An anthropomorphic potion, fresh off the brewing stand. Everything would have worked out fine, had there not been a glitch and Bad seemed to be stuck as a cat-person forever. Chapter 1: How It All Began

The day had started out normal. It was another day on the Dream SMP server, and everyone was minding their own business, rebuilding the wreckage left over from the Disc War, gathering supplies, or just exploring. Less people were on the server than usual, and the girls mostly remained quiet when the guys started chatting. The peace of silence was rudely interrupted when Awesamdude, or Sam, realized he had unlocked a new recipe he didn’t recognize, and wanted to share his knowledge with the others. He pulled up a screen and his fingers typed madly, with each letter he became more excited. Sam finally managed to send his message.

<Awesamdude> Guys I swear they added another potion!!

To his surprise, the chat blew up almost instantly, as though everyone had been waiting on him to say something. George was the first to respond, and although he replied in a blunt fashion, he made his point. He also may have been the only one there who had appreciated the peace and quiet, as chaos was not his style. George sighed at Sam’s comment and typed back: 

<GeorgeNotFound> I haven't seen a new recipe in ages

<Sapnap> lmao same

<Ranboo> Dream probably has it already

<GeorgeNotFound> Why would Dream have it??

<Sapnap> To kill us with, duh, Gogy

Dream joined the game

<TommyInnit> Ay Dream what’s all this about

<Dream> What is what all about

<TommyInnit> All this “new potion” shit

<WilburSoot> Potion? What potion?

<Dream> The anthropomorphic potion?

<Dream> I tested it on a flower yesterday

<GeorgeNotFound> And?

<Dream> Well from what I can tell it doesn’t have much variety

<Dream> And it lasts for a really long time

<Quackity> You said you tested it out on ONE flower, how do you know it has no variety??

<Dream> I tested it out on multiple

<Quackity> What animal did they turn into? How do you know it lasts long?

<Dream> Different types of cats, every time

<Dream> I trapped them and came back an hour later, they were still cats

<GeorgeNotFound> Must be a glitch

<Dream> It practically lasts as long as the bad omen thing

<GeorgeNotFound> WHAT? That long??

<Dream> Sometimes longer, some of them are still cats

<Dream> The cats turn back into flowers sometimes, like they have a mind of their own

<GeorgeNotFound> I don’t think we should test this on somebody, Dream... 

<Technoblade> I’m in if someone gets hurt

<TommyInnit> I’m in it to inflict pain as well
