eyes to pop open immediately. "W-What!? No way you know I hate doctors Mother! I'm perfectly healthy there's no need for me to go!"
"You need to get your flu shot and an updated physical exam for the school (Y/n), Dr. Kureha wasn't available so I booked you an appointment at a different clinic. I'll give you the address once you get downstairs" Sending my Mother a glare I rolled off the bed before landing with a thump. "I hate needles, getting a physical makes sense sure but why do I need to get a flu shot every year?"
"I know you're afraid of needles (Y/n) but how about I take lunch off and I'll take you over there myself?" Looking over at the lady I let out a sigh before walking towards the bathroom. "No, you enjoy your lunch I'll make it there on my own. Just let me shower first Mom it won't take me long. Do you mind heating me up a breakfast sandwich in the meantime?" When she told me, she would I disappeared into the bathroom. "Let's hope this doctor isn't a complete creep"

25 Minutes Later...
"Yummy~ So, where exactly is this clinic Mom?" I didn't like the idea of going to the doctor's but this wasn't my choice to make at the end of the day. The school required every student to produce a physical exam from their doctor and my mother was adamant about me getting a flu shot. "It's not too far from your school (Y/n) I'll drive by it so you'll recognize the building. You still have the papers and your Medicare card I gave you, right?"
"Yup! So, I'll just check out of the school at 12?" The appointment was only at 1 pm but I didn't want to be late for it so leaving a bit early seemed smart. "Yes, I already notified the school so you'll be called down to the office when it's time to check out. You can be a little early but I'm sure the doctor won't mind... Look that's the building (Y/n)" As we slowly drove by the clinic it appeared to be abandoned though unfortunately, the city didn't have the budget to restore these old brick buildings so a lot of them in the area looked terrible from the outside.
"I'll remember this one for sure since it has a graffitied smiley face on it"
"Alright sweetie I'll drop you off at the school gates then just text me later when you're done at the doctor's office. I can pick you up if you don't finish before the buses would arrive at your school. Your phones charged, right?" Checking my battery level, I nodded my head before I put it back into my pocket. "Yup, it's charged. Oh, and Mom I'm going to need to pick up a few things from the store later. There's a project in art class but we need to bring our own supplies"
"Sure, thing (Y/n) I'll try to get off work early today so we can do that" As she pulled up to the school drop-off area I quickly got out before I gave her a small wave and started heading for the doors.

12:05pm...
"Alright Miss. (Y/n) remember to have your doctor fill in this form and you can return it to the office tomorrow" Taking the form from the office staff I put it into my bag before I finished signing myself out. "Thank you" With that last farewell I headed for the door as I stared down at the address my Mother had given me. "113 North Street" I knew what the building looked like now I just had to find the street that would take me to it. "At least it's a nice day outside"

As I ate some lunch one of my subordinates decided to place another patient file onto my desk. "Hey, Boss your one o'clock should be here anytime now. Her Mother booked her for a physical exam and a flu shot. I've gone over her file but she doesn't seem to meet your criteria for the study" Putting down the half-eaten rice ball I took a look at the file that he had placed on the desk.
"Hm, inform me once she arrives. I'll prepare her flu shot in the meantime. What's her age and weight?" I'd read her file later but I needed to make sure my subordinates didn't slack off. "She's seventeen and 105 pounds with a height of five feet" Sure, this clinic mostly served as a hunting ground for finding new patients to take part in my various medical studies but at the end of the day I was still a doctor and this girl would receive the best care I could provide. "Thank you. You are dismissed Penguin-ya"
"Yes, Sir"

