Work Text:

After an excruciatingly long day, gallons of involuntary bleeding on all of their behalfs and multiple brushes with death, Kakyoin finally and gratefully crawls into the bed of the hotel they’re staying in for the night.

With unabashed intrigue, Kakyoin watches Jotaro shrug off his bulky coat and heavily flop face down next to him, hard enough to make the whole bed shake and lying still exactly where he falls. He's still mostly clothed and Star Platinum appears to helpfully remove his hat and shoes for him, sharing a grin with Kakyoin before it disappears again.

Jotaro stirs then and turns around, twisting to lie on his side facing Kakyoin, head cushioned on the same pillow, inches apart.

Kakyoin smiles and gently cards his fingers through Jotaro’s hair. “Tired?”

Jotaro nods, eyes drifting closed.

Something tugs painfully at Kakyoin's chest, pulling right at his heart. It was always so surreal seeing Jotaro like this; sleepy, unguarded, soft around his usually so hard edges and the fact that he gets to see it, that Jotaro wants him to see it, leaves Kakyoin breathless and quietly thrilling each and every time he’s reminded of it. Who would have thought his greatest humiliation and blow to his pride would lead to the best thing of his life?

With that thought, Kakyoin softly touches Jotaro's cheek, his lips, his thick eyelashes. Jotaro lets him, little blissful exhales leaving him like he just can't help himself. But there's a perpetual tension to him too, it’s in the hard lines of his shoulders, his stiffly clenched muscles, the small but deep furrow between his brows. Kakyoin scoots closer and kisses Jotaro's forehead, right on the furrow.

“Are you still awake?” He asks quietly.

“No.” Jotaro drawls sleepily.

“That's a shame.” Kakyoin flicks Jotaro's nose and lies flat on his back with a sigh. “I had a very generous offer, one you couldn't refuse.”

“I'm awake.” Jotaro says, bloodshot eyes snapping open immediately. He shuffles closer too, dropping his head to rest on Kakyoin's shoulder and presses a kiss to the warm slice of bared skin visible just under his collar.

Kakyoin tangles a hand in Jotaro's hair to keep him close and gently tugs Jotaro’s head back. Against Jotaro's lips, Kakyoin smiles and murmurs. “On your belly, Jojo.”

“Do I need to ask you to be gentle?” Jotaro wryly asks with his cheek pressed into the pillow, glancing at Kakyoin over his bare shoulder.

The offer was a massage and Kakyoin was right; Jotaro couldn't refuse. He's down to just his black boxers, clothes a shed pile at the foot of their bed and Kakyoin happily straddling Jotaro's waist from behind.

Kakyoin smiles and shrugs out of his own pyjama shirt too because the sleeves keep falling. He lays his palms flat on Jotaro's bare skin and just takes a moment to relish in the natural heat radiating off him in waves. “I'll be as gentle as you want me to be.”

Jotaro purses his lips, tucking his hands beneath the pillow. “I don't want gentle.” He decides. “I wanna feel it.”

And feel it Jotaro does. Kakyoin presses Jotaro’s face into the pillow and massages his back and shoulders like it's his life's sole purpose, like he was born to knead at every muscled dip and curve of Jotaro's body. Jotaro melts boneless beneath Kakyoin's clever hands, the tension easily bleeding out of him, limbs loosening like a coil unravelling.

“Have you done this before?” Jotaro manages to ask through the contented haze fogging his mind and weighing his limbs.

“No,” Kakyoin scoffs, but he sounds smug and pleased both with himself and with Jotaro's sluggish, pleasured state. “Who would I even try this on? I've only read about it.”

Jotaro supposes that’s fair enough and makes an inarticulate noise at that, one that breaks and hitches down an octave when Kakyoin digs his knuckles into a particularly tight knot at the base of Jotaro's spine. Jotaro arches sharply with a moan, jackknifing off the bed and raising Kakyoin with him. Kakyoin quickly holds onto Jotaro's shoulders to save getting thrown across the room and shushes him with a secretive laugh.

