A little about me. I'm a 28-year-old guy who was and was born and raised in Missouri; some people think that means I talk like a cowboy, but I'm not really country. I live in Michigan now, though. Currently, I'm employed as a bus driver.
I'm asexual and aromantic, which might surprise a lot of you, considering I write romance. It's something I enjoy but never really want to experience personally... though that only applies to humans. If anthropomorphic animals or aliens or whatever were real, my love life might be more exciting. Cross-species romance is my jam (usually Male Human X Female Non-Human).
I'm also Christian. I try to integrate religion into my stories; they're about ordinary people confronting the unknown, and that would change anyone's perception of God. I just hope I don't come across as preachy.
I'm an English major who tried to get into teaching. It ended up being a waste, though, since I disliked teaching. I don't regret going to college, since that's how I met all my friends... and I improved at English because of my major. If university made me a better writer, well, I guess there are worse reasons to have gone to school.
Most of my stories are multi-part epics centered on a large cast of characters, nearly always with the aforementioned interspecies romance at the heart. There's drama, intrigue, action! Sometimes, though, I like to do smaller one-shots or two-shots for ideas that don't lend themselves to this formula. Not much middle ground; it'll either be quick or something huge.