"Here it is... Hm, I guess I just push the buzzer to be let in" I held down the button for a second before I removed my finger and waited for something to happen. "How may I help you?" Hearing a voice rumble through the small box above the buzzer caused me to jump but I quickly responded to the person's question. "I'm (F/n) I should have an appointment for one o'clock"
"Take the elevator to the fifth floor and someone will meet you there" As the doors lock disengaged, I pulled it open before stepping inside. "Alright breathe (Y/n) everything will be okay... Just go to the fifth floor and get this over with" Finding the elevator was easy though it did take some time to reach me. "This building is so creepy... Hopefully the doctors nice"
As I stepped into the small lift, I hit the button to take me to the fifth floor but then I noticed the third-floor button was also lit up. "Someone must be waiting on that floor" Once the doors had closed, I took a step back and gripped the railing while I rocked back and forth on my heels. Taking out my phone I planned to text my mother to let her know that I had made it to the doctor's office but there weren't any bars. "Weird, the building must have poor service. Oh, well"
'Ding'
When the doors of the elevator popped open, I briefly looked up though the man that entered didn't seem to notice me. Based on his white lab coat and name tag I figured he was a doctor but the tattoos on his hands took a different story. "What kind of doctor has tattoos on their hands?" The doctor seemed a little surprised at first though kept his composure as he looked over his shoulder at me. "I'm sorry I didn't see you there. Are you (F/n)?"
"Yes, but you didn't answer my question" He seemed to be thinking about something though when the elevator doors opened once again I saw another person was waiting on the other side. "Ah, Doctor there you and I see you already met Miss. (Y/n). Which examine room should I take her to?" The man walked out of the lift with me following soon after though a strange chill started to make goosebumps form on my underarms. "Put her in exam room three. Take these as well and laid her flu shot out on a tray. I'll be right there I just need to grab something from my office"
Law's Pov
The girl's files were still in my office so I would need to grab those first before I could examine her. "Are you sure he's even a doctor?" Her little comment caused me to pause for a moment but I only shook my head before continuing on. "He's one of the best doctors in the city Miss. (Y/n) please follow me" This girl was different that much was certain though I had a few more patients coming in later today so I couldn't take too long with her.

5 Minutes Later...
"Alright, Miss. (Y/n)-ya your here for a physical exam and a flu shot, right?" When she nodded her head, I noticed a piece of paper held within her shaking hands. "Is that the paper from the school?" There was a note on her file that she didn't like doctors so I needed to take things slow with her. "Y-Yes, here you go" Taking the form from her hands I started going over it as I made mental notes of what I needed to check on her.
"Let's start with listening to your heart and lungs. It'll be a little cold but I'll be quick" When I removed my stethoscope from my neck, I moved towards her but her arms immediately shot up as they crossed against her chest. "We need to complete this exam (Y/n)-ya... How about we make a deal I'll answer one question from you for each part of the exam?"
"That sounds fair... So, you'll tell me why you have those tattoos on your hands?" Nodding my head, I started to answer her silly little question. "Well (Y/n)-ya I got these tattoos since as I doctor my patients put their lives into my hands. I can't say all my patients make it off the operating table but it would be foolish to think a doctor could save everyone. Now let's check your lungs"
"I'm sorry" Why would the girl feel the need to apologize? "You can check my lungs now... Do I have to take my shirt off or can I leave it on?" Her shirt was quite baggy so she didn't need to take it off but since we were doing a whole-body physical, she would need to remove it. Usually, the female students didn't go to male doctors for this kind of examine but her regular doctor was out of town and she needed this completed by the due date on the form.
"I'll have you change into a patient gown but I can check your lungs before you do... Sit up straight for me and take a deep breath... again... again... and one last time... Now for the front" She was still nervous being in my examination room but so far the girl was well behaved. "And let me listen to your heart"
'Thump' 'Thump' 'Thump'
"Very nice (Y/n)-ya" Stepping away from the girl I retrieved one of the patient's gowns from across the room before handing it to her. "Here you can change into this and I'll wait in the hallway for you to finish, alright?" I waited for her response as I tapped my pen against my clipboard. "Thank you, Dr... T-Tr-Trafalgar? Did I say your name right?"
"You said it perfectly (Y/n)-ya. I'll be in the hallway take as much time as you need"