“Abdul and Polnareff are next door.” Kakyoin warns teasingly, and digs his knuckles into that tight knot again just to hear Jotaro whimper and muffle it at the last second.

Jotaro pants loudly, entire body glowing with a sheen of sweat, head thrown back. “Noriaki–”

“And your grandfather is on the other side.” Kakyoin says lightly, stooping to kiss Jotaro's flushed cheek. Jotaro blindly turns his head, tries to catch Kakyoin's lips with his own. “You wouldn't want him to hear, would you? Think of the teasing.”

“Good grief.” Jotaro drops his head with a weak groan and tightly grabs at Kakyoin's thighs from where they're comfortably wrapped around his hips. “Please stop mentioning my gramps right now, oh my god.”

“Aw, you're even beginning to sound like him.” Kakyoin sniggers and does something that renders Jotaro completely incapable of speech, air squeezed right out of his lungs on a long shuddering exhale.

But even if Jotaro could speak right now he wouldn’t know what to say apart from moaning Kakyoin’s name like a desperate, begging litany. Kakyoin massages him with single-minded dedication and determination, like he won't be satisfied until Jotaro is a drooling mess beneath him who can't remember anything except the feeling of Kakyoin's hands on him and the bone-deep relief coursing through him. With something like reverence and a fluttering feeling of intimate familiarity, Kakyoin touches him everywhere, not an inch of skin left leisurely unexplored. He's everywhere at once, that addicting all encompassing caress, it's as if Kakyoin has extra arms or–

Shit. With effort, Jotaro manages to turn his head and crack his eyes open. The familiar green glow of Hierophant Green surrounding them is the first thing he sees, and Hierophant Green itself is the second.

From upside down Hierophant Green suddenly appears, peering at Jotaro with a tilt of its head and even though its face is mostly expressionless Jotaro can't mistake the fondness he sees there, or the fondness he feels himself just from seeing Kakyoin’s Stand.

And then Hierophant Green's tendrils snake up Jotaro's chest, slithering between the tight space of his body and the mattress to smooth up his neck, gently stroking and petting like Hierophant Green is trying to memorise Jotaro through touch alone.

”Tell your user he’s cheating.” Jotaro tells Hierophant Green in a low mutter. Or he hopes he does, his tongue feels like a dead weight in his mouth, jaw slackened under the joint ministrations of Kakyoin and Hierophant Green.

Kakyoin laughs brightly and Hierophant Green echoes the noise with a trilling chirp. Almost like they can both read Jotaro's mind (or maybe it's his body they're reading), a slick tentacle slips past his parted mouth, a quick dart and brush against Jotaro's tongue, like Hierophant Green's own version of a kiss.

Even as it leaves his mouth Jotaro chases after it with an eager grunt. Kakyoin's firm hands on his shoulders and two of Hierophant Green's tentacles wrapped around his ankles and one around his neck are the only things that stop him, and knowing he’s at the mercy of that joint strength leaves Jotaro aching in more ways than one.

“Fuck, please,” Jotaro pants. He fists his hands in the bedsheets, bowing his head against the bed and teeth gritted as another wave of pleasure wracks through him in time with the sweep of the heel of Kakyoin's palms along his ribs. It’s so good it’s nearly unbearable. “More, harder. Fucking anything–”

Kakyoin simply hums with amusement above him, like Jotaro isn’t about to lose his mind or bite right through the pillow in frustration. As Hierophant Green happily works kneading tendrils up and down Jotaro’s arms and legs, Jotaro shudders and cranes his head, meeting Kakyoin’s eye over his shoulder as Jotaro drags his lip through his teeth.

“Not tonight, Jojo.” Kakyoin murmurs, grinning faintly. He leans with his full weight and drags his palms down the arch of Jotaro’s shoulder blades and back up again. “When we're done with you, you won't even be able to get your arms up let alone anything else.”

