Summary
Boiling a Frog (metaphor): The premise is that if a frog is placed in boiling water then it will jump out, but if it is placed in cold water that is slowly heated, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death. It is used to describe the failure to act against a problematic situation which will increase in severity until reaching catastrophic proportions.
There are three steps in boiling a frog.
When Kaoru’s father bankrupts the family and disappears, Kaoru reaches out to Adam for some money. He ends up dealing with a different Shindo.