“Cocky.” Jotaro notes with a glint in those heavy-lidded eyes. He swallows thickly and raises his chin. “Sounds like a challenge to me.”

“There’s a difference between cocky and confidence, Jotaro.” Kakyoin informs him primly, just to see Jotaro roll his eyes even through his frustration and turn back around, burying his face in the pillow with a huff. Kakyoin counts that as another win of many.

“Tomorrow night.” Kakyoin promises lowly, curling over Jotaro again to bluntly scrape his teeth at the nape of Jotaro’s neck, brushing his lips over the bizarre star shaped birthmark on Jotaro's shoulder. “If you can wait that long, that is. It’ll give you something to look forward to while we’re fighting for our lives for the twentieth time this week, and it’s only Monday.”

Jotaro's snort is muffled and he pointedly bucks his hips and Kakyoin too where he’s straddling him. “I don't need a promise like that to look forward to a night alone with you. I don’t care what we do, just being with you is enough, Noriaki. I love you.”

Kakyoin abruptly pauses with his lips at Jotaro's jaw. Hierophant Green covers where its mouth would be with its hands, glancing between the two of them before disappearing.

Jotaro tenses when his own quietly sincere words catch up to him, echoing and settling in his head and momentarily undoing all the relief Kakyoin has worked into him. The tension easily bleeds from him just as quickly though when Kakyoin kneads at the stiffness in his shoulders again with scarily pinpoint accuracy. Jotaro sighs shakily at just how good it feels, and at what he’s just said. It’s the truth, just not exactly the time or place he wanted to say it.

Feeling the slow spread of Kakyoin's smirk against his jaw, Jotaro shakes his head and half-heartedly elbows Kakyoin away. “Don’t. Pretend you didn’t hear that so I can tell you properly tomorrow or something just...don’t.”

“Don't what?” Kakyoin asks innocently and if possible his smirk only grows wider. Kakyoin does that something again, making Jotaro writhe and cry out before he can fully clamp a trembling hand over his mouth. Kakyoin laughs and makes a consoling noise that's definitely more teasing than anything close to consoling. He lightly tugs on Jotaro’s hair to lift his head up and delights in how flushed Jotaro’s face is, stained red from his throat right up to the roots of his hair. Kakyoin teases so mercilessly, Jotaro bats Kakyoin’s hands away and shoves his face into the pillow to escape. “I thought you loved me, Jotaro?”

“Cocky.” Jotaro repeats insistently and panting like he’s ran a marathon, even as he lets Kakyoin bodily haul him over and spread him flat on his back.

There’s a wide smile on Kakyoin’s handsome face as he leans down to brush their noses. “I love you too, Jotaro. I love you so much. I didn't even know it was possible to feel like this, I thought it was just in songs and movies. When I’m with you I feel so at ease, like everything is finally right in the world.”

“Yeah,” Jotaro murmurs cleverly, gruff and breathless like he’s been punched in the gut. He opens his mouth and closes it again, nodding numbly. “Yeah.”

Kakyoin can just about manage to kiss Jotaro through his smile, but if anything it just makes the kiss all the more sweeter and Jotaro can’t fight the smile rising to his own lips. He tucks Kakyoin’s curly bang back behind his ear and thumbs his cheek, drinks up every little detail of Kakyoin’s face until he can still see it even in between blinks.

There’s another embarrassing confession of love on the tip of Jotaro’s tongue and by the amused, patient grin on Kakyoin’s face he knows it too. But something beyond Kakyoin’s shoulder wrenches his attention away and he raises a wary brow.

“We’ve got company.” Jotaro mutters, eyes narrowing suspiciously as Star Platinum floats closer.

Kakyoin turns around with a bright grin when Star Platinum nuzzles into his neck. Jotaro crosses his arms and silently watches with his head tilted back. He always expects to feel a hot spike of jealousy, especially when he feels the little peck on the lips Kakyoin gives his Stand, but it doesn’t come. It never does. Instead it sets his heart hammering and he wishes he had his hat on to tug down over the flush rushing to his face.

“Did you enjoy the massage too?” Kakyoin asks, tickling under Star Platinum’s chin to make it laugh. Star Platinum murmurs an enthusiastic ora and leans into Kakyoin’s touch like it can’t get enough. Jotaro knows that feeling. “Next time join us properly and you can have Hierophant Green all to yourself.”

Enjoy is an understatement.” Jotaro scoffs. “I’m surprised Star Platinum is still standing after that.” He’s pretty proud he doesn’t snort at his own joke.

“What can I say?” Kakyoin sighs, like it’s a terrible burden. “I’m just that good.”

The sigh quickly turns into a choked laugh when Jotaro surges up to kiss him and wrap his arms Kakyoin’s neck, dragging him back down with a smirk.

Jotaro slides his palms up Kakyoin’s bare stomach, greedily touching every inch of skin he can get his hands on. Kakyoin nips Jotaro’s lip and sucks at his tongue, hooking his thumbs into Jotaro’s tight black boxers, tugging them down until–

Jotaro yawns loudly, right in Kakyoin’s face. They stare at each other for a second of silence before bursting into tired, quiet laughter.

“Tomorrow.” They murmur in unison, foreheads pressed together and eyes shining with shared mirth.

They climb beneath the covers and reach for each other on instinct. Kakyoin settles in the middle of the bed and opens his arms for Jotaro to comfortably crawl into, fitting like the space was made just for him. Jotaro rests his head at the curve of Kakyoin’s shoulder and he’s such a welcome bulky weight in Kakyoin’s arms and half on top of him that Kakyoin doesn’t even care that he can’t really breathe.

Kakyoin tugs the quilt over them both, huffing at the strain. “You know you're basically one big stiff muscle, right? That was like a workout for me, I feel like my arms are about to drop off.”

Jotaro somehow manages to shrug with two arms wrapped around Kakyoin. “You’re the one who offered.”

“I know.” Kakyoin grins, brushing a kiss to Jotaro’s forehead. Jotaro grunts, another small smirk quirking his lips when Kakyoin says. “And it won’t be the last time I offer either.”

Over the rim of his coffee cup at breakfast the next morning, Polnareff glances between Jotaro and Kakyoin with a sharp, knowing little smile.

Jotaro scowls, praying he doesn’t flush. “What?

Polnareff touches an innocent hand to his chest. “Did I say something?”

“Your face is saying plenty.”

Polnareff sniggers into his coffee. “Someone was saying plenty last night…”

“Stop teasing them.” Abdul scolds, reading over the local morning paper, particularly the headline story about the mysterious explosion which they just so happened to be the cause of. “You know what it’s like being young and in love.”

Polnareff grins, momentarily ignoring Kakyoin’s spluttering and Jotaro’s stony silence to drape his arms around Abdul’s broad shoulders and lean in close. “I know what it’s like being old and in love.”

Abdul raises the newspaper, pointedly blocking Polnareff from view.

Kakyoin pulls a face. “You’re only twenty-three, Polnareff.”

“Yeah.” Jotaro agrees immediately, latching onto anything that conveniently points out what a dumbass Polnareff is and distracts from the two of them. “If you’re talking old you mean my old man.”

“Don’t worry,” Polnareff takes a sip. “Mr. Joestar heard too. Incoming torment in three, two, one–”

“Oh my GOD!” Joseph suddenly yells in Jotaro’s ear and effectively deafens the entire room and probably the whole block too. People sitting at nearby tables whip around to glare at them. “I knew you had it in you, Kakyoin! Welcome to the family! Knock that grandson of mine down a peg or two, let him know who’s in charge!”

Kakyoin looks mildly speechless, Polnareff loudly laughs his whole ass off, Abdul kindly hides his laughter behind the newspaper, even if the newspaper in his hands shakes with the effort of it.

“Give me a break.” Jotaro sighs with resignation, slumping down in his seat and tugging his hat low in mortification. “Forget Egypt. Just kill me now.”
